    This case is mighty impressive IMO, only 11L but with modern GPU support & still having great thermals. I hope you will be doing an in-depth series for this case like you did for the NR200. I thoroughly enjoyed that series and they were immensely helpful when I was building my own NR200. I'm now looking to do a 2nd SFF build and looks like this is it! Just pulled the trigger on this case.

    I see you swapped out your ram for some vengeance lpx in the final build? I've just ordered a h20 and I'm up in the air about my AIO. How is the noise from the coolermaster's pump? I was used to using the asetek 645lt in a dan a4 with their gen 6 pump and the whine was a little annoying. The bequiet 240 seems decent with longer pump cables plus the EK basic seems good for noise with the shorter cables like your coolermaster here - whatcha think?

    i am in love with this case, hoping it will come to Indonesia because it ticks all my boxes, kinda relieved I haven't made my new PC yet but wonder how this will compare to the nr200 and the new H1v2

    • @bobbib4627
      @bobbib4627 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think it will beat NR200, since NR200 got much better airflow in it.
      But pretty sure it can beat H1V2, the AIO in H1V2 in smaller and the airlow is not so good just like A4H2O, but the difference might not be so significant.
      and it's ready stock on Enterkomputer, you should get one asap if you haven't!

    • @mikeymaiku
      @mikeymaiku ปีที่แล้ว

      it is, depending on the gpu you might see the 12 pin connector eyesore and custom cables lets you have the card sit without stressing the cable connections. ( stopped paying attention to the nvidia 12 pin issues so things maybe different connector wise)

    I just did a Dan A4 H2O build with 5800X3D and a 7900XTX. I'm finding that in games like Warzone the cooler can't keep up. Is this because the AIO was cheap ($55) or because it's just too much heat? Or both?

    Does the ASUS B660I look like it will fit with an AIO oriented with ouputs on the left? I want to build a SFF but the ITX options for the new intel cards doesn't seem great. Aorus has bios issues, And ASUS is super expensive for their Z board, and cooler compatibility is poor. The ASUS B series board looks like it has more space but IDK how good it is. I saw your last video but I want to run a 12700. I have a K version but I don't care about overclocking much.

  • @TangoOne

    I don't know what it is with ITX builds and the desire to always want to go smaller. I started with a NZXT H210 which can hardly be classified as SFF. I now have a Meshilicious which is an outstanding case but I may end up moving to this A4, it seems to be as small as one would practically want to go.

    • @TangoOne

    Which would you recommend to someone looking to build an SFF gaming PC, the A4-H2O or the Meshlicious, and why?

    • @sentryion3106
      @sentryion3106 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you need more cooling on the cpu then meshilicious since it can house a 280mm aio. Otherwise h2o all the way since it’s smaller and most importantly you don’t need to deal with right angle video output card for the gpu

    • @MachinesMore
      @MachinesMore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The A4-H2O is harder to build, but like Mike mentioned above the right angle display IO is a pain sometimes. Personally I’d recommend the Meshlicious if it’s your first SFF build.

    Also to be clear is there not enough space for fan grills?

    • @MachinesMore
      @MachinesMore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your rad is on the thinner side then maybe. A typical 240 at 27, plus 25-26mm for fans, you have about 2mm there not to mention protruding screws from the center section of the fans, there really isn’t much space for them. Which is why it would be nice if a simple grid were integrated into the rad section.

      I think that nr200 can be air cooled, less pricy, also comes with lower temp and noise overall, plus potential to cool some of the hottest cpu out there, it has more headroom. So I think that it truly depends on if you use your pc just for gaming or you want to use it for stress productivity and future proof

    • @Deathwing2
      @Deathwing2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@frankhu8692 Yea I wouldn't change from my NR200 any time soon. I have 7 fans (including the CPU cooler) in my NR200 and it runs so cool & quiet, and there's plenty of room to upgrade. The only downside right now is that it's not much smaller width & depth wise from a mid-tower, just a whole lot shorter. A sandwich layout is pretty appealing from a space-saving perspective, and I like the sharp, clean lines on the DAN H2O

In the Q58 things are more forgiving with cable management and tubing orientation, and for a beginner or novice, that can make all the difference.

    In reality it's actually 12~ish liters. Lian Li doesn't include feet and sticking out parts on their website

      It’s tight for sure. In that scenario strapping down the cables would be pretty key.

      Pump choice is going to be the crux here. Combo cpu pump block is going too tall so going res-less or a very strategic combo of gpu block and flat pump res may be the way to go.

    why these case just don't optimise a bit more space for a 3.5inch HDD.......M2 SSD is not expensive now but if you want a 8TB or bigger storage...HDD is still the better choice....

      If you need that much storage with an HDD AND you want an SFF case my suggestion would be the NR200. Builds featuring 3.5” drives just aren’t that commonplace nowadays.

    God I hate these flat cables, actual cancer for cable management within mini ITX cases.

      I think the braided cables that come with the Corsair SF platinum PSUs are fantastic.
