I get the joke, but it's sort of weird when they are both Rin. And I don't think Eresh would be insecure about Rin's looks when even Ishtar thinks Rin is pretty hot. Maybe she can take a risk and tell her followers that Quetz pads her chest?
It's kinda interesting. Between Ishtar and Ereshkigal, it seems like Rin's tsundere tendencies got divvied up between them. Ishtar got the bulk of the tsuntsun, while Ereshkigal got the bulk of the deredere.

Yep. But the base Ishtar still has a soft spot for her worshipers. Following that she didn't any force them to replace her as Ereshkigal's prisoner in Kur during the events of "The Descent of Inanna". In fact she continued to ask people who were willing to do so and if they declined she respected their decision. She only lost it when she saw her husband practically celebrating her death.

Strange Fake did a rather good job in telling us her personality and power. Watcher told us that Ishtar's faction is one of the most deadliest even ahead of Gil's faction considered that Gil's faction has at least 50 soldiers while Ishtar only has the master of Humbaba and Humbaba. While Ishtar's personality is good described too. She's arrogant, jumped into enemies' base without a second thought and that's not any enemies' base, it's Alcides's base and magecraft factory. Before she attacked Gil, she just standed on the airship of Prelati(the Mastermind of the war) and to be more surprised, Prelati feared her. This Ishtar is definitely stronger than FGO Ishtar but at the same time, more arrogant and destructive.

Also, to add on what AniNews said, she uses Mana Burst differently from other servants. Mana Burst is just a skill that gives you a surge in power for a short period of time. Most servants have Mana Burst activated immediately. But because of how high her divinity is, she have to concentrate all those magical power into gems, which is also one of the reason why she loves gems. In the game, she has to use the gems and wait for it to be fully absorbed before being able to gain those powers, which answers why you need to wait for a turn before having that attack up effect. It's not because she is Ishtar, but because she is a pseudo-servant, a weaker form of her original.

Ishtar can become Super Ishtar (her words, not mine) for only a certain period of time. She did this during an event in F/GO to destroy the 7 gates, getting similar red markings to what Gil has.
I prefer Ereshkigal backstory as I tend to like characters that suffered but found salvation through someone at the end and her personality is far better than Ishtar's plus she is more expressive, I'm not fond of Ishtar's backstory at all, and yes I like her and I love her power being related with Venus but her personality and the way she does things well not particularly, I like more Astarte over her. I kind of understand why Gilgamesh shooed her away million times

Currently I know 2 Grand Servants, King Hassan or First Hassan i-Sabbah, the Grand Assassin. The other is Super Orion, the Grand Archer. (Still no clue how he is summoned in LB5, since there is no Threat of Humanity at all)
In a cultural/ mythological standpoint, Ishtar became Ashtarte of the Phoenicia then Aphrodite (Aria, Pandemos and one more I don't remember ) of Greece, finally Venus the mother of the mythological founder of Rome, Anieas.

@GammaBoy she didnt kill him she asked her father to put a curse down on enkidu to return to the clay he was before and enkidu was created by the gods. She didn't directly go up to enkidu beat in combat and kill him. And also saying that you can beat enkidu doesnt mean you can beat Gilgamesh, and the reason for that is because the reason they are consider equals is because they are each a haft of a coin, one with ability to destroy the world and the other to put the world back together and described by the fight between enkidu and Gilgamesh that it was like the world was destroyed 7 times but put back together 7 times.

I think the broken gem Ishtar wears is reference to the story where enlil floods the earth and Ishtar wears a lapiz lazuli necklace vowing to not let the earth get flooded again.
And also because she is nerfed and cant use mana burst skill cuz she is too powerful so she needs to store her mana in the gems and then wait for them to fill up for the extra powerup

There's a theory that speculate how Ereshkigal and Istar is not actually sharing Rin's body at the same time, instead, Ishtar possessed main Rin's body while Ereshkigal possessed Fate/Extra timeline's Rin's (real, not the one in the moon cell) body (which is supposed to be F/SN Rin's distant relative/descendant?), hence the blond hair
which is interesting, but it kinda contradicts those scenes where Ereshkigal used Ishtar's body to talk to Fujimaru, but there's still the fact that she can't go out of the underworld, which also complicates things

No no no no, you condense that much mass into that small of a size and shoot it at a mountain you're going to do a lot more than shatter a mountain. More like shatter the earth. She doesn't shoot the actual planet, as that would indeed be an earth-buster.

Meh Have you seen the current Fate/Requiem light novel that just came out at volume 1, or the Fate/Redline in Japan 75 yrs prior. There is also Notes which is a whole nother massive universe. It’s impossibly grand in size and I still haven’t mentioned everything else.

Wait is Ishtar Rin? Or is Rin a descendant? Or is Ishtar a divine servant version of Rin like how Archer is Shirou?
We could say that Ishtar was merged with Rin. Gods need be merged with a compatible human vessel to be summoned as pseudo-servants and the Ishtar vessel was created from Rin's soul. Ishtar is the dominant personality but at least 30% of her traits come from Rin, and that overrides the goddess flaws (100% Ishtar is a heartless b*tch, with Rin is just a greedy goddess)
What drew to this vid is the fact that Ishtar looks like Rin Tohsaka . Pigtail ribbons and everything .

I'm vouching for Ereshkigal. She is, without a doubt, the best Rin face.
Most people like Ishtar for her character design, which is fine and all, but it's a really overused reason for liking her in the first place.
Eresh is honestly my favorite between the two because she's so pure, which adds to her charm. It sucks that she did not get much spotlight along King Hassan, but I'll get what I'll get. Eresh has a sense of devotion and duty as the Goddess of the Underworld, whereas Ishtar was spoiled throughout her life, always throwing tantrums whenever she does not get what she wants. She prioritizes her own values before others' opinions.
Of course, this is my opinion, but I will always be loyal to best Rin face, Ereshkigal.
Now, obviously, the original Rin face, Tohsaka Rin, will always be the superior between Rin, Ishtar and Ereshkigal for sure.
