I like to watch your video's when I'm alone in my room, my sanctuary, my cocoon. I'm not a sad egg at all but I'm a sensitive egg, and your video's are like a warm bath to me. The way you speak is so uncommon but so familiar, you sound like you come from the same dimension as my thoughts, except you're always serene. You make so much sense to me
just found your chanel by accident. this was my first exposure to you, and while not a conventional drawing video I have to say Im intrigued. You have obviously allowed your work to go out into the wild and it has returned to you many times over in these gifts, suggestions and gifts of free tools. For whatever reason, the evidence of such sentiments has me feeling warm and fuzzy as an artist. Thanks for sharing. I needed this, i guess. So, kudos! Cheers!
I'm on a Peter Draws binge. Still very much appreciated in 2020. Peter you have such a sweet soul. So kind and considerate what is lacking in today's world.
"I've had some bad experiences with roseart. Treat yourself to Crayola" That's a good rule of thumb for beginners. Dixon Ticonderoga are a good cheap pencil. Especially Dixon Ticonderoga black (better eraser) If you go toooo cheap and get those terrible papermate or noname pencils, they'll break so much it's not worth your money. Papermate does make some cool pens these days though but their mechanical pencils and wooden pencils usually pretty crappy. I could go on for hours about different brands lol. I'm an art dweeb
Hey Peter !... new subscriber. Binging back through your older episodes. This is one of the weirder but also inspiring and wholesome things I didn't even know I needed in my life right now. I don't know why or how you do whatever that weird thing is you do so well.. but please keep doing it. I've long wanted to get into drawing and experimented with many different avenues to try to fight my way into it, and still have not found my niche. I'm hoping your confidence to "go with the flow" and "be weird" and just "do what comes naturally" will rub off on me.
*DING DING DING* We have a winner! You can see the context of the word in the sentence if you look closely ... "ivory on ecru on beige" ... it's a metaphor for something very blah. :) However, I cannot remember the rest of the sentence as I have slept since then.
After years of close examination, I have found Peter's secret to amazing art. To make such master class art drawings you WILL NEED the items as fallows: - Anything to draw lines upon.(ex. #1- paper, etc...) - Anything that will allow you to create the lines you wish to draw. (ex.#2- pen/pencil/stick, etc...)
I died laughing when I saw Peter put his new sketch book under the water, TO WASH THE WASHABLE MARKERS! Peter i am certainly smitten by you, so awesome to watch you on the daily. Thank you for all the smiles! And yes, that's gonna be a big ostrich!
This was like Christmas! I loved how you discovered each gift and gave it due appreciation. My son also when he used to draw , was uncomfortable with color. Me? I can draw sophisticated art with crayons!! I love you Peter and thanks for sharing once again.
Since i saw my first video by Peter Draws (him going through his full sketchbook) i have only one dream: To be able to draw like him. Im addicted to his art style, its so damn great
I think pomegranate is one of the least appreciated fruit flavors. Its delicious. I know I'm a bit late, but thanks for another chill half an hour, Peter. Have a good one, Internet Buddy. :)
That word is ECRU. My favorite drawing pen is the pilot G2, the ink lasts for along time and I never have a problem with flow or extra clumpy ink, they don't cost that much and produce great results.
I don't think it's so much about cheap vs expensive art supplies, but about affordability and quality of supplies. I've had some dollar store pens that were surprisingly good and items from Micheal's that cost more but were crap. I agree with you about Rose art supplies. Anything I've ever tried from them were a complete waste of money and time. I love these unboxing videos almost as much as the drawing ones.
Hey, Peter! Have been following and watching you for a while and now I may just play your vids and listen to you ramble because hearing you talk is calming. Hope it's fine that your actual drawing is not my main interest in your work. You're still one of my fav channels. from russia with love
This style looks heavily subconscious: based in subconscious superstitious impulses (the idea of repeating shapes, patterns, how and when to swap pens) it’s kinda interesting - at times when you draw “heart shapes” - also sort of implies in the viewers subconscious ness - I.e. some may “see” organic shapes - heart shapes, noses etc. Others may see things like water, or objects (like water slides) etc. Kinda cool. The linear stuff is a bit more interesting
Hair looking great Peter... as a person with curly hair I'm proud of you for achieving such a luscious sheen and defined curls. Love the videos, have a great day.
Idk if you have or not but can u tell us about the little heart on your thumb please. I dont know what about it makes me feel the way i do but i love it
Peter! I would really love it if you would use the Satukirajan Puolue book to make a children’s story! I would LOVE to see what kind of art and story you could make with the intention of a young audience. Like, even if each page is it’s own small story, and it’s not a linear kind of thing, that would be amazing.
Peter, I think that was actually a moa eraser, not an ostrich eraser. That was from New Zealand, right? A moa is an extinct bird that used to live there, and had rather larger legs than an ostrich or an emu. Here's some information on them. www.cruisemilfordnz.com/milford-sound-history/fiordland-moa/
I agree peach o's are the best gummi. With that little bit of Tarte-ness. As strange as I may sound Krogers carries a white grape with peach juice and it is superb especially when chilled
the "draw your original story" book seems like it would lend itself to drawing a story and having the watermarked creatures at the bottom be like a Mystery Science Theater 3000 commentary team, page after page.
I'm sad that sketchbook was so cute who washes ink off of paper lmao Peter is my favorite person and his videos make me happy and calm and often times are the only good parts to my day. I've been watching peter for three years now and he is so inspiring as a person and an artist. UwU
i wasnt going to comment because it says there 323 comments, and thats my birthday (march 23) but i just love watching you interact with new things and making such creative art pieces!! i was actually surprised you only tasted the "edible" gifts...
Hey peter I'd love to see more real time drawings with you just talking or reading i think i watched all the ones you've posted already haha they really help me draw ❤ But only do it if you want to
Starting from 11:07 , anyone know where to buy that Zebra marker and the giant lead pencil? I've been looking for these things for a while, but they're hard to find in Canada (which is understandable). Thanks in advance!
That 12 yr old that sent you all the goodies, what a sweetheart! Peter you inspire people of all ages! We all love you!
Pop
i bet he's went through a lot of bad times in his life

