That was my first choice, when I did the other but when I restarted everything with DLC in it and choose Sacrifice all the time. But I also killed Lucien before he finished his speech. It wasn't because of revenge, it was to bring the Hero of Bowerstone's sister killer to justice. Of all characters in Fable Reaver is the worst. Sometimes I wish you could kill him in the games.
I chose the "love" as my ending. Being re-united with my sister and faithful companion, as well as any spouse I may have had is the LEAST thing the people of albion can do to repay me for saving all of the world, rather than bring back a bunch of people I don't know.
Angel Cervantes It's sad? It's a fucking virtual world. None of those imaginary characters are going to go on to have lives. What's sad is that you take it so seriously.
Belinda Babette u can't find rose in game which is sad because I want to know how much she has grown or if she's still small. but in her note she said she is healthy and fine and met a new friend and also mentioned she has pretty little house and so on.
Hammer... she's the reason I go down the heroic path. Just her saying that she's leaving behind a true friend (me) makes me realize that my selfish instincts would let her down.
the third option is useless and one must be a moron to select it. You get 1 million gold pieces. You can get more gold than what to do with without the third option. Theres a glitch. All you do is make money from various jobs and use it to buy a house or a business. Jack up the prices to full and then save, after saving move your Xbox clock forward by a year. do this a few times and youll be rich before you know it
Yep... You can also stick an expensive trophy in a house, sell it, then rob it back... But of course the fastest way is to buy tons of homes, and shops, and rent out your homes, but don't be stingy... Then set your clock highest... But before going on the game, i set clock to lowest time, and remember, obviously go offline... xD
The worst thing about fable is that you can't marry reaver let alone build relationships that lead to different scenes I wish the fable games relied more on choices that could change the way the story ended drastically
I chose family as my ending. I didn't care much for my husband because he was aggressive but I was a good person so I didn't kill him, and my kid was annoying af BUT I COULDN'T SAY NO TO MY DOG ffs my heart shattered when he jumped into that bullet
Sacrifice: You get a lot of people to like you, morality, purity, and an awesome statue! Not the most exciting choice, but the most moral, and that's what matters. Love: You get back your sister, your spouse(s), and your dog back. If you don't pick this decision, you can still get Knothole Island and resurrect your dog there. How? Try typing in "How to resurrect your dog without getting the 'Love' ending" or something. I can't describe how it works. Wealth: Obviously the corrupt ending, but allowing you enough gold to get the castle... the castle that you and your sister wanted. Probably the least satisfying, it's more interesting accumulate enough wealth the old fashioned way.
Yup, it's the Ultimate "Good" ending, however the Love ending is more of a Neutral-Good ending where you bring your loves one back. But fuck that, life isn't worth living without loved ones, ad i could't play the game knowing my dog is gone and my sister is dead forever.
i chose love too and everything was how it was before i did the final quest, everyone loved me, my wife and kid loved me, my dog of course, and i was rich enough to still buy the fairfax castle. i rule.
@Rhys10218 Dude you are totally right. I started writing paragraphs as responses to you based on the vague dialogue explanations in the trailers, but Stephen Fry is confirmed to come back voicing Reaver, and one point of mine was that the Fourth Hero is dead in Fable 3, but from the sacrifices, he is eternally young. Good show my boy!
Such a beautiful game because I grew up with it all my life and I am playing it right now but the ending is so sad it makes me want to cry because of the memories and rose and the dogs death but you have to think about which action you pick. If you pick gold that means you do no care for any-others that lost your life and that makes you a selfish person that just wants the best for themselves and no one else. If you picked sacrifice then rose and your dog stay dead while all the lives taken in the making in the Spire will come back and all of Albion will love you and praise you and you will be a very good person that worries more of others life and cares for others more then yourself and that means that if you had to die for all the lives to come back you would because you want what’s best for everyone that ever lost a life. And finally Love if you choose love you will not get Gold and all the life’s lost at the Spire will stay dead but that does not make you a bad person but you want the best for you and you want your family back no matter what happens. You still care for others but you can save everyone at once but only at 1 time -Josh
Tbh I think there should have been a fourth ending where Rose was actually there to talk to and hug and all that, would've been more wholesome than a lousy letter
i somehow realised the theresa was currupted when they first looked at the spire from bowerstone. she tried so hard to feed his mind with thoughts of revenge.
