Wayne was groundbreaking.I was a young musician and new Christian straight out of the night club scene, not knowing where to fit into the church.The Christian music world was rather odd and not at all like where I came from, and not many artists that I resonated with.But then I heard this guy named Wayne Watson that was clean cut singing these ballads on one hand, and the other hand cranking out some pretty heavy rock tunes that were well written and produced.Wayne, if yer listening thank you for guiding me through my early christian life it's so good to revisit your music and to see you still faithfully serving our Lord.
This man’s music was so instrumental in my life as a young Christian having kids and reassessing what was important went to many of his concerts turning away from secular concerts focusing on my relationship with Christ and my new family 40 + years later and my kids are all grown now and morally grounded thank you sir for your ministry.water colored ponys

Saw Wayne live in NYC Lams Theatre, His voice is truly a gift from God. I put his voice up with anyone.

I have followed Wayne since his first song was released. One of my favorites....
Me alike. Saw him in Columbus, Ohio in 1990, maybe. Somewhere in there! True to YAHWEH! I love how he sings hymns! Chris Tomlin does also !
I will have to watch all of this when I have more time. WW's music was a huge influence on me when I first got saved. I've never seen him, other than the album covers!

I heard him live in Santa Rosa in the mid '80's. His voice is amazing and the songs he writes and sings have a depth that others just don't possess. "Turning into Dad" was one of the three songs I put on a memorial program when my dad died in 2007. Wayne is a gift to the church and to strengthen all our faith.

Wayne came to mind earlier today and I asked Siri to play his music. That ended up with me watching this video later in the day. Our spiritual journeys sound remarkably similar. To top it off, my wife and I are raising our young grandson in our late 50’s. The years have not always been kind but God has been merciful. I am thankful for artists like Wayne who were responsible for strengthening my faith in my early teens as I wore out those old records and tapes. It helped prepare me for the harder years. I’ve been broken often along the way but never did I give up the faith. The last song gave me great comfort in knowing the blood of Jesus rescues us all. Thanks for recording this.
