Most main steam river cruises Viking, AMA, Avalon etc. are priced out of our budget. This looks very reasonable and lovely ship, food looks good, everything we would need. Look forward to your reply. Hi there, we had American guests onboard with us and they had booked in US online, I’m sure she said they used an online cruise agent. Definitely worth an investigation 👍🏼
Excellent video. I just booked a cruise on Nicko and they want me to sign a consent form concering the Germam language even though they state the cruise is in German and English. Well I wish I spoke German but I do not. Did you have any language issues on your cruise.
Hello there, thank you for your kind comment. This company is predominately aimed at a German market. Our cruise directors Austrian and multi lingual but the safety announcement on first night was only in German. We could only go on a selection of pre booked tours as they organised an English speaking guide just for us. We were not allowed to book on any other tour at all once onboard. Menus are available in English, but you will need to ask for them. It wasn’t as multilingual as we were expecting. We were the only two Brits onboard and we did feel a little isolated. I would really ask questions to Nicko to find out if other nationalities onboard. As far as I’m aware, this product no longer has a uk sales agent. If you’re happy to be quite independent then you’ll have a great time as the ship, food and ports are fabulous xx

I’d email them in Germany, they no longer have a UK office, so I doubt they’ll have an agent in US too
What was the average age on board? I looked at Viking and it seemed like mainly people over 50.
Average I’d say was 55
