Hey Jesus - thanks so much for posting this. Got it done the first time thanks to your walkthrough. - Nissan said they charge $67.50 for labor (the bulb at Nissan was $3.10) so NO WAY did I have that kind of money to give them.

I remember when I'm posted this video I did it for that very same reason because Nissan wanted to charge me an arm and a leg so I actually went online because I couldn't find anything at the time on TH-cam and that's why I decided to go ahead and make this video. Tom F I can see why they do though. I recently changed a bulb and it was a pain in the ASS to get those screws out! I want to change the reverse lights to LED but I can't go through that again

Brought my brand new Tacoma to dealership for routine maintenance and oil change. The mechinic advised me there was some corrosion on battery terminal post. I thought he was going to tell me he brushed it off. No, he wanted to charge me! I laughed and said I paid over $25,000 for the truck less than a year ago, and you couldn't do that for free. Thanks for helping me change light assembly (cracked) on wife's nissan. Dealership quoted me over $200.00. Got the light on ebay ($59.95) and did it my self.

Same thing happened to me, some bonehead backed into my 2009 Altima Hybrid while I was Christmas Shopping - No Note Left . (Merry Christmas) Found a new one on Amazon for $60 - Now it's time to replace it. Looks easy enough. Thanks for the tip

Good suggestion while all that is open is get a can Of Rust Cheque and sprayunder the carpet a light coating as it will rust badly when the car gets older and the nuts will be harder too remove.

Please just note one extra thing. Don't touch the replacement bulbs glass with your bare fingers, as the the oil from your fingers can damage the bulbs once heated up. It could effect it's overall life-cycle. Otherwise, great video.

8mm on the bolts. Tip: I bought the more expensive / longer life bulb since the whole housing needs to be removed.
