Tip: The brake shoe will have a long pad on one shoe and a short one on the other shoe. The short one always goes in front. Also put a little grease on the backing plate pads where the shoe slides against. Just a little
Thanks for making these videos, and especially sharing your shoe placement error. I rebuilt mine and made the same mistake and have been driving myself crazy trying to figure out why the parking brake wasn't adjusting correctly until I recognized the error. I swapped the shoes around and finally got it all working!
