Hey I just started watching your videos not that long ago but I have been crocheting for five years now and what inspired me to crochet was wanting to design and make my own creations and I also have ADHD so doing something that makes me sit down and focus is amazing ❤❤
I have been crocheting for at least 50 years. My mom use to create such beautiful afghans and I wanted to make beautiful things like she did. She began teaching me but I continued learning by trial and and error. It makes me feel so good when I can look at my completed works of art. Congratulations and what a wonderful gift to give.
I have been crocheting for about 10 years; I started at the age of 15 crocheting with my grandma. It was our special time together. Once I started working I stoped; but what inspired to to start crocheting again, was me getting pregnant. I could afford blankets and hats. So I figured I could make things myself. I am glad God gave me a gift to create beautiful pieces.
I was inspired by my cat! I wanted to create toys and clothes for him. I have been crocheting for only a few months, but I have enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for this giveaway it is so generous!
So weird, I just commented and my comment disappeared. It is very nice to meet you. You popped up as someone I might enjoy. Those hats really grabbed my attention! I love them and will have to give them a try. Congrats on hitting the HUGE 1k milestone! I am so excited for you. That duffel bag is gigantic and can hold a lot! My husband and I love to travel as well. That bag would come in very handy. I turned 50 4 years ago this past August. I really needed a hobby. I decided to learn to crochet in memory of my grandma. She was teaching me to crochet when I was very young, but unfortunately lost her vision to diabetes before I turned 10. My daughter introduced me to TH-cam and helped me find tutorials and whalla, here I am. I have found a whole fiber family and love this community. It is a sincere pleasure to meet you and I cannot wait to check out your videos and get to know you. Thank you so much for this awesome and very generous celebration giveaway! Congrats 🥳

I appreciate you 🤗

Ms. Gertrude taught me how to crochet over 50 years ago I started and stopped through out the years, but the pandemic kicked my crochet into the hemisphere and I love it.
I've been crocheting for 15 + years and I crochet to help to comfort me and have something to do since the progress of MS in my life shows more. I love the finish product that the stitches create 😍.
I have been crocheting for 34 years, my Grandma taught me the basics when I was 7. I was inspired to learn because all of the women in my family crocheted, and I am grateful for the craft every day. I'm so happy I found your channel. Thanks so much for your kindness!!

I'm 67 years young! Been crocheting and some knitting since I was about 14. I have always loved crafts. My grammy tried to teach me put I just couldn't get it. In Jr. High school I joined the yarn arts club. Turns out my right handed grammy was trying to get this oddball lefty to do it her way. I picked it up immediately when my club leader showed me left handed crochet. And I've never looked back. Made crochet and knit Christmas presents for my family for years. There has been lulls in my crocheting over the years but something always spurs me to jump back in. Making blankets is one of my favorite things. Love your enthusiasm and beautiful smile!
Congratulations! 1000 subscribers is a huge milestone! I can’t wait to watch your channel grow. I have been crocheting off and on for over 20 years, but in the last 2 years or so I’ve gotten really into it. When I first learned how, Id never even heard of it. My mother sat me and two of my siblings down and taught us a basic stitch. I picked it up again to give my hands something to do when I needed to focus, and I’ve been really enjoying giving handmade gifts to my loved ones.

