I just wanna thank you so much for your top notch support for the Mixcraft users. I just bought Mixcraft 9 after getting tired of ProTools monthly billing and Cubase crashing more with every update. But you guys have "kept it simple" in a sense that amazes me... You are THE ONLY DAW which work seamlessly even if you disconnected the External Audio Interface... You are also the only one (running Windows) on which I can just drop a MIDI file and it will read & play it without additional routing. Those little simple things have made me love you. Thanks
Literally the same 4 plugins I use to master my tracks but never really knew what I was doing... Just made it sound good. This will help me so thanks a lot. By the way, you have a very nice voice and great way of explaining things. I've been using Mixcraft as my main DAW since version 5, and I have to say that I am excited for the future.

Great video! I had to come back and watch it again, because at the very end of the video, you compare your mix with your master. I could not figure out why my master track did not show any signal. On the second hearing, I noticed that you "brought the master WAV file back into Mixcraft." That is how you were able to compare waveforms of the mix versus the waveform of the master. Thanks for producing a most informative presentation.
Possible Video Suggestion: Mastering a whole Album? I know there are many videos on this, but a tutorial using Mixcraft would be great. Thanks again for this, and all Mixcraft videos.
Wow Cameron , this is a game changer for me and you just taught me so much incredible information in this video . I really appreciate what you are doing . Thank You so much !
Excellent. Concise, accurate and informative. Mixcraft is by far the fastest way to get a tune from your brain to disk other than a hardware recorder like a Zoom R24.
Hello! Thank you for a great explanation on Mastering. I have Mixcraft pro studio and I dont seem to find the TB Ferox tube amp simulator plugin? Where can I get it??
Hey there! Mastering is a process covering the entire mix, and not individual elements. So, this wouldn't really apply to a single track in a mix. As for the tape emulation/level, this is highly relative. There's no real answer as to exact levels of things, as it just depends on the context of the mix. Remember: if it sounds good, it is good!
je je.... just reverb, eq, compressor plugins that's all man... don't take your self in a complex maze... as long as you know ho to tweek knobs and what your eardrums fits in
Excellent video, people can get going and revisit the steps to a good master. Very well done, as I've used Mixcraft when it was just a beta program! Nowadays, it's come a long way baby! :) Cameron... clear with a great radio voice...AKG mic?
The TB Compressor is a great compressor for any style! No one compressor is really 'genre specific', but rather just one tool in the arsenal to enhance your tracks!
Great Tutorial! A few questions…For best practice should one never use headphones or headsets when mastering? Also, can you advise me on the innate PC volume level vs the use of the DAW Mastering volume levels? Thanks 😊
1. Lesson learned on bouncing tracks.... If there's a send, it's going to bounce that send into that tack. 2. I wish there was a HPF on the parametric equalizer in the mix tab. There's shelf and bell for the low end but no HPF knob. Also where in the chain is that parametric eq? Is it like a master eq for the track or when do all the fx go after that?

Hey Cameron. Just one or two question man. What are your thoughts on using a plugin like Izotope Ozone elements on the master track? It seems to work like magic. And...
