Hi tea friends, we missed you here on Teatime with Jesse. In this episode, I share Ancient Tree Green Tea with Michael Cherney, a self-taught photographer who's called China home for over 30 years. His works, inspired by China's rich art history and landscape tradition, are in collections worldwide including the Met's Asian Art Department. Cherney captures fleeting moments in places steeped in cultural memory.

Michael reminded me so much of a friend I have teaching english abroad, it inspired me to send a text and reconnect, thank you! Enjoyed a nice Qimen red tea from the sample box with this video. Saved a bunch to make iced tea as well this time instead of just pounding a litre of tea haha.

@jessesteahouse got an email only after I requested a refund. Zero other attempts. An you assume after this people are still watching. I came here just to leave an honest review on my experience with you. Has been way less than expected. An both times asking for a refund I was simply told it was going to be another month. No attemp to make it right.
@@PossiblyPotatohey there I am sorry the experience was so bad for you. Are you saying that my team did not tell you you had the option to get a refund when your first emailed? Or that they told you not to get a refund and to wait?
The item has big bold print at the top saying we do not know when it will ship, it is a pre-order, and I was trying to be very clear about that before anyone purchased it. My thinking was that if anyone ordered, and it was taking too long, they could just get a refund. I also also trained my customer service team specifically to make sure that everybody contacts us by email knows this. It’s also written and bold on the product people purchase.
We’ve done two reels updates, multiple emails, and multiple post, although this is a huge problem with social media, I really don’t have the way of getting in touch with everybody I want to immediately. The only thing we can do like that is email, and we have been sending emails.
This is a big reason why I have not been doing as many pre-orders, because we do wind up with these sort of situations, but again I am one guy with a small team doing the best I can, and if it’s not good enough, I’m really sorry we failed this time 😢
Just to be sure - you have your refund yes? Is there anything else you need from me or the team?
