On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

Missile didn’t even seem to do much to the plane. Just went out with the specific intent of killing *him.*

Love that you show the losses along with the wins. One thing that would be cool is explaining, in hindsight, what you would have done differently after a death like that.

Dude genuinely, I was leaned in, waiting for the JDAM to get sent, and watched the missile come in. The noise and transition you did when you got hit genuinely made me jump.

GS's cue wording is expanding from "I think I'm good, or I'm sure that... " makes it difficult to know when to brace myself for an unexpected kill. He's always so calm and self assured, it's getting harder to tell anymore.

I love cruise missile episodes. I worked AGM-86 (B, C, & D), AGM-129, & AGM-158 (A & B) for a decade. Obviously, the 86B and 129A was planning only. I miss the fun and excitement.

B-21 is nice and all but it's still the ordinance that is the important part when fighting against peer adversaries. The difference between long range stealth missiles and normal cruise missiles is immense.

sweet vid. quick question: there are a few times when he's close to the ground and the altimeter doesn't match his ground altitude. I'm assuming that's cause it's set relative to sea level, but are there manual settings for the altimeter depending on the situation?
Yes there are manual settings. The altimeter works by measuring the air pressure. As higher you fly, as thinner the air as more altitude is indicated. The problem now is that the normal air pressure on ground changes all the time with the weather which is why you have to adjust it. Normally there are 3 reference you set your altimeter to:
1. Sea level
2. Ground level (usually the runway)
3. Standard level
1. Sea level mean 0 in display = sea level
2. Ground level mean 0 in display = altitude above runway
3. you and everyone else set the altimeter to 1013,25 hPa so that everyone has the same altitude reference. 1 and 2 are dependent on the local weather while 3 is independent from any weather.
I'd want the Super Hornet for more hard points with a mission like that.

Overflying the target zone the second time is a no-no. There's a reason for that. I find it's always the last overflight that's the one they get you on.
GS, I would love for you to do a fifth Gen vs 4th gen fight. Meaning, you are in the Raptor and you have to face two strong 4th gen fighters. Like the F-18 and the F-15 at the same time. Guns only.
Would love to see this same mission flown in the F15E.
Those AA missile launchers have never been good in any other video, and in this one, they become god-tier

at 2:30, how did he shoot an magnum agm88 in AA mode with the airradar being displayed?
It’s self defence mode, so when ur being spiked if you will see “harm” on ur hud, point ur nose at it and press weapon release they will shoot a harm at the emission source.
GBUs can be throwen from 20 miles away.
