    COOL. I LIKE THE DISH SOAP STYLE MORE THAN THIS POWER-WASH STYLE. BOTH KOOL 🤙🤙🤙🤙

    Very sweet. Been using ripped masking tape for paint edges for last few years and now I can add the power wash to that technique 👍

      It's so easy to do and creates a really cool one-of-a-kind effect on the paint.

    I have to try this on my next body! This is perfect for a basher build too! As we all know, our bodies will see some wear and tear and they’ll get some scuffs and scars. The scuffs and scars can just become part of the scheme or they can be easy to touch up.

    At first, I was not sure I was feeling it, but as you said, trust the process. Just like that, the finished product looks great. I'm definitely going to try one of the soap painting methods. Thanks

      Awesome! Now the tough choice - regular dish soap or powerwash foam?

  • @whirlybirdrc

    Wasn't so sure about how it would turn out at first. But then you put all the stickers and plastics on. Looks great!!

    • @XXLRC
      @XXLRC  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I felt the same way. The colors looked dull before I pulled the protective plastic off. Sometimes you just have to trust the process.

    Very nice effect that creates and a super fast way to do a transition from one color to another! It turned out awesome!! Now you need a couple more set of suspension arms to mixed up the colors of them all the way around!!

    • @XXLRC
      @XXLRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'd love to mix up the arm and shock colors, but that could get real expensive. Might still do that later on. Certainly, nobody ever got into this hobby to save money. LOL

    OMG I love this idea, damn, now I gotta buy more paint, and a blank body. Like this WAY better than Hydropainting. I like it man...I myself like 3 fade color, 6 to much for me. The idea thou is AWSSOME

    • @XXLRC
      @XXLRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you like it. I say GO FOR IT! It's pretty easy to do, almost impossible to screw up, and the end result is awesome! Thanks for watching!

  • @kennymsd
    @kennymsd ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The reason you needed 6 cans to cover your last body is your spray technique. The continuous spray and shake method gets more in the air than on the body. Paint in smooth strokes. You know paint strokes.... this will leave a nice even paint job with less waist. Anyhow. cool affect with the liquid mask..

    Can you make one with a black backing.

    • @XXLRC
      @XXLRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can back it with whatever color you like. I chose white to really make those fluorescent colors pop. The colors will change quite a bit with a black backer. I did black backer on another body that I painted fluorescent orange and it looked copper color with the black backer.

    Looks great! In-between color coats what do you use to dry the body?

    • @XXLRC
      @XXLRC  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! I just used an old hand towel to dry off in between colors. I just wanted to get it mostly dry. If you miss some water, it will add to the splotchy paint edge effect anyway.