Luna nice comment 👌🏻 feel the same
@Luna Lovebuzz, are you an Empath?
Wow you really hit the nail there.👏👏👏
That's actually the best way to describe peter.
My roommate's dog name is Luna and she's the sweetest pup I've ever met. Maybe it's just a quality that comes with the name.
Peter you're my best imaginary friend
matt Marshall same ahahaha
ya make he sad lol
XD hahahahaha he is quite something isn't he. I like him as well
it's an olliphant
awwww

Sometimes his hair is Albert Einstein, sometimes it's Weird Al.
I’m now emotionally attached to that ostrich erase THANKS
You're not alone... I named it Astrogilda.
This was so cute to watch. Mr. Peter Draws- you are, yourself, a box of wonders ❣️

You’ll figure it all out!
'ECRU' is a colour 🤓
Oh weird, that word is previously unknown to me
Is It? What does it look like?
Ecru is kindof peachy skin colored beige, coming from écru describing 'unbleached linens'
*DING DING DING* We have a winner! You can see the context of the word in the sentence if you look closely ... "ivory on ecru on beige" ... it's a metaphor for something very blah. :) However, I cannot remember the rest of the sentence as I have slept since then.
appmicro
If you google a pic of a fawn, and look at the hair on the inner neck area, that’s ecru. Or what I think of it as.
Funny Peter...ha! 💋
You are so blessed to be having people send you such cool stuff. How very loved you are! ❤ Thanks for sharing with us. 😎
"Sneezing is the best worst thing I do on a regular basis" My favorite thing I've heard you say
I feel like his videos can double for both art and ASMR.
After years of close examination, I have found Peter's secret to amazing art.

