Hello everyone. First of all, i like to thank you all for your support upon viewing and liking this video, and even subscribing to my channel
I want to get a few things straight
For those who asked why i didn't include road cars like the 205 T16, RCZ R, 504 Coupe, etc, well, i made a separate video just for that. Link is in the description of this video.
Or if you're a lazy person, you can just click here instead
    th-cam.com/video/gtkN-6-K6fQ/w-d-xo.html
And for those who asked why i didn't include other race cars like the WM88, 3008 DKR, etc, well, during the making of this video, i haven't consider making a slowed version of Little Dark Age so i can include more race cars. Matter of fact, i didn't even use the actual Little Dark Age song from MGMT, i instead used a Synth Remix to avoid copyright. Damn you youtube. Put it simply, the song duration isn't long enough for me to include multiple cars.
And for those who said why is Peugeot here despite being a good brand, yes, i agree. Peugeot is still a good brand. In fact, they're a much better brand than they used to be a few years ago.
But i see this "Little Dark Age" trend as a tribute back to their glory days where they used to rule in motorsport and rolled out sport variants for almost their entire line up. Don't get me wrong. Cars like the 208, 308, 508, and 3008 are still good cars. But you don't see GTi, STi, or Rallye variants anymore. Closest you'll get is a 225HP Hybrid of a 308 or a 360HP AWD Hybrid of a 508 PSE, which is ridiculous priced.
Nonetheless, they're still a good brand.
Well, that's all folks. Once again. Thank you for your support
And i hope you have a good day
    Cheers 👋

It was a dark age in French automotive in overall I think - just look at Citroens back then in late 90's (Xsara an picasso line) and Renault throughout nearly whole first decade of XX century and how poor made were their cars (in terms of engineering ofc, I love their timeproof protection from rust)

Not quick, but gorgeous as hell. it was comfortable as a C class of the same generation, it had virtually the same equipment as an E class (automatic wipers, automatic lights, dualzone ac, cruise control, and I can just keep on going). Renault definitely didn't hsve a dark age back then

Peugeot have fallen out of their tracks through the years with their production models but they are getting back. With the 307, 407 and 206 generations they didn't have any sport models. They did have the rcz which people claim it was a banger of a car but the TT was superior and more popular. They are on a good track nowadays. I hope they get back to what made them great. As a French and a Peugeot 207 owner, it breaks my heart to witness our car economy slowly dying and becoming a bunch of EV SUV. Citroën completely fucked after they discontinued the C3 II/C4 II/C5 II (these cars are beautiful imo), but of course I prefer the "X" Citroën (AX BX CX XM Xantia Xsara Saxo ZX etc.), but Citroën isn't the "bad guy" neither as they compete in WRC.
For Renault, I like the Laguna and Mégane (particularly coupés of course) but "Qui roule en Renault revient à vélo" (whom leaves by Renault comes back on a bicycle) :-)
And for Peugeot, they had their downfall with the "7" cars (107 207 307 407, which I love, 607 1007 4007) but they are still impressive. The 308 GTI is a hell of a beast, the 9X8 seems awesome, the 508 also.

if only the oxia would've made production, history would look very different
think about it, peugeot would have the fastest car in the world, depending on on its response we may have seen a continuation of their enthusiast cars
think of it like a honda nsx situation or nissan gtr kinda thing, just food for thought

Could someone explain to me why Peugeot has fallen off so much this past decade? Like I know I can Google it but I want a firm answer by a fellow TH-cam user. I just really love the brand but can’t really go with it, because everyone trashes on it… 💔

Reliability issues. Specifically the 2000-2010s model.
Anything made from 2020s is actually decent.
Anything made from 1980s-1990s is.....well if its unreliable, its forgiven, because its already old

I have a Peugeot 308 mk1 I've been wanting to upgrade to a new one but damn bruv the mk1's front looks like a fighter jet and the newer ones are ones of the most bland npc cars I've seen. The 508 is cool tho

I think peugeots dark age was the 90s-2010 period cause their cars were known as very unreliable. I had one myself and it was more in the repair shop then on the streets. I know many people who had peugeots and always had problems with them. Here in our area the peugeot dealerships closed one by one and were taken over by Renault or other brands. Nowadays they seem to be quiet good tho and also their design looks decent. The last 20 years the cars looked hideous.
