He knew you were in there. I had a guy standing at the light, staring daggers at me and my instinct told me to lock the door. He acted like he was crossing the street, then quickly diverted and grabbed my door handle. He was a white male with dead eyes. Once he failed, his whole posture immediately changed into a "poor beggar looking for pocket change." I drove off when the light changed. From that day on, my doors are locked before the door closes! So glad you are ok!!!
My uncle was a deputy sheriff. He said the best thing you can do is hit the panic alarm on your key fob. I sleep with my keys by my bed if I hear anything at night.
She doesn't have to get a huge dog, just one that can alert her to danger. My chihuahua can hear a whisper 2 miles away. She's the watchdog for our house at night. It's up to her to maintain the cleanliness of the dog. The Lord protected you that day. That dude was a demon.

It was supposed to happen that way because you were able to experience the Holy Sprit alerting you and prompting you. He has never failed me. He never leaves us or forsake us! So glad Nomi listened and responded to his unction. Hey Noami, I don't normally comment on videos; but I wanted to let you know that you probably did lock the doors. There is a gadget (idk what it's called) that can unlock electric locks. I heard about it from my mom (she saw another van lifer fall victim to it- thank God they weren't hurt). You should make locking the deadbolts to your driver and passenger doors a part of your routine. You should also look into deadbolting the sliding door (if they don't already come with it) since they're also electrical. Don't beat yourself up over this incident, you did the right things in listening to the Holy Spirit and acting fast. I hope my comment helps! I've heard about that device, too. They say not to leave your keys near your door as you walk in, if your car has a remote entry. This device can read your signal, and they can break into your car. I take my car key to bed. Car alarm is a great thing if you find yourself in trouble at night and need help.

So glad it all turned out ok. Some advice: have pepper spray handy in several areas, wasp spray is another deterrent. Shoots out 20 ft. Crazy times, but I’d get a handgun and learn how to shoot it. A dog is another deterrent. You have to protect yourself! Stay safe!

That is so scary! Please be safe. The same thing happened to my niece and her husband when they were camping in a van in the WaMart parking lot. There was someone trying to open the doors and bang on the van. There are so many crazy people in this world.

I am in the logistics industry and we always send out company wide warnings about theft and break ins over holiday weekends. There is the assumption that the “cargo” is left unattended. Your van gives the impression that there is something inside worth stealing. An angel was watching over you. Luckily you and your van are safe and you will never break character again. Came down and told her a man was watching her and pointed her out to him, so he came to WARN her that "Some guy" was watching her. He returned a second time like an hour later to talk to her again. He basically warned her of what his plan was for her if she stayed. She followed her gut and left too. That is terrifying.

Watching enough murder shows that was actually a scenario on one of them were the murderer actually will insert themselves as possibly a witness or I saw some thing they come forward I saw some thing when it’s really them. You should be locking ALL doors even when you’re driving ! I’m in Canada & when I’m out & about, I ALWAYS lock all my doors. This way it becomes a habit that you do automatically. Hope you hear me on this advice & do it . Be safe!🙏🏼👍🏼

You have a safe routine, when you broke that routine cuz you were distracted, your brain subconsciously knew thus, your brain knew you shouldn't go to sleep and so you got up. Likewise, that dude probably knew that parking lot from his bad habits & routines.. and his brain told him subconsciously there was a possible opportunity with that vehicle. Philly: You should check into alarm system for vans like they do cars that headlight flash/horn blaring loudly/hubcaps/steering wheel etc lock while blurring. You should check into that.

I'm on OTR long haul truck driver, and I have been broke in on once , a long time ago, but God protected me also. GOD is so Great. I would find a better way of protecting myself, a gun, pepper spray, a tazer, and definitely wasp spray. So glad you are okay. So grateful God protected you.
Also, never trust a light on your dash, they do tend to malfunction (go out). Do a physical check every time of all doors to make sure they’re locked. 👍🏽

This is why I love motored RVs compared to fifth wheels, etc. Can you imagine having this happen in a fifth wheel? You would have to jump out, attach to your truck, etc. Glad you're ok Nomi. A guardian angel was with you and got you up.

I hope you had something for him too! Glad you're OK. Look into a ring camera so you are alerted when someone is near. It might be annoying when you're parked by others, but you can always snooze the motion. You'll know when you're away from the van as well. It also has a loud siren that you sound off, to scare someone away.

That’s right they do ! I always travel with my dog, and mace, knives along with other items. Be ready to use them, that’s the secret .

That is so scary! Please be safe. The same thing happened to my niece and her husband when they were camping in a van in the WaMart parking lot. There was someone trying to open the doors and bang on the van. There are so many crazy people in this world.
It's important to share these stories so others like you who are out there can always be vigilant and prepared because you never know when things can happen. Predators know who they target and are waiting for any slip ups

I am in the logistics industry and we always send out company wide warnings about theft and break ins over holiday weekends. There is the assumption that the “cargo” is left unattended. Your van gives the impression that there is something inside worth stealing.

Glad you are okay😢 Something similar happened to Alyssa Vanilla on her channel. A man stalked her out from up on a mountain. Came down and told her a man was watching her and pointed her out to him, so he came to WARN her that "Some guy" was watching her. He returned a second time like an hour later to talk to her again. He basically warned her of what his plan was for her if she stayed. She followed her gut and left too. That is terrifying.
I feel like that guy has done that before, he has serial killer written all over him. So scary, thank goodness she left.

You should be locking ALL doors even when you’re driving ! I’m in Canada & when I’m out & about, I ALWAYS lock all my doors. This way it becomes a habit that you do automatically. Hope you hear me on this advice & do it .

You have a safe routine, when you broke that routine cuz you were distracted, your brain subconsciously knew
thus, your brain knew you shouldn't go to sleep and so you got up.
Likewise, that dude probably knew that parking lot from his bad habits & routines.. and his brain told him subconsciously there was a possible opportunity with that vehicle.
Repetition is the Mother of skill and that's why you were quick on your feet.

This country in particular,is rife w/inequities and political corruption. There are people who should be housed in monitored quarters and unfortunately are being left unattended. You and many others are being subjected to irrational behavior due to these existing elements. always have some form of personal protection with you be it a hand gun, fully loaded, or a large bowie knife. Be prepared to use either weapon on the attacker, do not be worried about killing the criminal, he/she deserves what they get.
Please dont be so hard on yourself. Its easy to become comfortable and complacent when people get into a routine. It is a valuable lesson and I'm so happy that you listened to your gut!
That dude's adrenaline was probably going knowing he was fixing to break into your vehicle. That's probably why he didn't hear you hit that lock. Damn girl, that is mega scary! I'm on OTR long haul truck driver, and I have been broke in on once , a long time ago, but God protected me also. GOD is so Great. I would find a better way of protecting myself, a gun, pepper spray, a tazer, and definitely wasp spray. So glad you are okay. So grateful God protected you.
Also, never trust a light on your dash, they do tend to malfunction (go out). Do a physical check every time of all doors to make sure they’re locked. 👍🏽

This is why I love motored RVs compared to fifth wheels, etc. Can you imagine having this happen in a fifth wheel? You would have to jump out, attach to your truck, etc. Glad you're ok Nomi. A guardian angel was with you and got you up.

I hope you had something for him too! Glad you're OK. Look into a ring camera so you are alerted when someone is near. It might be annoying when you're parked by others, but you can always snooze the motion. You'll know when you're away from the van as well. It also has a loud siren that you sound off, to scare someone away.

The fact that he walked all the way around your van instead of trying to open the first doors he came to instead of your driver’s door., too. 🙀 God definitely was protecting you.
