1802 Persian Shamshir Sword - Rare 250 Year's Old Antique Sword

    This is Very Rare 19th C. Islamic Persian SHAMSHIR Sword with Ladder-Pattern Wootz Damascus Blade. Shamshir is mainly used to describe a deeply curved Persian sword with a narrow, wedge-shaped blade with a pointy tip.
    This particular example is early 19th Century Dates 1802 is very special sword in terms of rarity as it says owners name as well as manufacturer name containing a very delicate hand done silver work, Damascus (Wootz) Blade and traces of blood on blade which was quite common back in the days to sheath the sword after use.
    Shamshir Meaning :
    The name consists of sham meaning "tail" or "nail" and shir meaning "lion".
