I like it! Perfect for a Boomer like myself to easily move to the site and setting it up with ease. Something to go onto my wish list. The dome design should really confuse a guest when you tell them to "go stand in the corner" as punishment for putting the tent down.
Good question, we like the Koala for cooler/cold weather more as it has the two rooms and we find we spend a lot more time in it in the cold. The Octopus is our go to (as of now anyway) in the warmer weather and if we want to have great views outside the tent (rivers, snow, forest, mountains, etc) as this tent tends to let the outside in better. With having these for a little bit now we would be happy with either but maybe lean towards the Octopus a bit more if we had to pick just one today.
I wish RBM would partner with more of the coody accessories I really want this tent with the expansion connector to hook it up to my koala 7. Love this octopus tent I’m tall as well and it’d be great to have a space I’m not dragging my head across the ceiling on the side walls.
@@aquagamer1212The Koala 7 only has one door so putting two of them together won’t work. Maybe a Koala 7 would connect to a Panda (etc) and that would be fantastic! We will need to look further into this and maybe can get a connector and have some fun attaching the tents together.
@@DirtyJakTheDustyBean I want to see y’all make the ultimate inflatable tent cabin!! Hopefully they add some sort of connector or maybe even a hallway attachment 💕
Great review guys! How is the view through the screens? Doesn’t seem as clear as the Panda tent screens Also how tall and wide are the doors? Thinking of backing our SUV tailgate up to it.
Hey guys. When you want the privacy walls back up can you zip those on from the inside or do they have to go on the outside of the screen walls? Same thing with the plastic windows? Can privacy wall be zipped up on interior so you don’t have to go outside?
Hey guys. When you want to put the privacy/rain walls back up over the screen or plastic windows, do you have to go on the outside of the tent to put them up or can you zip them on from the inside of the tent? Thank you!
The privacy walls roll up/down into the upper pouch on the inside of tent. They can be zipped up or down (not taken out as they are permanently attached on the center top) from the inside. So far we have only used screens and have zipped them from the inside. For more information on that we show it pretty close up in the video. From what we have done if screens are in then the plastic windows would have to be done on the outside, if not they may be done from the inside (we think but will confirm next tent use video)
In good weather it takes just a few minutes to deflate, roll up and put away (let’s say 10 minutes). When it’s cold out the tent gets stiff and harder to work with then it will take 15-25 minutes and not roll up as good and hard to get in bag.
@@DirtyJakTheDustyBean Thanks for the reply. Was the piece that connects to the tent the screw in kind? If so, I might have to pick up that pump as it’s just want I’m looking for.
Thank you! We are still unsure which one we like best, lol. Going to get out and use em for awhile and see how they do in various weather conditions and how they hold up over time.
Thank you for asking. We just got a code in the last few days, not sure if it gives a discount or not just yet. We are going to send a message to them and check on it.
You better really be ready to do a lot of camping, if so might just be worth it. If you use it a lot you just might end up saving Money compared to renting hotel rooms, homes, etc.
One trip in it so far and performed very well. Stayed dry in pretty heavy rain (without rainfly on), held heat nicely, easily set up and very spacious. Love how it shows off the outdoors with all the windows.

lol, the tent is a pretty easy to set up and is large enough to almost have a cabin/yurt feel to it. Thanks for watching
Thats pretty Awesome!!! How many Beers did it take to fully set up?? That's the TRUEST measurement of time. lol
It is crazy nice Jay! One shared beer and it was up, lol! Thanks for stopping by!
Coffee made 3 ways, that’s my kinda camping trip! Thanks for the initial review. Can’t wait to catch up on the koala too!!
lol, was a great camping trip! The Koala is what we think we’re going to use more in the colder temps.
Which one do you like better the koala air seven or the octopus.

That would be nice to have more and more options. Hopefully in the future these type of things start happening more.
So the koala 7 has an expansion connector? Can you connect multiple koala’s together?

Thank you! The view through the screens seems about the same to us as the other tents, views out are excellent!
Not sure on the size of the doors.

Wonderful review. Enjoy the tent!
One camping trip with it so far and we loved it.
Can it handle being in heavy snow fall? Will it cave in with snow on it?
We haven’t had this one in heavy snow yet, we hope to this winter.

Kik
We love your dome tent. Enjoy it.
Thank you! We love it! Our next trip may be in the Koala just to change it up a bit, just took a great one in the Dome Inflatable.
Being the way rent and mortgage is so sky-high, I'm ready to buy this and move in. 😂
Funny but not funny at the same time! There’s some truth to it, thanks for stopping by.
Was that the hose that came with the tent? I’ve been trying to use my electric pump with my Panda tent but the connections don’t fit.
It was the hose and connection pieces that came with the electric pump.

@@nunya913no it did not screw in just pushes in and get pretty snug. It stays well just being pushed in while inflating.
Awesome tent review now you can send me your other lol..i love both of them just way out of my range..
Thank you! We are still unsure which one we like best, lol. Going to get out and use em for awhile and see how they do in various weather conditions and how they hold up over time.
Hey guys! Any tips on getting the DirtyJakDustyBean coupon code to work? 😅 trying to buy the Octopus tent as I’m typing this!
Thank you for asking. We just got a code in the last few days, not sure if it gives a discount or not just yet. We are going to send a message to them and check on it.
Yes now your ok thik tarp first , you fixe the tent exacly whit the floor, better than better,
Love the thick floor on this tent!
Cool video!
Thank you!
Great tent very spacious if the reviews are good I may purchase one of these.❤ Enjoyed your video.
First you have to put the spikes before inflating ,it,s mor easy...
Yep we agree, we have inflated the tent a few times and is much easier when we stake it first.
Will bears get into it?
Would guess they could if they wanted to, haven’t had an issue with it so far but only have had one bear somewhat near us (that we know of).
Can you tell me how tall Tina is? Those windows are full height on her
Thanks for stopping by, I am 5’4” and love the tent and height of the windows!
For almost 3,000 that’s very steep
It is an expensive tent for sure. Keep an eye on it and see if it ever goes on a really good sale!
Does the koala7 zip up to this for an add on?
Not that we know of.
2800.00 dollars for a tent...ABSURD...

Prety affordable tbh.
@noknockbluey You guys realize it just a wad of vinyl right!?!?!?
It is expensive for sure, if you’re going a lot then maybe it can be justified in price as it’s sooooo much cheaper than renting a place.
lol, yep just some vinyl and fabric. For our situation it has worked very well as rentals have got so expensive and hard to get.
very good tent
