It's your account and you should play it however it makes you happy. If you're not enjoying it, you'll slowly lose interest and we won't get to see your great content! Thank you for the update and congratulations on 10k subs!
thank you

You make a great point about leaving. Like fray said in his video today, he was expecting to get barrows really early on but getting it later where it’s much more unpredictable and plays insanely different makes it fun and exciting. Keep up the good work!
Idk why anyone would complain about the way you've been doing things or the way your videos work. I love everything about them! Early congrats on 10k subs!
I’m just here for the chill vibes and mad grinds. Keep going Krak we love ya mate
I really appreciate hearing your perspective on why you decided to leave Varlamore so quickly!
Leaving Varlamore is not only a topic I get asked about on every single episode I make, it’s also a topic that I’m super uncertain about. My opinion on it (which is even more accurate since the release of part 2) is that Varlamore has a lot of great content… that you can’t really do without adding more exceptions to rules or lamping a ton of requirements. In my case, out of the 23 chunks I have left to roll, only ~3 of them actually contain tasks to complete (magic trees, the colosseum, and Hueycoatl).
I think that you definitely picked the perfect timing to leave and whether the chunk picker decides to let you grow stronger or immediately rolls you right back it’s a lot more exciting that way :)
Going outside of Varlamore makes it much more interesting. I chose to start at Sunset coast and to only leave Varlamore by Quetzal to Varrock. Super fair and also totally going by the chunk rules as well.
I look forward to your next episodes.
I feel like unlocking areas outside of valamore makes a lot of sense, both for the reasons you mentioned but also thematically as in the lore, Valamore is just starting to open up to and explore the rest of the world, so being a one chunk account that's primarily based in valamore but is starting to explore the outside world little by little is quite cool IMO.
The new leagues series sounds really cool!!! I'm so interested top see what Valamore plays like in leagues bu it doesn't really fit into my current plan so very excited to see it from the perspective of your account, I can imagine doing moons of peil with the melee relic would be so fun.
Also congrats on the new single!! I'm a fellow kiwi and also excited about the approaching summer so I'll make sure to give it a listen when it comes out :D
I hadn't thought about the lore angle, but that could be something interesting to lean on editing-wise for upcoming episodes, I'll have a think!
Its your series so obviously im all for every plan you got! Musa Point not being rollable makes sense and if i did one chunker myself i wouldnt do that myself either if i can walk to it
idk every solo chunk u roll has 4 rolling options so my main complaint would be that mainland (or any other long-distance transport chunk) gets a disproportionate amount of weighting when rolling new chunks. but i think its kinda whatever either way. not sure if trying to add some kind of algorithm that doesnt have that behaviour would even be a good thing, tbh.
Thank you for this informative State of the Krak address
I haven't watched this video yet, but I would love for you to stay in Varlamore only, then branch out after.
Love the series, its so nice and chill to watch
I have now watched the video, and agree with most people in the comments: You do what keeps you motivated, I'll watch it either way =)
Hope all these comments boost you engagement, but I would leave Musa point locked.
I think you can do whatever rules you feel like, that is what makes your journey unique from others. It doesn't make the grind any less chunky
Love your content! I think it makes sense to make Varrock rollable and Musa Point not rollable. Looking forward to more videos!
I was one of the people complaining about rolling varrock. Not leaving varlemore, but varrock specificallyl. For me, one chunk is about the original content interaction between the journey and the specific creator. Many popular one chunk creators are there now, namely fray and limpwurt. I fear the series becomes less interesting because one part of the equation, the journey, will have major overlaps with those other creators. But I'll stay here and keep watching nonetheless
Cheers mate, If I was choosing where to go, it certainly would not have been Varrock either, but I do as the chunk picker says!
cant wait for more ethical krak content! :)
Yes Musa Point needs to be rollable. You wouldn't make a random chunk unrollable because it's just "free real estate" or "corner content," it's still accessible (in this case by boat), and therefore needs to be rollable.
"A chunk account is like an inventory of chocolate. You never know what you're gonna get" - Krak, probably
The decision to not make Musa Point rollable makes sense to me. It's funny rolling chunks that are corner content and add nothing, but it's sad rolling corner content when there's most of the actual content unlocking that chunk from any other direction. Now it's walkable from the Brimhaven chunk anyways!
I do love me some corner content, but that chunk has my boy Thurgo! Thurgo is so much more than a corner (He's a round lad)
@@krakwithak Oh, right! For some reason I thought Musa Point was one chunk down for borders, just past Thurgo. Then yeah, definitely not corner content. And who knows, maybe you'll roll Musa Point from Brimhaven at some point!
Don't think I've ever seen a 1 chunk who was also only rolling in an area so it's interesting to hear that this was a concern for someone lol, some 1 chunks just name themselves after area I guess so it seems like they're more rooted there but it was always gonna branch out just like Limpwurt is very much "the Lumbridge guy" but his name isn't related to the place and he doesn't brand the series as Lumby chunk in every episode. The Musa Point chunk is a mess for everyone because it's just tricky, do what you'd prefer honestly because having a small inaccessible part of asgarnia isn't necessarily bad, it just connects later
Maybe a rebrand to KrakChunk is in order... the VarlamorChunk name was mostly to help capture the hype of the launch of a new area
I think leaving Musa point as unrollable is fine, most of the walkable area in that chunk is on the mainland, and considering the only reason to have it would be access to karamja I think it makes perfect sense to leave it out due to already having a rollable karamja chunk. Also, I'm not really sure why people would be upset about you making the mainland rollable. It was never outlined that you would be stuck to varlamore only for the entirety of the account. Can't wait for more vids, keep up the good work.
I’m here for any of the content . Love seeing newer creators coming up. The main stream osrs TH-cam scene has been very boring lately
Just be careful with any community votes, as most people will vote with whatever gives more content i.e. makes it easier. You might not want that, personally
Play the account how you find fun, that's the whole reason behind restricted account in the first place!
Overall, I am fine with the decisions you have made. I'd rather you enjoy the game and be motivated to make more onechunk content, rather than being varlamore only.
The mystery of a one chunk is the methods you end up being forced in to doing due to your chunks. Of course you should leave Varlamore.
keep it up champ
I suppose I'm going to be a dissenting voice in the comments.
I think that part of what made your chunk account relatively unique was the aesthetics and specific access to, yes, Varlamore content. You've stated that you're doing the same thing as others, but if you drill down to it, everything in runescape is also just clicking, no? What makes these things distinct is the environment, graphics, and overall access to content, and as soon as all of that starts encroaching on things we've already seen done, the account is, for better or worse, no longer able to support itself on the inherent novelty of the premise. It's all on you and your shoulders to make the content we already know less trite.
Does this mean you shouldn't have left? I think that's not really something I can decide for you. What I think makes for a more interesting series isn't necessarily the same thing as what you find actually fun to do! But I do think there's more of a tradeoff than you're mentioning, and it's disingenuous to ignore it or minimize it.
