apparently put the mat in the freezer and it will then fall out if frozen when you twist the mat, if you send the mat that would seem pointless. The herbalists pay $120+ kg for propolis in Australia but they like it dried, freezing will dry it some too. I have some mats on the way keen to try thanks for the video, cheers

Did I hear that right? You mail the propolised mats to someone else to clean up & they send them back with a check for you propolis?
As for that inner cover with all the connecting comb you showed towards the end.... if there is too much space there which causes them to do that why is it made like that? It looks like you could just use a flat board and eliminate the problem. Thanks.

How many kg of propolis do you harvest per mat on average?

In Australia nobody uses that top mat separator board, are you saying put the mat on top others say put it on the floor but that dont make sense as would harbor beetle and wax moth and catch all the rubish the bees drop degrading the propolis. One other thing with propolis is it apparently has the highest concentration of man made environmental toxins like ag chemicals and poisons and in NZ's case 1080...!!!

Hi Trevor, could you, please , tell us what Ecrotek means with this : " Some beekeepers find they only harvest about 50 - 150g in a season, but using special procedures and a collection mat this can increase to 1kg or more ". What are these "special procedures " ? Thank you for your videos. Gabe
