Thank you for the great memories. I bought a black RX50 new and so did my friend at Jim Import Cycles in Wichita. I have heard they gave them away at raffles but we paid cash and trade. We went to hell and back on those bikes. If you lift off the cylinder head to clean carbon then you will see just how tiny the piston is but the cooling fins are huge. (Like a real motorcycle) 56 mph was my top speed and I wish they had a back seat and pegs. We still drove two up at times but it was NOT safe, fast, or comfortable. Thanks again for the memories.
I just got an RX50. Mine doesn't sound too much like yours, but it goes pretty fast! Speedo's out (for now) but I ordered a new one and am fixing it up. I'll get a video up soon!
Hey I'm looking for a set of turn signals for mines. Do you know a good site or place to get them... also my speedo is on the fritz. And i've checked the speedo cable... do you know how that could get fixed? randomly goes up and down with little movement (the speedo)
Wow yours sounds a lot cleaner and healthier than mine. I'm looking for a service manual online. do you know where I can find this knowledge? thanks. PS I live on a small island in Alaska I have no ability to search any auto part stores or mechanic shops
for me (I live in michigan), it's technically illegal for me to ride it without an operator's license, but it isnt illegal until you get caught so 🤷♂️

I drooled over the RX50 and the Honda MB5 'back in the day'! They were such FUN and affordable bikes, and quite quick for 50cc's!

Amazon has them.. looked today. About $70. Not sure if that's new or used.