Same, I dont own the game but whenever Im over at my friends who does have it, we are like always trying to save the dog and stuff. Hes so cool, we called him scraps
It's a special quest, I bought the tower, it's pretty awesome. Basically you use the bed in the tower after you've bought it and you awake in a completley different world. It's kind of like a nightmare I guess. It's hard to explain, I'm not sure if buying the tower is worth it but you still get reknown for doing the quest I guess. =/ Plus you get a special treasure.
Theresa played both Lucien and Sparrow. Pitting them against each other. She did it to get the Spire but also it was Sparrow's destiny to save Albion. And when we see her in See The Future DLC, she only wanted the Spire so she can see her visions clearly so she can help Albion.
yea also wen u get rose's note it says shes living with this guy that "wheres a hood and looks really scary" could be another jack of blades, or something even more sinister...
oh and your dog doesnt die in the sacrifice, every one gets to live, its a sacrifice of love, by letting everyone else live, you have to give up your happiness, so your family and dog are still alive, they just forget about you.
least you get just enough gold to get Castle Fairfax. Of course, if you don't want to do this, then accumulating enough gold yourself is an option. The gold cheats are an option, but I also recommend using the in-game sales (especially massive sales) by buying the really expensive items, then selling them when the sale ends.
To get all three achievements for picking Sacrifice, Love, and Wealth, as soon as you get the achievement for any selection, go to your Xbox Dashboard, reload to the point, get the achievement and repeat.
OMG! I just realised that if u pick the lover u get a letter from rose. the letter says she is staying with a thin man wearing a hood. I thought about it a bit and i think he may be scythe from fable one. who was the oldest hero and knew (i think knothole glade ) would be in trouble. it seems to make sense.
@OverlordRocks Yeah, Hammer was always a good girl in my book. When I first played and I heard what she wanted to do I hoped she would get over her post-war melancholy. A woman like that deserves a normal life after what she went through.
i think 3 things 1:Theresa is the fable 1 dudes sister 2:she will try to resurect him, because she wants to use him as a tool #:in fable 3 you will play as that resurected hero
@Runeman09 The Perfect World was very eerie, wasn't it? Expecially when you pass through the gate and Rose makes the bloodcurdling "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" Then it's all,.... Death.
noo she said she is with an old man and stuffs, but there are quite alot of references that hint she is with an immortal character called scythe from the first game.
Played through the game about 2 yrs ago. Choose the honest and decent way throughout the whole game. I also choosed the sacrificel ending. Played it through today, again. Choose the family before the workers of the spire, couldn't help feeling guilty, although i did it for the achievement. That's what i love about these games, and thats why i probably won't finish the game as an evil character as well.
Of course, with the DLC (I forget which one) you can get the dog back another way, and not have a family at all until after this, so really that narrows it down to 2. The choices are actually pretty odd, since there's no reason (at least given) that you couldn't wish for all 3.
"The world is your's to enjoy. But the spire...is mine. Be gone." I developed such a crush on Theresa after that. Anywho, I picked love--I couldn't stand playing without my dog and little daughter, who likes peanuts and shooting a toy bow, and my ugly son and wife and secret husband. Good times.
Well, I had already maxed out everything by the time I had even got to the F1's Arena, as well has having enough Food to feed one family of 3 for their entire lives and enough health potions and resurrection phials to bring entire armies back from the dead, (I'm exaggerating of course, but not much) so maybe that's why. Even at the points when I'm not overleveled and not packing ridiculous amounts of health restoring items in Fable 1 and 2 there's still no point I'd call hard or even difficult.
for 3. he only dies in the wealth option, in sacrifice, everyone comes back to life, including your dog and sister, but you gave up their love for you in the sacrifice, so they totally forget about you. but ya, you never get to see your dog again either way
i for one am glad there wasnt an annoyin final boss fight with lucien, its unreal the amount of glitches i have come across in fable 2 so it would have probably glitched at the end anyway.
the end is so pressuring! this has to be in fable 3. what really pissed me off was that when i chose the wealth, i thought i could buy the spire...i chose one mil and after that, a canadian guy online gave me 64mil at rookridge...i couldve had the dog. (this may be random but it is very true)
Yeah, i went to get the daichi, and the red dragon and stocked up shitload of potions expecting a hell of a fight, but then, all i needed was a music box.