Hi Venita. Congratulations on surpassing 1000 subscribers!!! I just stumbled upon your channel. I look forward to checking out your content. I know I am going to love your channel. You are so bubbly. Love those hats. I have been crocheting for over 40 years. My first project was a blanket that I did for my home economics class. Watching many TH-cam channels I am inspired to try new things. Thank you for being so generous. Have a blessed week.
I have been a crocheter since I was 12, I just loved a crochet jacket I saw and later made...at 67 years young, I know that there is always something new to learn. I even made your signature ruffled hat. I also knit and sew...did I mention I'm left handed 😅😊
I was knitting for 10 years. So when I was 18 I wanted to learn how to crochet. So I taught myself how to crochet from a learn how to crochet book. I have been knitting for 60+ years and crocheting for over 50+ years!!
CONGRATULATIONS on the 1000 subscriber milestone. I have been been crocheting since 1983 (40 years now). Now, it's calming for me and my 6yr old niece's want me to make them dresses and dolls. So it's a bonus for me. I get to create and it's the best therapy for me. Again, congratulations!
I have been crochet 38 years, I saw my cousin crocheting and I asked her to teach me and I started making dollies, then on tops. Now I am throws and hat. I love it so much, Thank you for generosity.
Congratulations on reaching over 1000 subscribers! I consider myself a beginner. I'm a home care provider and I've had several clients try to teach me over the years and I just couldn't catch on lol. Their beautiful work inspired me. During the pandemic I tried it again and I think I've got it! I luckily stumbled upon your TikTok today and absolutely love your technique & patience.
Congratulations Venita on reaching the 1k subscriber milestone… 🎉. Onward to many more. I have been crocheting 55+ years. My great, great aunts and grandmother use to show me how they made squares for afghans… I just recently started to learn how to knit hats… All the yarn is beautiful, also love the duffel bag.. Thank you.. ❤. Best wishes for the future of your channel..
it was me sitting and watching my grandmother crochet afghans and dolls that inspired me to learn to crochet at age 11 I’m 49 now and I’ve taught myself how to make clothes in order to stick out like a sore thumb with the unique pieces that I have been able to come up with without any patterns. I kept seeing these ruffle hats all over TikTok and I could never figure the pattern out for myself and so I gave up until a few days ago when I came across your tutorial here and I was hooked🧶! I feel like I will learn a lot from You.
Since High school so that's about 34 years. My best friend taught me how to crochet. She passed away in 2016 and when I,crochet I,think of her. Thank you for your thoughtfulness!
Hi my mom inspired me to crochet , that was her way of relaxing after work, so I picked up the hobby on and off for about 20 years now. She passed away in May this year and I was going through stuff and saw a couple of skeins of yarn and a hook and decided to watch videos to refresh my memory! I cannot wait to make one of your beautiful hats!
I friend inspired me to learn to crochet in my twenties then I did not keep up with it and started again about three years ago. Thanks for a great yarn 🧶 giveaway
I've known how to crochet for about 50 years. Someone taught me to crochet and knit at the same time. For the longest time, I preferred knitting to crochet - I still do. I set aside crochet for a very long time until I married and my mother-in-law was an avid crocheter and I wanted her to like me. I picked it up again and enjoyed it. I now design crochet as well as knit. I'm looking at that hat thinking I could make it.
Love that you came across my feed I learned how to crochet by watching TH-camrs like yourself I’ve been crocheting for 3 years I love how relaxing it makes me and I’m also a travel agent
Hi there! New to your channel and wow o wow that's a lot of goodie yarns. I've been crocheting for over 50 years and taught myself to knit about 10 years ago. My mom used to make saucers and cups and she'd starch it and hang them on the wall as decorations. She never taught me when I could I just decided to learn and started looking at Anne's crocheting magazine now we have video tutorials, so less buying books or magazines. I closed by shop as I wasn't selling much of anything, money going out and none returning. I'm now making crochet blankets for animal resource centers. Thank you for this giveaway.
I'm New Here! My husband inspired me to crochet hewanted a king size comforter. I've been crocheting for 10years now. It helps me with my depression to make beautiful things.
I have been crocheting on and off for about 40 yrs. I was inspired by my great grandmother and then again later on by mother-in-law. It is a great stress reliever for me and I enjoy making things.
