I've hunted in the concession adjacent to Arctic Red, but over the border in the Yukon. Chris Widrig's area. Fortunately for me, those hunts were horseback hunts. I couldn't do what you did, backpack hunts. You earned it!!
What a twister and it's even better because you had to work for it! Quality outfitter to let you stay longer, I know a lot who wouldn't. Great sheep numbers as well.

Ya man thanks !!! Ya I am running the Hoodlum and I wish I would have bought it to begin with. If you use a pack like I do, don't waste time and money on some of the other lightweight brands as they are just not built for the abuse.

I have the old Timberline DT2 that I used for 10yrs. then kifaru really took off and had to change the 3 bar sliders to the new k-clip system so i got a newer version of the duplex frame and a stryker pack which is fine for day hunts and packing bear hides off the mountain but I need a bag to replace the timberline. I dont need 10bags for my frame and have been trying to decide between the reckoning and the hoodlum. I am set to hunt the brooks range for dall sheep in 2024 and will need the ability to haul 5-7 days worth of gear then. otherwise, i do 3-5 day elk/deer hunts and the timberline has really been a good size for me and my needs. Thanks for your input

Thanks and there was one old ram there that I maybe should takin but it was on the first hunt day after two days of rain and I hunt for the experience more than killing a ram so I didn’t want my hunt to be over. That’s why I passed on him. All the others were short of 10 years old that’s why they got a pass. Have a great one and thanks for the kind words
People do have differing views on this. My view is Dall’s sheep but each to their own. Either way it doesn’t change the fact I love sheep hunting and have been sheep hunting along time. I don’t care, call them Joshua sheep for all I care. I’ll still hunt them. Cheers.