I made 3 different files because of the different endings, and after I finished the game file that was meant for the sacrifice, I played it rarely... still play the wealth and love ones often though... funny.
I feel like I've seen all of Hammer's varying dialogue for the choices except one, and evil character choosing sacrifice. It makes me curious what she'd say, since she does comment on an evil character's deeds when choosing money or family. But no one has ever done evil choose sacrifice, and I am WAY too curious. Too bad I don't have the game anymore to find out myself. :(
If I had to guess, I would say that the next one or two are continuations along this timeline and maybe the future releases delve into the Civil War/Old West era. What do you think of that theory?
No, the sacrifice-wish only revives does who died during the building of the spire. But Rose was killed because she might was the hero who would stop Lucien.
i chose love my first time playing but then i read Roses letter and chose Sacrifice the next. the people of Albion deserve better. one mans happiness over all the worlds happiness is what went through my head the second time playing. if you think of it that way there really is no choice unless your character is evil
@fireout700 That is i'm affraid wrong:) In fable 3 you are the son OF THE GREAT KING And you see your future not your son's which means the one at the end is you actually and not your son So that is a about some fable 2.5:)
That's what me and my sister thinks. You can kinda tell from her expression when she say's "but the spire is mine" she's obviously going to be evil in the sequel
I picked love but then hammer’s reaction kind of broke me. It messed with me a bunch, when I first played it I didn’t really the choice in itself was selfish. Now I replayed it just to pick sacrifice.
I picked the dog because I kinda grew attached To it
omg same and everyone said loads of salty comments to me ab all the dead ppl but like smd i like my doggo
Same lol
That was my first choice, when I did the other but when I restarted everything with DLC in it and choose Sacrifice all the time. But I also killed Lucien before he finished his speech. It wasn't because of revenge, it was to bring the Hero of Bowerstone's sister killer to justice.
Of all characters in Fable Reaver is the worst. Sometimes I wish you could kill him in the games.
Same. I just couldn’t
I wish rose came back to life with the dog :(
Aaron Caller she technically does
She does the quest retribution is how you can be reunited with her
She does. We just never see her.
***** Out of the 9 times I've played through this, I picked the "love" ending 7 times.
I am just having trouble finding rose .-.
Belinda Babette u can't find rose in game which is sad because I want to know how much she has grown or if she's still small. but in her note she said she is healthy and fine and met a new friend and also mentioned she has pretty little house and so on.
Arinix Heart
Yeah that is sad tbh.
garth is underappreciated
I like how they ended the game kinda. It was a kind of shock how Theresa was like. This is my spire now, get out.
Hammer... she's the reason I go down the heroic path. Just her saying that she's leaving behind a true friend (me) makes me realize that my selfish instincts would let her down.

DLC ENERGY
one additional thing I do is set the price to maximum for all of the properties. But eventually take it down once I get enough
Interceptor810 YOU!!! ( ゚д゚)
MoNsTa! (*´Д`)ハァハァ
Playinnn boss with imaginary characters...
(n˘v˘•)¬ LOL xD
The worst thing about fable is that you can't marry reaver let alone build relationships that lead to different scenes I wish the fable games relied more on choices that could change the way the story ended drastically
Marry reaver the best words ever
I chose family as my ending. I didn't care much for my husband because he was aggressive but I was a good person so I didn't kill him, and my kid was annoying af BUT I COULDN'T SAY NO TO MY DOG ffs my heart shattered when he jumped into that bullet
I picked the dog, cuz I like my dog
You can revive your dog in the knothole dlc, that's why I picked sacrifice then I got my dog on knothole island
Benjamin Sangwin omg what
Sacrifice: You get a lot of people to like you, morality, purity, and an awesome statue! Not the most exciting choice, but the most moral, and that's what matters. i love how reaver gets pissed off and shoots him...totally caught me off guard, made me jump!!
I picked my dog, and reaver you cheeky bugger god I love him so much
I remember I loved fortune tower so much I played it with select uno cards. I don't remember how to play now :(
Yup, it's the Ultimate "Good" ending, however the Love ending is more of a Neutral-Good ending where you bring your loves one back.