Congratulations on 1000 subscribers 🎉🎉🎉🎉!!!! That is great ! I love your enthusiasm.....it's so contagious. Your hat is awesome! I want to make one. I have been crocheting since I was 6 years old ( in 56 now). I saw my mom And grandma crocheting&thought it looked fun. So my cousin and I sat down with them and learned. I crocheted them each a scarf for Christmas that year. You Are so generous ❤
My daughter is 14 and trying to go to her 1st craft show. She would've loved to have been blessed with some yarn. I'm glad to have found your page. Those ruffle hats and scarves are the cutest!
Hello❤. Your ruffle hat is fitting perfectly. You stuffed that duffel bag with some beautiful yarn. I’ve been crocheting for about ten years. I was inspired because after retirement, I needed something to do to help calm my nerves. I love the look of crochet stitches❤thank you for the opportunity😊. Congratulations ❤
I have been crocheting over 40 years. A friend taught me. And have been expanding and experience every since. If I see it and I like I try it. Thank you either way.
Congratulations! It's super exciting that your channel is growing! Thanks for doing the giveaway. My mother tried to teach me to crochet when I was a child, but without much success. I took up crocheting again less than a year ago because I wanted to make miniature hats and scarves for Christmas decorations, but my knitting looms were too big. I'm so glad I did. I'm having the time of my life!
I have been crocheting for a little over 20 years. My Tia (Aunt) Margie taught me and I loved it from the moment she put a crochet needle in my hand. I was inspired to crochet for tow reasons, 1. I struggled with mental health and it has helped me when I am experiencing anxiety and depression. 2. I have 3 daughters so money is tight. But they get so much joy when I make them hats and sweaters and other things. And that brings me joy. Thank you for this opportunity. Your videos have helped me so much.
Congrats on 1000!!! It looks like you're already up another 500 wow. Thanks so much for this fabulous collection of yarn. I've been crocheting for almost 15 years. I saw a ruffle scarf and just had to try making it and then couldn't stop! 😂
I just started crocheting about 3 months ago. I actually used your ruffle hat tutorial to complete my first real crotchet project. I’m a creative at heart and have been interested in fiber arts but never took the time to learn. I was inspired by wanting to make my sister-in-law a very personal gift for their new baby (she’s due 9/21).
HEY MISS VENITA !! I'm a Southern girl too up here in NC. Girl I just found your channel tonight looking through crochet channels. I subbed to your channel too. I've been crocheting since I was around 7 or 8 and I'm 65 now. Hahaha. My Nanny (grandma) taught me how to crochet using the lace cotton thread and the small steel hooks. She was trying to teach me how to make doilies but I wasn't that great at doilies, but when I got some regular 4 weight Red Heart Yarn, and my 1st J hook, I took off and was selling ear and nose warmers in Junior High, then making toboggans and scarves for gifts for friends and family. I got started and nothing could stop me, as long as I had the yarn. Hahaha Hahaha Okay thank you for a chance at your giveaway. I loved that yarn, especially the blue mint and chocolate together would look awesome, and i loved that pink and grey variegated yarn. They were all beautiful yarns. Some of my favorites !! Thank you for your generosity and CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 1000+ SUBSCRIBERS. I'LL DEFINITELY KEEP WATCHING FOR YOUR NEW VIDEOS. BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR NEXT 1000. YOU'LL GET THERE !!!
I was inspired when I joined a knitting club at my school, but I had some trouble with keeping it up. My teacher suggested trying to crochet instead, so now I have been doing that for 5 years now. It is a great way to be creative, I enjoy making gifts for others. Thank you for this opportunity!❤
I am new to your channel! I am literally in the process of making 2 ruffled hats simultaneously!! I haven't crocheted in years but decided to try it again with your tutorial! I love your teaching method!
ive been crocheting for 2 years, i was inspired by my aunt who crocheted for 30 years. she made lots of lace and delicate doilies, and she was able to teach me. it has been a great bonding experience for us. 😊
A close friend of my parents tried her best to teach me at 16 and I struggled to even make blankets. Over the years I would start and stop small projects. Fast forward 20 years and I made my first booties and dress or my first child. Life happened and now in my 50's I'm starting over again. I have always remembered what she taught me about not giving up and have way more patience now and a glass of wine now too, just like she did back then...lol. she has been my inspiration and wish she could see what I have accomplished.
