Any difference on the 2018 printing? Yours ends with 17 and mine with 18? Ordered it through the link you offered in calfskin. Just wondering if there’s any specific difference. Thanks!
I contacted Lockman Foundation about this a few months ago to ensure that there had been no changes and I was told that nothing had changed since the 2017 printing. Also, the link I provide is for the latest edition of that ISBN and since Lockman doesn't change their ISBN between printings, then all of the various printings of this layout with a calfskin cover will have the same ISBN. At the moment, most places selling through the Amazon link will have intermixed printings with the latest paper and cover, which would include 2017 and newer. You should need to worry, all the same.
I recently bought the 2017 genuine leather version of this Bible and am really enjoying the SCR verse by verse layout. If I want to get the same format with less ghosting and better leather, what are my options?
In talking of the spine, you said you prefer the Smyth-sewn spine like on the genuine leather bibles. Is this one still sturdy and holding together well?
Nice review Beau. Pls is this bible sewn or glued? I read a review somewhere that this single column reference and the NASB large print ultrathin are glued together not sewn.
This is my favorite translation and favorite format. The 2017 paper looks a lot better than my 2013. This is the next Bible on my list. Thanks for the review.
I love the leather imperfections. It dose mean that the leather is going to be strong ( a bit thicker) They haven’t cut the leather down to get rid of the blemishes. Besides it adds character. Great review. Blessings
I recently acquired a used copy of this in a hard back edition that I think was printed in 2011. Do you have any insight to offer on this timeframe? There's some significant ghosting but I don't know if this is better or worse than the infamous 2013 printing. For the most part ghosting just doesn't bother me all that much as I made my peace with that 20 years ago when I got my first ultrathin Bible. I just expect it to some degree. Thanks so much for your great videos. God bless! Also, could you comment on the durability of the genuine leather as opposed to the calfskin? I like edge-lined, but I'm curious as to whether or not in this case the paste-down is the better option.
Cheaper for me to buy a Allens bible. Without the ghosting problem. To get this in Australia would be over $200 Aus. Just can't get a good NASB bible here at a reasonable price. It's a shame as its one of my favourite. I'm using a 20 year old 4th edition NASB Thompson chain that was given to me. Thanks for the review. Think I'll be saving for a Allens NASB.
If it were me, I would go with the Personal Size Quentel over the Allan's Readers Edition, although they're both great. I like the gilding and yapp on the Allans but I think the Quentel's layout is one of the best layouts I've ever seen on a bible. Probably *the* best, actually.
Mark Santostefano, it was sent to me from Foundation Publications to review. If you purchase from www.evangelicalbible.com , all of their SCR stock is now of the 2017 printing.
I have this In zondervan premier and regular leather in single column and is ONE of 2 SCT I like. Other is NKJV IN NELSON PREMIER.
8:40 I wish at list they gave us options for better paper i would have paid extra $50-70 as for i am returning mine due to ghosting
I prefer zondervan over foundation for any nasb bible.

Beau Tate Thank you!
The 2002 SCR has black and white maps.

This is great news! I just wish Lockman would put their seconds page back up. Unless I just missed it?
Nope .. found it .. www.americanbiblesales.com/mainmenu/mainmenu.php?mm=10&tm=1

It's definitely sewn
Is “publication” year the same as “printing “ year?
No
Beau Tate how can I find out if the link you have is actually 2017 print?

For some reason, I like the amount of lettering on the spine. It's a weird preference I know.

What about the Quentel personal size NASB in the calfskin? That's a fairly reasonable price.
have been looking at them as well,

Allen doesn't make a NASB without bad ghosting IMO, though the new edition coming this fall or winter will be using better paper.
Owned it and sold it. Font to small
As this got the blue paper?
I have a genuine leather one and the paper is blueish is it on that one ?
Have you come across any kjv bibles with his format? I love the references to the side, single column, and room for a few notes.
By far my favorite Bible layout.
This looks much better the my Allan version.
is the paper blue in the calfskin like in the genuine leather edition?
Beau, do you know when the 2017 NASB update is due out?
Andrew Clover postponed to 2018
Jordan Woods D'oh!
Jesus Saves yes, printed editions likely not until 2019.
Jesus Saves for any premium editions anyway
Wow, that looks nice! And it's a NASB!
Is this the one on sale on amazon now?
Thank you for getting back to me!
I love the layout of this Bible.
I like to purchase this scr wm Bible.
Where did you purchase this?
Mark Santostefano, it was sent to me from Foundation Publications to review. If you purchase from www.evangelicalbible.com , all of their SCR stock is now of the 2017 printing.
Enjoyed the review. Where can we get one of those, the 2017 printing?
What is the price of the Bible, how can I order it?
I wish they would line match these. How hard is it to do? Crossway does that with so many Bibles. Not a fan of Foundation Pub.
Francisco Guerrero, if they line matched, it would do wonders for the distraction of the ghosting.
Neil D yea the csb their bibles are really good for cost I noticed that too!
Where can you buy this printing?
Connor Kennedy I will add a link to the description tomorrow so please check back. It will be a link directly to Foundation Publications website.
