Between the gov's admissions of the tech's existence/use, many patents, satellite image anomalies as well as type and movement of craft before/during events, it's amazing people can discount the reality that it happens.
The truth maybe in the middle on this one. We've had seeding tech for nearly a century, but making a full hurricane from scratch seems a bit beyond our grasp. Intensifying one or altering its path slightly? That I could see.

On a positive note, before Debbie, Helene, and Milton we had a nasty crop killing drought drought in the Norrh Central Florida scrubland. My food storage from stunted or failed growth is pretty skimpy this fall but the winter garden should thrive now. Truth is that we need these hurricanes 🌀 to produce food.
the drought last summer put Iowa one rainfall away from total crop loss. Abrupt global warming is gonna hit hard real fast and it is accelerating. The major rivers on Earth are already at record lows and drying up. Some places are getting flash flooding and hurricanes while other places are raging on fire with drought.
These hurricanes also stirs up stagnant water in the areas like the everglades and brings life back in these area which is great for the wildlife, they clean up our mangrove swamps as well. nature knows what' she is doing she has been doing it for billions of years

Hey Max - thanks again for your excellent coverage during hurricane Milton. Is there any preliminary forcasting for winter in the midwest this year?? I was in Boca Raton during the hurricane, but made it back home to Chicago yesterday. It was in the 80's last night and has dropped down to the 60's today, where it will remain during daytime hours and 40's in the evening for the rest of the week. This seems really early for this dramatic a cooldown in the midwest. We've had some relatively mild winters the past 2-3 years, but I'm wondering if we're going to see severe winter weather this year. My sister lives in Lake Tomahawk, WI & they barely had snow last year....not that we want a lot of snow.
Meanwhile in Nebraska...2 months of no rain, just send that storm this way please and thank you! I feel for the south last thing they need is more chaotic storms....
Totally off topic but I figured you'd be interested in this Max. There's a simulator available called WS4000. It mimics the old early 2000's Weather on the 8's from the Weather Channel. That damn simulator had more useful info compiled from the Natl. Weather Service and observation stations than today's Weather Channel actually had during Milton. Told me actual lat. long. postion of the storm, it's movement speed and a direction not just in compass (N,NE,NW etc.) but degrees of movement. i.e. it was at one point moving at 40 degrees North Northeast when leaving the loop current. It's a novelty at this point due to its age and the lack of radar functionality, but it's fun to play with and I was SHOCKED at the info the alerts gave in comparison to the shallow level of detail from today's 'Weather' Channel.
How is it "well deserved"? All he does is make up fearful stories about storms that aren't even formed yet with clickbait thumbnails. You people eat it up, it's crazy

If it wasn't for your LIVE I wouldn't have known to shelter in place in my safe room with the tornadoes right before Milton on the east coast. Cus they dropped all around me. Hey Max - thanks again for your excellent coverage during hurricane Milton. Is there any preliminary forcasting for winter in the midwest this year??
I was in Boca Raton during the hurricane, but made it back home to Chicago yesterday. It was in the 80's last night and has dropped down to the 60's today, where it will remain during daytime hours and 40's in the evening for the rest of the week. This seems really early for this dramatic a cooldown in the midwest. We've had some relatively mild winters the past 2-3 years, but I'm wondering if we're going to see severe winter weather this year. My sister lives in Lake Tomahawk, WI & they barely had snow last year....not that we want a lot of snow.

Totally off topic but I figured you'd be interested in this Max. There's a simulator available called WS4000. It mimics the old early 2000's Weather on the 8's from the Weather Channel. That damn simulator had more useful info compiled from the Natl. Weather Service and observation stations than today's Weather Channel actually had during Milton. Told me actual lat. long. postion of the storm, it's movement speed and a direction not just in compass (N,NE,NW etc.) but degrees of movement. i.e. it was at one point moving at 40 degrees North Northeast when leaving the loop current. It's a novelty at this point due to its age and the lack of radar functionality, but it's fun to play with and I was SHOCKED at the info the alerts gave in comparison to the shallow level of detail from today's 'Weather' Channel.
I remember stumbling across this channel and being under 100k .. well deserved

I have a question nobody has answered since when did hurricanes start forming in the gulf we were taught up to 95 that they came from Africa
the pattern of hurricane formation is rapidly changing because of global warming
@nicejungle If global warming isn't a factor then what would cause that we have 40 degree weather in SC this morning haven't had this cool temp in 10 to 12 years this early anyway