The endings in this game were far more emotional and far more compelling than the endings in the sequel.

@Subzero2cool
Yes, Theresa is in fable 3, a video documentary on the voice cast confirms it.
Tbh I think there should have been a fourth ending where Rose was actually there to talk to and hug and all that, would've been more wholesome than a lousy letter
@KaguyaIllusion it explains it in a quest you can download, i dont want to spoil it here. shes good though
Oh wow, I just realized it after hearing it for so long: that box is playing a re-arranged version of the original Fable theme!
i somehow realised the theresa was currupted when they first looked at the spire from bowerstone. she tried so hard to feed his mind with thoughts of revenge.
Same, I dont own the game but whenever Im over at my friends who does have it, we are like always trying to save the dog and stuff. Hes so cool, we called him scraps

Hero: D:<
Reaver: "U mad?"

And when we see her in See The Future DLC, she only wanted the Spire so she can see her visions clearly so she can help Albion.
Reaver doesn't say he thinks he's going to be sick or something like that I think he has a moment of respect for sparrow at that moment
epic win good sir
yea also wen u get rose's note it says shes living with this guy that "wheres a hood and looks really scary" could be another jack of blades, or something even more sinister...
My childhood game.
oh and your dog doesnt die in the sacrifice, every one gets to live, its a sacrifice of love, by letting everyone else live, you have to give up your happiness, so your family and dog are still alive, they just forget about you.
My first choice was love. Nextime I will get weallth.
You don't need to see my name so go away! I’m rollinggggggggg 😂
You don't need to choose wealth..
You can get a lot of gold easily by doing the time money glitch.
least you get just enough gold to get Castle Fairfax. Of course, if you don't want to do this, then accumulating enough gold yourself is an option. I thought about it a bit and i think he may be scythe from fable one. who was the oldest hero and knew (i think knothole glade ) would be in trouble. it seems to make sense.
lmao I started laughing when you shot him when he was in the middle of talking.
you can keep playing with that character and finish off quests and get achievements and do what you want. fable 2 rocks!
@OverlordRocks
Yeah, Hammer was always a good girl in my book.
When I first played and I heard what she wanted to do I hoped she would get over her post-war melancholy. A woman like that deserves a normal life after what she went through.
@CORRUPT333R ok heres an explanation of were rose is if u choose live. remember perfect world? yea shes there with scythe (aka the first archon)
o.0...
wow wouldn't expect that tone of theresa
it seems like many people love the dog and it's just a video game, imagine all this happens in real life to you :)
i think 3 things
1:Theresa is the fable 1 dudes sister
2:she will try to resurect him, because she wants to use him as a tool
#:in fable 3 you will play as that resurected hero
@Runeman09 The Perfect World was very eerie, wasn't it? Expecially when you pass through the gate and Rose makes the bloodcurdling "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" Then it's all,.... Death.
R.I.P dog... gone but never forgotten
The fact that reaver shot him disappointed me beyond anything imaginable.
being a hero its not about be goergous or idolized its about sacrifice ourselves for the sake of others... I guess that's the moral
noo she said she is with an old man and stuffs, but there are quite alot of references that hint she is with an immortal character called scythe from the first game.
Played through the game about 2 yrs ago. Choose the honest and decent way throughout the whole game. I also choosed the sacrificel ending. Played it through today, again. @Jamesosr LOL. Glad someone got the reference. :)
"I'd thought he'd never shut up" haha funny
That's Samarkand. I can't wait to reach the end of the main quest to choose what I want for doing mostly the good deeds.
I heard she's in a tower from a certain quest and you CAN see her.
i didn't bring the hollowman with me
the spire is so cool.
Of course, you still got some things you can only get when your done with the main story
@TheAngelgirl7 yeah I would like that too... seeing how she always would have a positive attitude towards everything :)
That sounded evil when Theresa said, "But the spire is mine. Begone!"
I smell a sequel.
Of course, with the DLC (I forget which one) you can get the dog back another way, and not have a family at all until after this, so really that narrows it down to 2. The choices are actually pretty odd, since there's no reason (at least given) that you couldn't wish for all 3.
@dcamp346 on fable wiki it says shes good and corrupt good cuz she helps u and corrupt cuz she uses her powers to her benefit
"The world is your's to enjoy. But the spire...is mine. Be gone."
