This video is exactly what I have been hoping to see on Loon! I love the behind the scenes look on how the boat is run/organized. I am going through Loon video withdrawal. We need more Loon videos! Thanks Nina!
Great video! The Loon team, sure is dialed in when it comes to spoiling their guests! Was really impressed with storage of all the different table settings and linens.
Fellow chef here, love ALL your content but would also really be interested in seeing cooking content. How meals are planned, how things are made, how you time things, cooking techniques, etc! I loved the one of you and Telly making pizzas but I find all of your videos interesting! Thanks lady!❤️
@@the_crewchef normally a cruise ship will not let passengers see much of the crew spaces. They may give you a more personal tour for your channel. I have been on a very good galley tour on a cruise ship.
You are suchna world class chef. As someone who went through formal culinary training and worked in hospitality for decades, you are so impressive. People who have never worked in the service industry have no idea how hard what you do is. Especially at this level of demand from extremely wealthy passengers and clients. Budgeting for any restaurant is hard. But to do so when you are at sea and have to account for detours or ports not having what you need is a whole other game. Having to plan an order for days to weeks long voyages takes a lot of forsight and understanding of cost va portions. I've been binging your channel and absolutely love your content. It's so candid and honest. And you can tell how much you love your job, and appreciate it - even in videos where you're not having the best day - you exucde so much gratitude and integrity in the amazing job you have and the ship you get to call home while on contract
Cool!!! La chef est extra. Toujours très souriante et sympathique. C'est une belle personne comme la plupart qui compose l'équipage du Loon d'ailleurs.
Always a great day when I recieve the notice from YT and Nina.... Indiana sends it's regards froma retired chef and love your passion for exceeding guest expections and your awesome attitude for foodservice is a stressful job and more so being on a yacht with limited provisions and space. Fair winds and following sea's Nina & crew.
How have I just found your channel?! It's so fascinating to see a 'behind the scenes' look at this life - I'll never get to experience this first-hand - this is the closest I'll get, ha! Looks amazing!
I love this look at areas we don’t see very often in the Loon videos. I have often thought that Blair focuses too much on the outside activities and deck crew, when what really makes the trip for the guests is the inside crew, meals, amenities and accommodations. You can pass this comment along to Blair!
Great video love your stories on Loon thank you keeping us going with a Loon story what a great crew and team the Loon team is Look forward to next chapter ❤
Nina this a really HUGE video. M/Y Loon has a blind spot. Paul and Blair miss the difference between the interests of crew/charter guest, and that of a TH-cam viewer. Your videos always find the stuff that viewers enjoy seeing.
All super cool stuff, love seeing the bits behind the scenes! I am with you on the china... I love having nice china. One of our jets has a really nice white Wedgwood service that is super versatile and friendly for plating and cleaning... The other jet has Hermes Mosaic au Gold 24 and it is awful. Absolutely awful. And, not only that difficult to replace when things inevitably get chipped or broken... Urgh. And... And... And... Can we please see more of the muscle hunk at 3:15 in the video please? Those biceps... Wowsers! 🤪😛😃
Hello Chef, I am wondering if you have ever made a Bakewell Tart for your guests? Love the video you do. Thank you for sharing the inside of your kitchen.
Excellent idea for a video and nicely done, thank you. It would be good to do a full video on the wine. How do you manage to keep a variety of wine for guests while also making sure you have enough of each.
Coffee machine secret door is phantastic 😂... ⭐Now imagine a storage room access hatch under a couch ...😄 ...Where is every body gone ...? They all wen't into the couch 😂
Nina this video was awesome and reminded me a little of when you and Tilley (?) worked together. Thank you for entertaining me. Oh and hello from Ontario, Canada :)
Fun video thanks for sharing, I've watched quite a few of yours now. I'm a maritime Firefighting Instructor to the Royal Navy, I'm also retired RN and curious what training you guys do in that regard? Hope you're having a fun trip
Love it, that the Aussies have discovered biltong & even know how to pronounce the word. I guess that us 'English speakers, from the Southern Hemisphere, are very much alike. 😅
Free the shrimp!
🤣
Nah.. You know those sushi things that are rice with a shrimp on top? 1 rice-corn, 1 shrimp and you have a mini-sushi..
That’s no shrimp, it’s a sea monkey 😂
Hahaha, honestly though - I don't know how long that softball sized 'eco-system' will keep him around lol...
it's a perfect alegory of people living on yachts actually
How cute are the napkins hanging up. The cupboards are an organized dream!
This video is exactly what I have been hoping to see on Loon! I love the behind the scenes look on how the boat is run/organized. I am going through Loon video withdrawal. We need more Loon videos! Thanks Nina!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ah, my usual fix of vicarious living on a yacht! Thank you very much for doing this as well as your "day job".
That was fun! Thanks.
The boat is stunning. It amazes me how much clever storage the designer put in.
This is my favorite channel! Once a Chef, always a Chef! Thank you...
... not feeling well so I'm making chicken and beef stock for soup... 🍜🍗🥩
Sounds delicious, rest up!
My favourite also....
Really nice to see you on a yacht that not only appreciates you but values you but also your expertise as a chef....... Happy Yachting Nina 🇨🇦
It was cool seeing some of the hidden areas on board. Thanks Nina!
50 years in the hospitality business and never seen this kind of detail onboard before. Thank you, it was so very interesting. Bon voyage...
You all are so sweet. I really do appreciate you showing us this peek into the life of the crew that runs a yacht.
Love this channel...thank you Nina, and all the crew...
Finally! Nina, thank you for showing us around the interior of MY Loon. I've often wondered what it was like.
Thank you Nina. I love the organization that you and the crew carry out to insure the guests have a memorable experience.
Great video! The Loon team, sure is dialed in when it comes to spoiling their guests! Was really impressed with storage of all the different table settings and linens.

