Also, the 2nd dloor of Landers is waaaaay bigger (use the elevator inside the grocery). You really haven't shopped at Landers if you haven't been to the 2nd floor. The first floor only has very few items. There's also an ATM right beside the membership counter.
Landers at Upton Palazzo & Mitsukoshi mall is just right next to each other. There's a nice ramen shop at Mitsukoshi, I believe it's called Mendoroko Ramenba. 🍜😋👌

Landers Superstore only occupies 2 floors of the 4-floor Uptown Palazzo Mall (regular mall like Uptown Mall with shops & restos) which is not finished yet, the podium where Uptown Parksuites Condos Tower 1 & 2 sit. Uptown Palazzo Mall is written above Landers neon sign, on both 8th & 9th avenues. So, like One Uptown Residences that has a basement walkway to Uptown Mall for its residents plus the Ritz, Uptown Parksuites residents will soon have their own private access to the Palazzo Mall & Landers.

He said it is back breaking work and ironically doesn't have his own means of transportation. Everyday he walks from MRT Buendia Station to his work and back again to get home. He said it is debilitating and really wants to quit. FYI, the other floors are not opened because there isn't any merchandise yet.
Re: e-wallets, GCash and Maya are actually inter-operable, i.e., you can scan the Maya QR code using the GCash app, or the scan- to- pay feature from any local bank app, most people still think it is not possible, but the Central Bank actually requires interoperability via QRPh. you've could cash out your money in Gcash if you could find a shop or store that does that. usually, the fee for cash out starts around P15.00 to P25.00 per 1k. or transfer some of your funds in Pay Maya using gcash. you just need to register in Pay Maya the same you register in gcash. once you are verified you could do the same transaction as gcash or vice versa. Pay Maya has a higher cash limit around 100,000 per month unlike gcaah their cash limit is only P8,000.

Also you can sit down and enjoy a cup of cappuccino etc with delicious baked goods. There are also limited choices of ice creams. The prices are all reasonable imo. On top of that they usually have 50% off on their membership fees however not all the time. They will email you though if there is. Between Landers and S&R both can’t beat Costco. They’re both missing many good products that Costco have for way cheaper prices. I hope someday Costco will be in the 🇵🇭

(3) did you explain to immigration (or did they ask) your real intention in phils and that you have a rental property for a number of months already? I find the whole process confusing, and i'm coming back to phils soon, not sure how to answer immigration questions

He said the management offered him/they to stay in a hotel free of charge but the food there is unaffordable to him.