I developed such a crush on Theresa after that. Anywho, I picked love--I couldn't stand playing without my dog and little daughter, who likes peanuts and shooting a toy bow, and my ugly son and wife and secret husband. Good times.
They dont care if you choose sacrafice. They still love you.
Well, I had already maxed out everything by the time I had even got to the F1's Arena, as well has having enough Food to feed one family of 3 for their entire lives and enough health potions and resurrection phials to bring entire armies back from the dead, (I'm exaggerating of course, but not much) so maybe that's why. my doggy my doggy........his memory lives on as my money pouch
for 3. he only dies in the wealth option, in sacrifice, everyone comes back to life, including your dog and sister, but you gave up their love for you in the sacrifice, so they totally forget about you. but ya, you never get to see your dog again either way
Damn...it seems like every time I beat a Fable game I think they need to make a movie of it lol.
Even though the fable games were light hearted RPGs their main campaign storyline were dark af
i for one am glad there wasnt an annoyin final boss fight with lucien, its unreal the amount of glitches i have come across in fable 2 so it would have probably glitched at the end anyway.
the end is so pressuring! this has to be in fable 3. what really pissed me off was that when i chose the wealth, i thought i could buy the spire...i chose one mil and after that, a canadian guy online gave me 64mil at rookridge...i couldve had the dog.
(this may be random but it is very true)
Yeah, i went to get the daichi, and the red dragon and stocked up shitload of potions expecting a hell of a fight, but then, all i needed was a music box.
Sacrifice seems like the canonical choice, making him the 'greatest hero albion has ever seen' according to fable 3
@Southparkdragon actually that's love. Technically Rose comes back to life, but you never see her, which sucks.
Technically, your sister does come back, she sends you a letter. You just don't get to see her.
Exactly she has motives of her own.
dude that makes so much sense ,when her skin gets darker i just thought nothing of it .Way to point that out
Man when Reaver shot Lucien in the video it just killed the moment . . .
love is the best choice cant go without your dog
@Caggiman iv u hav a certain dlc u can use the money1 and bring ur dog bak a way
After that ending you get a letter from theresa. She tells you there where find the gold.
I made 3 different files because of the different endings, and after I finished the game file that was meant for the sacrifice, I played it rarely... still play the wealth and love ones often though... funny.
Well, when I picked Love, all I got was my dog back.
hey could somebody upload a full video of the credits? I love the song that plays...
Actually Lucien shot the dog on that rocky hill, not the spire.
If I had to guess, I would say that the next one or two are continuations along this timeline and maybe the future releases delve into the Civil War/Old West era.
What do you think of that theory?
@TheWazup999 ya what is with that when you chose love the only thing you get is your dog
when she means family she should count your sister too
you can but you can either earn money but if your evil u can chose wealth and buy the castle but you earn 300 evil points
No, the sacrifice-wish only revives does who died during the building of the spire. But Rose was killed because she might was the hero who would stop Lucien.
Yep
"well, i did enjoy, making the pretty light with you, but what now?" lol
lol when Garth said Samarkand I thought he said Summer Camp!
Then I thought Reaver said "Ooooh, I've never been to Summer Camp!"
The sacrifice makes there 2 times more people in Albion, so you will see more people in the towns.
i chose love my first time playing but then i read Roses letter and chose Sacrifice the next. the people of Albion deserve better. one mans happiness over all the worlds happiness is what went through my head the second time playing. if you think of it that way there really is no choice unless your character is evil
@fireout700
That is i'm affraid wrong:)
In fable 3 you are the son OF THE GREAT KING
And you see your future not your son's which means the one at the end is you actually and not your son
So that is a about some fable 2.5:)
When I chose family all I got was a note from Rose saying she was with an Old hero and she was happy...
The hero from Fable I
Not enough food for them all, not enough work, etc.
What soundtrack is it that starts at 7:58?
That's what me and my sister thinks. You can kinda tell from her expression when she say's "but the spire is mine" she's obviously going to be evil in the sequel
I picked love but then hammer’s reaction kind of broke me. It messed with me a bunch, when I first played it I didn’t really the choice in itself was selfish. Now I replayed it just to pick sacrifice.