Lovely to see Nina back on the channel 😊😊😊😊😊
It's actually the crew areas that interest me the most. I retired from the USN and love comparing my experiences with yachting crew.
I totally understand - that's why I want to go on a cruise ship, to take a look around
@@the_crewchef normally a cruise ship will not let passengers see much of the crew spaces. They may give you a more personal tour for your channel. I have been on a very good galley tour on a cruise ship.
I’m so thrilled over this channel SO much fun to see it all and everyone seems so nice and agreeable. Not at all like that back biting tv show
Great video thank you! A girl without freckles is like a sky with no stars.
Aaawww that’s sweet

I love the PacoJet Storage closet Haha! At least you have a storage place for your spare equipment.
So true, especially when bench space is at a premium
I'm still shook by the napkins. SHOOK I TELL YOU! Im chronically middle class BUT i may need to get me a "colorful hanging napkin cabinet". 😊
The crew are very skilled and practical.
I cannot tell you how happy I am everytime I open youtube and you have a new video! Please keep'em coming. Also pleaaaaaaaase do a travel show!!!
The irony of a reef-friendly sunscreen on a superyacht... unbeatable!
Anyway - love your cooking!
Excellent and fascinating tour, Nina. The little hangers for all the different napkins....that is some pro-level housekeeping right there.
Of all things, the napkin organization blew my mind. Thanks for the interesting, different video.
Honestly, I kind of assumed they might have told you not to film inside, this is awesome! Thank you!
Hey chef. I’ve painted that Bosun’s locker 2 years ago. It used to be MY ICON. Lots of memories on that boat 🛥️
Very cool!
Love seeing our fellow 🇦🇺 kicking goals and being great ambassadors for our country.
How fun to see some hidden spaces. Thanks to you and your mates for sharing.
That was good good, thanks!
Although, it reminded me of my 5 years onboard DDG 57!
Thanks for that!
Thanks Nina! That would be the most awesome place for a game of crew hide and seek, when there were no guests on board! 🙂🤣❤
Sometimes we do stowaway drills, but we all really know its hide and seek
@@the_crewchef 🤣🤣❤
Thanks for the back stage peek, Nina!!
Thanks Nina! 👍👍👍 Tell Blair he owes the TH-cam fans videos!
When I was a child of the 60s and 70s those brine shrimp kits were marketed as Sea Monkeys. 😊
Great too see more Aussie working on this amazing boat. Thanks Nina for the tour of loon.
Another delightful, entertaining, and informative presentation. Thank you for all the effort you put into making these professional-level videos.
Excellent video showing all the hidden and highly secret places on Loon. Thanks so much.
That ship is magnificent.
Nostalgia vibes from working live aboard vessels on the Coral Sea in the 90's. Did every job except skipper over the years.
Thank you Chef Nina! And all the loon crew, love seeing the bibs and bobs and secret hidey holes! Cheers!
Had to watch twice ❤ Thank’s Nina.
Cool!!! La chef est extra. Toujours très souriante et sympathique. C'est une belle personne comme la plupart qui compose l'équipage du Loon d'ailleurs.
