Bhagwad Gita is a standalone chapter from the epic poem Mahabharata, and can be read without any context because of it's form and message. But other than that , I would suggest you to watch videos of reputed Gurus, which almost anyone can recommend. But I'm guessing you're fascinated with the synthesis of modern ideas with the ancient ideas. I'd highly recommend watching another podcast of Ranveer (the guy you're watching) with Nilesh Oak. That man just goes into hardcore scientific evaluation and evidencing of many stories and beliefs.
Just start reading keep asking questions and in many books u get answers.Each books are linked with each hence Hindus have many God's.
