Man. I love this design. Unfortunately, I just got mine and the QC was shockingly poor. Super stiff action, blade not centered, huge burr on the edge and most egregious was consistent lock failure on a slow roll opening. Flicking/ flipping got the lock to engage maybe 2-5%... Hopefully a disassembly will fix the woes...

Does this model come with a hair tie or a beanie to just completely cover the man bun ? Will it’s packaging be organic in nature and biodegradable ? Will it come with a bike because driving cars isn’t green and is also mainstream ? And my last question is where is the opening on the Avant to slide out the flash drive that comes pre-loaded with Neutral Milk Hotel’s - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea album (original vinyl rip of course )? Is making the Avant hipster jokes still a thing or was this just on Lefty’s live and now it’s done .. ??

So far ive purchased 2 knives based on your review/ recommendations, the wayfarer 247s & the Ace grand. Those 2 are great knives so im sure yours will great to. Congratulations and thanks man

For one, it would be cool to see the current state of the collection, two, you have amazing knives, and finally it’s cool to see the design stacked up against such great company. I feel like the Avant blows everything you showed out of the water.
So I ordered the black blade and green micarta. I am excited to get it and happy to support you but I must say I was on the fence before ordering. For one it is made in China and for two $299. For that price I can get a VERY nice USA made knife. I hope this blows me away or I will be returning it. I honestly feel you should have priced this at $199. Even at that price you are in PM2 territory. Hard to say this is a superior knife for a first run at it. We will see. Best of luck.
did you consider doing some giant mouse style mid blade jimping? and if so what was the design thought that made you not add it? purely curious about the design journey
We were determined to not use any jimping on this design whatsoever haha. Not to say we’ll never use it, but we’re confident that this knife doesn’t need it, the ergos do the work.
I'm curious (not trying to flick shit). In what situation(s) do you use your knives to cut things with a draw cut or a reverse draw cut grip? My old man always taught me to cut away from myself so I've never really done so. Also the way you say "comfortable" makes me uncomfortable 😂
Not recommend but If it’s anything like Orlando Disney I’ve forgotten to remove my knife 4 times and it’s never set off the detectors😂 I hope it goes stellar for you!

How many black/brown ones were made? I found SN 11 on eBay that’s black and brown. Curious how rare it is?
