I didn't even notice this feature was included! I don't have much experience with music, so being able to just tap out a rhythm and turn it into a drum loop is super helpful.
It works well but I do not understand what the advantage is to recording the audio with a mic and converting it to a midi instead of just using a keyboard or pad and making it midi right off the bat, this also lets you listen to the drum sounds while you are doing it so you can tell how the pattern and sounds fit in, unless this is mostly for people who do not have a midi keyboard, in that case it might be better to do it this way.
I have 9 pro, and there isn't an option to convert..... Ive heard there's software that does it but had no idea Mixcraft had it. That's awesome, if I could get it working in mine!! Thanks for the video!!
YEAH !!! great job !! Thank you for the best tip for this DAW tool so far, I'm just wondering if this works without the Celemony Melodyne plugin installed? because I only have one license for it, so I wonder if it works in the basic Mixcraft pro package
Hey I wanna know Im using mixcraft 8 so can we get any sample from recording audio like a flute one note and then convert it into midi so will we be able to use that sample of flute and change Octive up and down and can play it with keyboard cuz I was trying but I couldn't get any option kindly help me if you got my question
Please, I've been trying to create a 6/8 loop for a live worship experience but I'm having issues quantizing it the loops don't really match the metronome, they come earlier or after.
Really excited about this feature, but when I press convert audio to midi very little of the original sample gets converted over. Not sure what I am doing wrong
Hey there! If you find the feature isn't working as intended, feel free to contact support at support.acoustica.com and we'd be glad to check into that for you!
This is ridiculous! I'm thrilled this exists. I wonder, though: does it work for singing too? That is, if I sang a melody I wanted, would it transfer (more or less) to the appropriate notes on the piano roll?
Hey there! That's correct - this would work for monophonic audio so you can (generally) get pretty good results by signing a melody in and converting to MIDI! It can be very useful to start experimenting with vocal harmony parts.
Sir plzz make How to convert midi to audio.. I'm using mixcraft pro.studio.9.. but I can't this... Its a very important to mee.. Plzz sir if u Make this video so it's a very thankful to me... I'm a singer u also cheak my all songs.. I'm from India..
Hey there! For that you can use the 'mix down to stems' feature of Mixcraft which renders all your tracks down to audio format. To do that, you can go to File > Mix Down To Stems and export them to your desktop or another location. Then, you can drag the audio clip back into your session!
@@acoustica222 Thank You so much sir.. I will try it..and Very very thank u to rply me.. 😊.. I'm using mixcraft Last 2yrs and really it's a very nice DAW.. thanks for This DAW..
Hey there! This function doesn't actually distinguish different sounds. While you may be able to program drums from a live drum kit this way, it's not the intended purpose of this feature. Instead, this feature is meant for mono audio like turning a vocal into a MIDI line.
Hey there! If you're having trouble with that, feel free to reach out to our support at support.acoustica.com and we'd be glad to check into that for you!
Hey there! To make an audio track mono you can right click on it in Mixcraft and then go to Properties > Channels and then select the left or right channel.

I switched from Cubase to Mixcraft years ago. Glad I did after seeing this.

I learned something new today. Awesome 👍
mx9 is sooooooo under rated. all you really need is an imagination as aposed to an over complex daw
This is so useful for me, thanks for making the vid.
What a smooth base voice you have venus theory!

YEAH !!! great job !! Thank you for the best tip for this DAW tool so far, I'm just wondering if this works without the Celemony Melodyne plugin installed? because I only have one license for it, so I wonder if it works in the basic Mixcraft pro package
Hey there! Melodyne isn't required for this, as this is a built in function with Mixcraft!
it would be faster to not move the first recording
just mute and record the hi hats above it
