It reminds me of my little niece. Only 5 but a tall poppy. I hope with this film to teach her about the importance of staying strong against jealous bullies who don’t have big enough hearts to love.

This made me feel better being who I am in a “sad beige” world. At least that’s what’s glamorized. I used to feel bad for not wanting to live in that trend, but I don’t care anymore. I love the zany quirky things in my home, I love that it’s colorful 🌈
Love the drawn out character and their beautiful movements and face expressions to show them to be caring, happy or sad; respectfully to the artist for such awesome artworks neat. 👌

so funny and sweet. it was so sad when poppy's art was destroyed and tossed away, but then the whole black and white town got its colours, with all of poppy's friends and enemies. oh I love Jim Henson Company. my only question in the film was "what happened to poppy's family and who dropped her off?". otherwise, I LOVED IT!

A true work of art, I really enjoyed watching this short story, I’ve always loved muppet’s as a child I’d make my own muppet’s out of old sock’s and entertain myself for hours.

I am a Tall Poppy… you told my story… How did you know? And Thank You. Eventually I learned to Love My-Own-Self. I met Jim Henson & his crew in 1983 at Universal Studios at the screening of the Dark Crystal. There he sat, on the back of the couch, in his velvet jacket with his gold Kermit lapel pin with the green jewel eyes. I waited in line behind all the children, I was 40 yrs. ‘ol. all I could say to him then was” Thank You for making it Ok to be green”. And now Thank You Brian for making it Ok to be Tall… ❤️❤️❤️💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚❤️. 💙💛

Awwzzzz this was a cute little short film. I related to this so much, I'm always the color in a world full of grey and white who's always trying to bring everyone together. Good job on the film guys it was amazing.

I'm not sure what year this masterpiece was filmed, but It truly resonates with me as my mom said my legs stuck out like that as a baby and everyone I've known throughout my life has told me I'm "tall for my age " or "long limbed and gangly" I had the privilege of getting to see the Jim Henson traveling exhibit last year and I hope I remember every last minute of those glorious long hours, how genius and beautiful of a man he was, I hope to be an artist someday a fraction as accomplished.
