Communication with your partner is key through this process, however, it is important that you prioritize YOUR feelings at this time. If your goal is to reconcile the relationship, it is important that you both attempt to have respectful and productive conversations to get to the root of the infidelity. Keep in mind, your partner has to be willing to participate and do the work. If they are not willing, I recommend taking some time for yourself and creating some space between you two. The sole reason my almost girlfriend stopped dating me, is that my sister's friend was in the city and I let her stay at my and my sister's place and showed her the city without any flirtatious intension, but also without my sister accompany us. My almost girlfriend was also upset that I told her about the visitor just 2 days before that friend arrived.

The problem is the lies i was told once the affair was recovered. I don't believe most thing's he's saying. Trust is just gone. I fear if he does it now that we're separated again.
The first step does it mean when i almost died stayed 5 days in hospital trying to figure out why to have a life saving surgery and 4 bags of blood transfusion which left you physically unable to do the same life with a long healing process, make me responsible for a change out of my hands. Remained supportive and loving towards my spouse, and they have the affair.

I think it is far better to advise someone to take responsibility for THEIR words and THEIR behaviors in the marriage. That's what being an adult is. Sure you had a hand in the reasons your spouse was unhappy, and you should own that. But you NEVER take responsibility for another adult's words or behaviors. No. The unfaithful takes 100% responsibility. If they don't then they are unsafe and it is very unwise to attempt to rebuild your marriage.

How can I trust him and forgive when this person will be involved in our lives because a child is now a part of our lives. Someone blackmailed my partner for some time. I found her recording there she was talking to that guy nicely. Later I found some point that he was blackmailing her. Just bcoz she was talking to him nicely I created my own imagination and not trusting her properly.I want to trust her as I used to do but this recording hold me back to imagine wrong about her. I want to forget the recording even she told me that she was nice to him bcoz he threatened her. I want to trust her but I Can't trust her 100%. The recording won't get out from my mind. I’m just a complete mess. 2021 was arguably the worst year of my life losing two immediate family members & having health issues myself. I could see the writing on the wall & knew something was terribly wrong & found out my wife was having a emotional affair with another man online. It hurts bc it blame myself bc I wasn’t there bc of the deep depression I was in with grieving for my two family members. She wants to work things out but I am so hurt by this I don’t even know where to start…

My grandpa got cancer and passed, i got very sick right after Christmas/new year, I also had my hours at work reduced due to economic turmoil. I discovered my partner sexting people online and talking of meeting up. He never went physical with it but I am broken inside. Have you been able to recover and if so how did you do it?