Great tour! I've been missing the Loon crew! Hopefully everyone is doing well.
This is so cool! You all really do look after the guests on board.
Glad you love doing what you do ! It shows !!
Brilliant Nina!
A great insight into the operational ‘ secret spaces’ of the ship! George Clarke would be amazed 😂😂!
Thoroughly enjoyed!
Very ship shape , and squared away. I'm a retired ship's master, and I would know.!! Great job.
Visiting the forepeak was excellent. That's 6:11 the Big Boys Shed!
Lots of little spaces! Thanks for taking us along.
Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭 and wishing you all a great week. Thanks Nina for this fun video and for the time you took to edit it, etc.
Crazy as a Loon. Great little tour.

This was fun! More of this, please!
That was wonderful. Loved it. Thank you !!!
Nice to see, that you have cupboards where you keep the plates, the glasses, the spare kitchen equipment, the head chef, the napkins, etc. 🥳
Nice to see a new video from you Chef 😄

So fun. Thanks for sharing. Love all the nooks.
Very interesting video, it's like peeking behind the curtain at the theater!
Lovely as usual! Thank you for sharing.
Superfun video! So cool to see these areas. Thanks Nina!
The spare galley equipment room sure beats 'the coffin'! 😀
That was cool , love seeing all the little nooks and crannies 😎🇦🇺😎
Agree... love seeing the small details we don't think we need to know about until we do .... Now go find Blair... Loon needs him back 🤣
Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes of loon.
Love watching you, from Cape Town. Thanks for the videos.
3:45 I would DEFINITELY pay the extra bucks to have this provided in AirBnB !!
(But let's just start by having a sharp knife)
Great video love your stories on Loon

Look forward to next chapter ❤
This was outstanding. Thank you
Thank you Nina. Great fun video, we need more!
Awesome video Nina. Really lovely stuff xx
OK, so it might have been like one big advertisement but it was fascinating! 😀Thanks, would like more of that sort of insight.

Nice and fun. :) Everything is so compact. Very interesting episode. thank you.
Very interesting, thank for the tour.
Great tour! Thumbs up! Jim in Phoenix.
Yay biltong box! 🤩
Critical for any journey really

So Wise , Thank You . A fine example of the seldom seen but Vital places
Nina this video was awesome and reminded me a little of when you and Tilley (?) worked together. Thank you for entertaining me. Oh and hello from Ontario, Canada :)
Always a treat to watch. 😀
Fun video thanks for sharing, I've watched quite a few of yours now. I'm a maritime Firefighting Instructor to the Royal Navy, I'm also retired RN and curious what training you guys do in that regard?
Hope you're having a fun trip
That was really cool! You could do it again as I bet there are lots of other areas we haven’t seen!
Love it, that the Aussies have discovered biltong & even know how to pronounce the word. I guess that us 'English speakers, from the Southern Hemisphere, are very much alike. 😅
