i really like how you still doing tutorials after already have all the basics covered. i love to see new tricks that i didnt know existed. keep the great work guys, hoping to see more 5a.
As someone who just learned this trick a few days ago and slowly but surely hitting it more and more I can share a few things that helped me . 1. If your string seems too short after the rip cord , try doing the beginning with your hands ( wrists) closer together . 2. On the string intercept , try to lob the flip slower and intercept the strings earlier than you think you would need to . 3 . And the good ole tension hook flip at the end . Which was kicking my but for tens ( possibly hundreds) of attempts . Make sure you keep the string held back with your thumb on your opposite hand til after the hook is guiding into the gap. Keeping your thumb pinched back during the flip keeps the slack look open . And also the minor throw hand pull ( to the throw hand side ) will accelerate the loop when it comes over your hand to better swing in the direction it needs to . Hope this helps someone in the future . This is an awesome trick but as you seen at the end of the video , it can be tricky.
The Arcade is a bit wider and has a slightly larger diameter. While I consider the Snack a pocket yoyo, the Arcade is a little too large to call it a pocket throw. If you are looking for full sized performance in a small yoyo, go for the Snack. If you are looking for a fun yoyo that is comfortable to use and finger-spins great, go for the Arcade. yoyotricks.com/shop/snack-yoyo/ yoyotricks.com/shop/arcade-yoyo/
I'm confused. What noise do we have to make at the end of the trick? ;) (sincerely, great trick, and I love the clarity, detail and encouraging tone of your tutorials Jake!
In the description it says it's Jake's trick but I see Colin Beckford use it a lot. He substitutes the yuuki slack and the ripcord for a magic drop straight into a brother.
Guys! Why not make a bimetal civility? Also, i wanna do hops that the edge is good for, but i also wanna learn tricks well too! So edge or civility? Also, does the civility have a bit of vibe? In the vid, in the slow motion parts, i see that the yoyo is shaking a bit.
can someone please explain to me why my relatively new Shutter is tilting when it sleeps? It only started doing it when i replaced the bearing, but was fine before.
Im having issues after the ripcord..i know how to get in the last part of it but it seems as if maybe i need to use a longer string to have more room...i watched the video on how long the string should be. but doing this trick seems like its to short
Hey i just wanted to ask why this trick has 2489xp in the app bc it is not a easy trick but like 1000xp is enough, and im confused,if you can comment me it help me a lot
i wanna start 4a and getting a flight. I look up to Ben and does his edition that you sell have his signiture like yoyoexpert because i dont see it on your edition
If you are having any trouble with any of the yoyos you have received from us you will want to contact us through the contact form on our website and we will help you out. yoyotricks.com/contact/
We do not describe anything in our videos as being either right or left handed, we always say dominant or yoyo hand, and then opposite hand. Also, as a left-handed player, you have an advantage when learning from our tutorials, because you can use the screen as a mirror.
sorry five minutes after i commented realized i wasn't using both my forefinger and thumb to hold the string...... it's nice to know you look at comments though!
Which part is the second part? Any time we mention a trick name in the video we have a tutorial for that trick that you can watch which will probably help.
I can't bend my thumb like that without curling my index finger. I can just hold it with a different finger but I didn't find that out until watching this video.
See all our best yoyos, like the Civility Yoyo used in this video:

This is the first new trick I've learned since getting back into yoyoing! Great tutorial! I'm glad to see you guys are still around!
The best Yoyo Channel
I'm really liking these tutorials because they have more tech then the old ones
hey yotricks as years pass by the way you teach us is very very great I understand how your tricks work very cool
Man if my string was that long i would be pounding the floor every throw. You must be quite tall
Wow, how many slacks have got this trick? That's nice.
Finally! A tension slack trick!!!😱
Yoyo is best
Iv tried til I'm blue in face. I cant get the string interception . I know it's something minute, but its driving me crazy!!
Have you guys ever considered a metal sage yoyo, that would be really cool.
EmberFlaze civility is more like a metal sage
Angel Jaimes actually, i believe they've stated in one of their buyers guides that the canon is basically the metal sage
Todd Stemple yes ypu are correct but the civility just looks more like a sage
There already is, the OG yyf Rockstar. The sage is just a rebranded OneStar, and the Rockstar is the metal version. And it is cool
I know most of these elements expect for the tension hook at the end, but I am ready to learn! Thanks for the tut! Perfect level for me
how did you intersect the strings can you tell i cant understand
When is the next kendama tutorial?
Sweet trick! Thanks Jake and team!
Will you be making any more yoyo history videos?
Heeelp! I cant seem to intercept the string in brother slack part....
Love your guys channel!!!!
Eyyyy jake is doing more 1A
Hey yotricks, is the weekly yoyo update comimg out tommorow?
- How long is the String you are using?
I'm getting the replay pro does it come lubed
It does not. We recommend using thin yoyo lube for that yoyo.
The snack yoyo or the arcade ? Which is better ?? They are both about the same width right?
The Arcade is a bit wider and has a slightly larger diameter. While I consider the Snack a pocket yoyo, the Arcade is a little too large to call it a pocket throw. If you are looking for full sized performance in a small yoyo, go for the Snack. If you are looking for a fun yoyo that is comfortable to use and finger-spins great, go for the Arcade.

Love this trick
I have been trying this trick for 3 straight hours. I still can't hit the last element. I keep landing it in a trapeze.
Sounds like ur not getting the correct string into the gap of the yoyo
can someone please explain to me why my relatively new Shutter is tilting when it sleeps? It only started doing it when i replaced the bearing, but was fine before.
is the last element a tension hook or is it different
Nicholas Chung yeah it's a tension hook
Am i the single one who doesn't have a yoyo but still watching yoyo tutorials?
Im having issues after the ripcord..i know how to get in the last part of it but it seems as if maybe i need to use a longer string to have more room...i watched the video on how long the string should be. but doing this trick seems like its to short

I have a very hard time with the hook. I just can't hit it. Any advice?
Besides what's in the video? Unfortunately, no. All the tips we have are detailed here.
yotricks Okay, but what do i do wrong,if I land in a trapeze after the hook?
Memo Are you talking about this trick, or something else?

th-cam.com/video/_HjozwirS44/w-d-xo.html
@@yotricks I already know that trick but i cant get my finger to intersect those strings, before i try that it just falls back to normal

ham dog they arent his tho
this one is, it says in the description. molten core is also.
ham dog woops my bad sorry
love it
I literally cant intersect the strings help me please
That part is tough. Do your best to slow down the motion of that part of the trick by making the motion in a very exaggerated way. See if that helps.
@@yotricks I will try that thanks
@@yotricks I can do it now very well !
Dang, this trick is extra flashy and isn't *too* hard. :D
Sometimes i can do it and sometimes i cant
give us tech some elemets!!!
Teach the turbocharger next

I can't bend my thumb like that without curling my index finger. I can just hold it with a different finger but I didn't find that out until watching this video.

Off topic but does anyone know why jake is bald?

His religion forbids hair

This is the second time today that my trick has been stolen
