Again, thank you so much for such a detailed procedure on how to check the stator coil! I'm having starting issue with my bajaj avenger 160 street bs6 model and your videos are helping me to dig deep into the issue and learn so much about electrical systems and my bike in the process! I did the individual phase to ground AC voltage check as you showed, and with the engine running on idle rpm, on two phases I'm seeing 20-23v output with respect to ground (black probe of multimeter connected to negative battery terminal/chassis of the bike). But on one phase I'm seeing no output voltage, and barely 1.3 v when i rev the engine really high. I figured this would indicate problem with the coil winding connected to this phase, but when i discussed this with a local mechanic he said the reading is expected as one of the phases is tied to the ground??? This has hugely confused me, and my understanding of the electrical circuitry in the bike. Is there a chance he may be wrong? And the coil winding of the phase showing 0 output voltage could indeed be the issue? I'd really really appreciate some advice bro!
Edit: just to reclarify, when checking the individual phase to ground ac votage, I'm connecting red probe to one of the phase output wires on the stator coil output coupler, and the black probe to the negative terminal of the dc battery or any unpainted screw on the chassis, as from my understanding these are what the electrical ground is on a motorbike. Am i doing this correctly? Or should there be a ground connection in the alternator itself when checking for the individual phase voltage?

Thanks for writing such a long story. yes there is also a ground wire outcoming from stator too. as well as you can touch black probe to other part of body. Thanks again Stay tuned with us . we will upload full wiring of your Bs6 avenger model also. You can support our work by joining Our patreon or channel membership.

That another 1.3 volt may be for sensor output. Dont be Panic ,we will clarify all you doubt of internal connection on flow of electron and current level.Stay tuned

This is very informative video. Thanks for sharing. It is helping me to understand electrical of bike.
Please help me with problem of platina bike (of old model with kick start).
My problem is that 2 wires from coils of magnet connecting to RR unit shows 6 volts AC with reference to body ground but when I check volts on both wires combined it shows 0 volts. Output volts of RR is 6 volts DC which is very less for charging battery at idle. But at higher RPM this volts goes to 14 volts DC.
Local auto electic expert says that this normal. I changed battery and battery guy says there is problem in magnet coil.
    Please help me Sir 🙏

Alternator output is much more than 6 volt , definitely your alternator is malfunctioning
