Do yourselves a favor and see these guys live. These guys know how to put on a show and play with insane energy that side-swiped the hell outta the whole venue, including myself. We are witnessing the future here!!!
Saw them live twice (one opening for Dream Theater last year and last night when they opened for Haken). Definitely became a fan after seeing them the first time.
I was jamming this song literally for at least the two-hundredth time today on my way to lunch on a beautiful, sunny day and it dawned on me. The reason these guys never get old is because their music is more than technical, with excellent fusion elements; a lot of bands do that. What makes this band so unique is that their songs just take you on an adventure from start to finish.
I remember talking to Adam (the rhythm guitar player) and their drummer after their gig in Switzerland. They were both down to earth and super friendly. Love it. Needless to say, they played amazing. Too bad I missed half their show :(
It's almost frightening that it took me 2 minutes to tell for sure if it's not just the recording 😄 (not that i would've thought that by any means) Looking forward to hopefully see these guys live one day, although it's just been a month since I discovered them
This is epic! This band is my favorite. We need more Arch Echo tones! Adams, please do more songs or maybe make your own Neural DSP plugin!!! Make it happen Neural!!!
@@BurntMcgurnt I have 2 Axe Fx units and it just isn't the most convenient method to get great tones for recording imo and I am all about convenience and time savings since I don't have much free time these days. I recorded 2 albums with my Axe Fx units and between the tons of menus and manual reamping they take way more time for me than just using a good plugin and some good cab irs. And endlessly tweaking plugins is eaiser for late mix editing imo as well. I can get good tones with the Axe Fx units but for me it takes way too long and I never feel satisfied with it. Also, the artist presets for the Axe Fx that are online always sound bad to me probably because they sound good in their mix and not mine. In a gig circumstance the Axe Fx or my Helix is the way to go. But if Neural makes a decent floor product like the Helix that included their artist plugins and modified them for pedal use I would definitely buy it. I don't like their current floor model because of its design. Maybe you agree with some of these statements or maybe not. To each their own.
I assume that they are using this to record (and it sounds great). Based on what I saw on the rack last night, I think they are using the Axe FX live. Either way, they sounded great.
Adam Bentley is a hooligan of modern prog metal scene - between all those tidy guys in ironed shirts and polished sterile setups..here is a guy, playing without a pickup switch tip cap!! Brings me back to the 80-ies and all those drunk crazy rockers!
I just wonder how all those headless-guitar-guitar-guys came from out of nowhere and where were they before headless-guitars became a thing again since the 80s?? Aprecciate those skills tho
company-wise, strandberg were "first", cutted the head because they could and 'cause they were terrific in terms of ergonomics, for once, guitarists didn't blame them for it, but appreciated the travel-ready, even flying ready guitar case because in the new prog-rock-math-rock-generation you didn't have a rocknroll-ready truck anymore, but space is essential and it's about 15 centimeters you lose with the head - they matter. and exactly those guitarists formed the counter-revolution to plastic pop in the mid 2010s, so, while everyone was playing strandberg, others jumped on that train, kids weren't ashamed or scared of the new designs because "aesthetics" already went into so much variety, so it didn't play a role like it did in the times influenced by the big rock bands like the 90s, now your next door guitarist on instagram is much more important for a lot of people. so, to answer the question; where were the headless-guitar-guys, before headless guitars became a thing again? they were there, at home, in their bands, playing ibanez AZ's or RG's or something other (look at plini's "atlas" playthrough, one of the most known strandberg players today), but they were also there and ready in 2015 til 2017, where the new math-rock-wave emerged, at the same time strandberg went from custom shop to regular production, so... it happened, they didn't came from nowhere, but it clearly influenced itself on both sides...

Is this your master Adam? It sounds a little different from Ermins. Definitely loving it!

Yep. High octane jazz metal. They're incredible.
I can't stop laughing at how ridiculously good these guys are. Love the synthy lines and runs doubled on the guitar. The Adams are fckin beasts
One of the best in the game right now.
Holy shit! Been a long time Arch Echo fan and an Adam Bentley fan because of his mixes. This is fire!! 🔥🔥🔥
What a beast song! Tech, finesse, nuances, dynamics with a great melodic line!
I love this great song and haven't missed a day since it was released. It became my most listened song on Spotify last year🎧
What a massive rhythm tone wow the bass is perfectly blended too!!

Best Neural DSP demo out there 🙌
You guys should have them demo every plugin from here out 🙌

Excellent harmonic movement throughout and very positive/upbeat sounding.
they should cover Adams Song by Blink 182 but plot twist theres no vocals - its 11/7 time sig - drop A# - noone spilled teh cup.
This is seriously their best stuff