Hi, my name is Briyonna. I am 20 years old.I have been crocheting for 10 years plus. My grandmother was the first person to teach me the basics of crochet. I learned the rest through TH-cam University. I really fell in love with crochet by watching other crochet artists on TH-cam or Instagram or other social media platforms. I love seeing smiles on people and little kids faces to which inspires me gives me a reason to keep going and love what I do. Also, I do give some of my crochet things away such as for birthdays or Christmas gifts.
My aunt inspired me to crochet 50 years ago when I was 10 years old, but I didn't keep up with it. I rekindled this love affair with yarn and crocheting 8 years ago ain't no stopping me now. Thank you for this opportunity.
Congratulations on 1000 subscribers !!!🎉🎉 I have been crocheting about 7 years. I started with loom knitting. I kept seeing crochet patterns that I loved, so I decided to give it a try.
I’ve been crocheting for a few months officially. you are inspiration for crocheting I was scrolling and your video came up I went to Walmart the very day and have made my very first ruffle hat also my grandmother is inspiration for crocheting too. you really helped me make my first ruffle hat slip knot and all I am really grateful for your videos.
I’ve only been crocheting for almost 2 years. I deal with anxiety, depression, and ADHD, and was looking for ways to help me relieve my symptoms. I saw a crochet video one day, and I thought that it looked cool 🤷🏾♀️. Crocheting has relieved my anxiety and depression by distracting me from my inner mind and giving me something to look forward to, and it’s relieved my ADHD by helping me focus on things more. I honestly don’t think I’d be in the headspace I’m in today if it weren’t for crochet 😊.
I’ve been crocheting for 20 years off and on. I was about 5 months pregnant and inspired by my neighbor who was sitting outside crocheting and she taught me. I wanted to know how to make a baby blanket and I’ve been crocheting ever since. ❤❤❤ and I pray I Win in a Jesus name. Amen.
I've been crocheting for 2-3years now so far and my aunt teaching me to knit at the age of 15 inspired me to crochet. I hope I win because my birthday is September 16th.🎉❤
I became disabled at the age of thirty and ended up in a wheel chair. So I need to find something to do with my time other then watching tv and reading. I remember when my grandma got cancer she made me a blanket I treasure. So I tought myself how to crochet. I have been doing it for 42 years
hello i was inspired by an older lady at church she made dolls and doll tissue holders etc. , now me being a child who loved dolls i wanted her to make me doll clothes , she said no but i will teach you how and its been over 47 years now 🙂
1. I've been crocheting for 2 seconds lol, ive only made a scarf and that was probably a decade ago 2. What inspired me to crochet or want to crochet was seeing videos on tiktok, ive been binge watching tons of tutorials to see all the things i could make and i would love to make little stuffed animals and clothes and be able to say, i made that🎉. I've lost interest in all my other hobbies and crocheting could be something i could be good at. 🧶
Hey I just started watching your videos not that long ago but I have been crocheting for five years now and what inspired me to crochet was wanting to design and make my own creations and I also have ADHD so doing something that makes me sit down and focus is amazing ❤❤

I have been crocheting since I was 6 years old ( in 56 now). I saw my mom And grandma crocheting&thought it looked fun. So my cousin and I sat down with them and learned. I crocheted them each a scarf for Christmas that year. You Are so generous ❤
Thank you ❤️
I have been crocheting about couple of years. I got inspiration from TH-cam videos and Pinterest.

Hi, that’s awesome. Just wanted to let you know that this giveaway is over but I will be having another one when I reach 10k
I have been crocheting for over 40 years. I was a teen when I leatned
Hahaha Hahaha
Okay thank you for a chance at your giveaway.
I’m just now starting to crochet 😊my daughter has inspired me to get started and she is 17 years old. She has been crocheting since middle school.
Congratulations 🎉
Beautiful ❤❤
I’ve been crocheting for about two years. I started because I was bored and needed something to do.

I became disabled at the age of thirty and ended up in a wheel chair. So I need to find something to do with my time other then watching tv and reading. I remember when my grandma got cancer she made me a blanket I treasure. So I tought myself how to crochet. I have been doing it for 42 years

1. I've been crocheting for 2 seconds lol, ive only made a scarf and that was probably a decade ago