appmicro I can never forget when he tasted the ink inside the pen!😂
Oh yeah yeah

Peter is a unicorn among us normies
10:34
That hair tuck was hottt
Are you THE Doctor Peter Draws? I've heard such great things about you. Thank you for your service to Science.
He is mr. Doctor Scientist Hotdog Extraordinare Peter Draws, the one and only. The world has many good things to be thankfull for ❤
Peter, you doodle with your voice, not just with your pen. It makes my brain sort of bendy and flowy. Its an audible sketchbook being subscribed.
This man, Inhales everything
Including cocaine
*inhales* " reminds me of my childhood" hahaha didn't think I'd be laughing so soon into the viedo.
Peter, you fill my void of boyfriend-I-can-come-home-to, I love having my morning coffee with you. Thank you for your content.
?
This was like Christmas! I loved how you discovered each gift and gave it due appreciation.
My son also when he used to draw , was uncomfortable with color. Me? I can draw sophisticated art with crayons!!
I love you Peter and thanks for sharing once again.
9:27 he could've made the joke of ducktape but he didn't, let's respect that
Blasphemer . You WASHED a pad of paper .
Have you taken leave of your senses man ?
Since i saw my first video by Peter Draws (him going through his full sketchbook) i have only one dream: To be able to draw like him. Im addicted to his art style, its so damn great
Watching a man caress a small rubber ostrich has made my day. Thank you Peter.
you’re a therapist to all of us without even knowing it
synthia if you’re reading this i need you to send me that same box please and thanks
peter, you never fail to make me feel just a little bit better when i'm depressed. thank you
i'm crying peter you're so pure
Glad that your name is still Peter, Peter.
wiki.... : "ecru" is the color of unbleached linen or silk, a light beige or fawn. The word comes from French écru, 'raw' or 'unbleached'.
You have a great eye for collors, would be nice to see you experiment with it more often, you are, after all, an acomplished scientist.
Yep it is like Christmas watching the opening of presents!
Ecru is the word Peter. A kind of beige color. 🥰😎
Peter's vids are like a trip to another dimension.
Maneki neko is the cat you see in Chinese restaurants. The arm is waving because its throwing good luck at you
Thank u Peter, very cool
I see we have a 1975 fan in the house
I want a glow-eyed-punching-cat pen! Or at least to see Peter art it!
I absolutely adore watching Peter's videos, it just gives the day a bit of light!🤧💟
I think pomegranate is one of the least appreciated fruit flavors. Its delicious. I know I'm a bit late, but thanks for another chill half an hour, Peter. Have a good one, Internet Buddy. :)
UGH I honestly don't know how Roseart is still a company that exists. Their crayons are pretty much just candlesticks without a wick.
The 12 year old, Jacob i think?, just melted my heart! Also the fact that you rinsed your sketchbook underwater is hilarious.
You now have a Katy Perry nipple gun! Use this wisely it's a great responsibility lol
That word is ECRU. My favorite drawing pen is the pilot G2, the ink lasts for along time and I never have a problem with flow or extra clumpy ink, they don't cost that much and produce great results.
Who's a good ostrich. Peter, I love you.
Peter, knife safety! Freeing that ostrich is not worth cutting your finger off.
Knifes can't hurt him, they wouldn't dare.

Ecru or beige was the expression on the paper written in cursive. Good videos and thanks for the great work
I love getting air from other countries.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does stuff like that to erasers, I so need one
7:38 Peter got so sarcastic so quick that I was actually a little bit frightened.
Kinda cool. 'Who is a good ostrich?
Yes you , you are a good boy'
We got some foreign air here, let's take a sniff. Haha
"At least treat yourself to Crayola" - Peter Draws lol very true
Love your vids, Peter. You take me to my happy place. :-) When you got the sponge out I lol'd.
Idk if you have or not but can u tell us about the little heart on your thumb please. I dont know what about it makes me feel the way i do but i love it
Im currently drawing on cooking parchement paper cause it's relatively cheap and you get a 50' roll of paper, I use a pen , you dont need much to draw
I like men
Peter! I would really love it if you would use the Satukirajan Puolue book to make a children’s story!

peter, your voice is a massage, its actually amazing
Peter always comes through to make the rest of my day better than the first part
Peter calling the chick tape cute was the most alien-trying-to-act-human action in this video
Get someone who treats you like Peter treats the ostrich
Peter you are the modern Bob Ross. Thank you for your videos I love them so much.
“My name is still peter” 😂
My dad and I both read magazines "backwards" it drives my husband nuts. I'm glad to see someone else do it too
thank u for always hanging out w me peter (:

Thanks to you my pen obsession grows by the second
Hello! How do you clean your Rotring .35 and smaller pens? I am afraid to take them all the way apart because I’m sure they will break.
A true artist
Thanks again Yeeter
Hey man I almost had a heart attack watching you open up that ostrich eraser. Point away homie 💀
How do you not have 300 million subscribers! I am obsessed(in sooo not a creepy way) You are beyond hilarious and I love the way your brain works!
13:00 thats finnish the name of the book means "storybooks party" (party as in like team)

Hi, my name is still Peter.. you crack me up and make my day..everyone is waiting for breakfast but oh well I need my morning Peter Draws fix..

Hello, Still Peter. We’re glad to meet you.
Starting from 11:07 , anyone know where to buy that Zebra marker and the giant lead pencil? I've been looking for these things for a while, but they're hard to find in Canada (which is understandable). Thanks in advance!
You make my days so much better. ❤
will you ever do a tour or a look-through of all the arty goodies and trinkets you've acquired? :3
Much love from New Zealand Peter
ECRU it’s a sort of putty/stone colour.
Nice video Peter.. next thing I knew I popped open a bag of Twizzlers while watching (thanks damn subliminal licorice)
Oh peach O’s, how I love thee.
