Lovely relaxing build that. I can just picture some XC riders on them by me in Norway. The hill I live on is a haven for road bikers, but I'd love to hear that build freewheeling past my house on a Sunday morning.
@@GeeMilner You know what? I would keep whatever spec that builder gave me as he looks like he knows exactly what he's doing. Maybe just a loud Chris King rear cassette to annoy the roadies when you're whizzing past them!
@@MartinvonBargenit’s the stock build. The full bike only comes in one configuration and that’s exactly the parts list. I dunno why this is a “dream build” when it’s simply the factory build?
Hello Gee! Good to write to you again, after "trying to give you a coronary" with my last comment about the BMC build...Sorry... When we've spoken in the past I told you I was calmly gathering what I needed, to build my own Specialized Epic 8 in 2025. And you told me that I would love it, as you thought it to be the best all rounder mtb there is nowadays. I kind of went in a different direction...but just as good, if not better, than the Epic 8. So I leave you with this suggestion: I just bought, yesterday, my very last frame - the Wilier Urta Max SLR. The last bike I'll build. The blue 120mm/120mm frame with wich the Wilier Pirelli XC team competed in the UCI XC World Cup. And it is gorgeous! Would you give us the honour of someday building one such Urta, filled with all your impecable taste and attention to the tiniest of details? I hope you'll consider it. As always I wish you all the best, from Coimbra, Portugal. Cheers!
LG Marvin
headset cable routing is the worst nightmare i could ever imagine. so much pain in the ass and the cables are still hanging there. not worth the effort but the bike and build up is great as usual.

Firstly, love a Pinnarello. Secondly the small ratchet when installing rear shock... incredible. I've never seen anything like it. ❤
Very cool isn't it?!

It's a super fast XC machine thats for sure! Would you change the spec anyway?

The Italians always make such beautiful frames.
The frame is definitely focussed on racing thats for sure!
That's not a bike that is a piece of art
What was your favourite part of it?

Bonjour
C est le plus beau velo de xc du moment tout simplement magnifique !!!!!
Félicitations....
14:16 Now that was a tease...Front tyre not lined up with logo.
Only to be spot on at the end :D
Wow what a gorgeous bike
It really is! Would you change anything?
@@GeeMilner no nothing it’s perfect
WOW! Looks like a fast bike. Great components and a happy user for sure.
Raffle tickets purchased!
Thanks for always supporting what we do, I wish you the best of luck!
Great build. But a bit pointless using that jig. Looked more hassle than a regular bike stand.
Fair enough! I guess each mechanic has their own personal preference?

I dont understand why the dropper post on those bike are so short
@Gee Milner What is the total weight of this bike build?
We didn't weigh it! Sorry
It’s about 23lbs. That’s the factory parts list and Pinarello has it listed. My large weighed about 23.5lbs with pedals
Good
Which part was your favourite?
just curious, why the sram derailleur with shimano brakes and levers?
Because thats the best of both worlds?
Nice dream
Would you change it>

Thanks for watching!
How much does the bike weigh?
I’m still hoping for a Pidcock replica.
Suntour and Berd?
@@GeeMilner Princton, Suntour, Berd, Vertical, Continental, XTR, `Play Your Cards´-design frame with the hole for the TACT unit.....just dreaming :-)
What’s the name of the handlebar ?
It's MOST, made by Pinarello for this exact bike!
A piece of pinarello

Asymmetric chain stays, just ugly
They certainly have their purpose though, race focussed bike design.
