Master chief was part of the Spartan IIs, which were the first Spartans. Most of the other Spartans IIs died on Reach. Escaping Reach, John 117 (Master Chief) was the only Spartan that wasn't MIA (Missing in action (They never officially classified a Spartan as KIA or "Killed In Action" to create the illusion that Spartans never die)). Noble Team mainly consisted of Spartan IIIs, which were created after the Spartan IIs. They also fought on Reach.

@bryanfaffers Thanks for the constructive criticism. I tried de-focusing the stuff in the background but I guess it wasn't enough. The shots could definitely use more work though. I taught myself After Effects while making this trailer, so this was my first attempt at compositing. I hope to get real compositors and VFX artists for the actual film.
Looks great but tiny critique, the opening shot could do with a little more depth, notice how the mountains fade into the distance, a touch of that on the ships/smoke could do it wonders.
Movie looks epic please make it. Brilliant armor by the way! With the authenticnes of the story not many Spartans knew about the other Spartan project so depends if the Spartan is telling the story and which Spartan! Again cant wait for it come out :D!!
Noble Team definitely wasn't the first to fight the convenant. In 2531 and you have Red Team stationed on the UNSC Spirit of Fire already fighting them in Halo Wars. And I'm pretty sure they weren't the first ones since the war started a good 6 years before that.
@GrifKilla97 Unfortunately, I believe using the sounds from the game goes against Microsoft's game content usage rules. I couldn't find the rules specifically for Halo, so I tried to recreate similar sounds using various layered SFX.

Unfortunately I made the decision to cancel the project due to lack of resources, funds, crew, etc. Maybe someday I'll revisit a Halo film. For now, I'm focusing on other projects.

A few thousand years later, the Spartan II program initiated with about 70-something kids. About half of them survived bio augmentations and were released in the beginning of the Human-Covie war. Among them: Master Chief Petty Officer John 117. Noble Team was made of 5 Spartan IIIs (Which were made AFTER Master Chief was fighting) and 1 Spartan II (George)

Reach was thought to be destroyed and the chief left with the pillar of autumn. then he went into cryo sleep and they woke him later.
