im not worried about Kiki man, i think its good that he's going through this slump now so that he finds his form later on in the season.

What i like about this channel is there is no petty or derogatory comments, everyone expresses their opinion. I enjoy the different points of view. Plus the content is great, keep up the good work bro. I agree with the sub option, playing well keep him on, playing aweful sub him off. I dont rate and never have rated Hazard. Great examples of benching having a negative outcome, espcially James Rodriguez (what a player, we have to face him when playing against Rayo Vallecano). The Ronaldo one is tricky, it was Ten Haag (what a joke) at Man Utd and the national team at WC Qatar, but look at him 1000+ goals and still going (i know its the Saudi league, but he is still good enough to play anywhere in Europe) and carving up the Nations League. Another example is Roberto Baggio, he was benched a bunch of times (injury or conflict with manager) but always cames back with a point to prove. My point is the bench in Mbappe case is for him to find hunger to be out there, read the game from the bench - what are we doing right/wrong, what he can do about it, how and what the opponent is or isn't doing. The bench doesn't have to be doom and gloom, discussing/analysing the game with the other players, listening to the coach and assist. coach comments/analysis. Another reason why i lean towards the bench option is we've had 3.5 months of the same Mbappe, still walking, no pressing, just lazy, Real have been playing 10 vs 11 every game.

I love what you said here and your take on Mbappe being on the bench makes alot of sense, but I still feel that benching could end up being a normal thing especially in Madrid. They've benched many star players before and it never went well

I honestly don’t like how people find ways to rewrite history and it’s so easy to suffer from recency bias and forget about what a player did just because they’re in a rut. Kylian Mbappe is in the worst form of his career, he’s in an absolute crisis and he isn’t playing well at the moment, but him having a couple of bad months at Real Madrid has made people forget that on his day when he was at his best, he was probably the most talented player in the world and there was a time where he was seen as the face of football in the post Messi and Ronaldo era. Are we forgetting that as a teenager, he was in the conversation for being “the best player in the world” alongside the 2 GOATs and was already a World Cup winner and scored in the final itself while still only being 19 years old and he blossomed into a genuine superstar and developed much quicker than what people anticipated from him at the time when he first broke onto the scene and on top of his statistical output, he was a dangerous player to go up against. People will look at Mbappe’s stats at PSG and say that “oh he was doing it in Ligue 1, it’s a farmers league”, but are ignoring the fact that he was cooking in the champions league against some of the best teams in the world. Bro scored a hat trick (3 goals) against Barcelona 4 goals in both of those legs, a brace (2 goals) against Bayern Munich in 2021 and in 2022 when he was at his dominant best, he was even destroying Real Madrid in both legs who won the competition that year and in a team that had Messi and Neymar, he was literally their best player and even with those 2, he still had his best ever season in terms of goals and assists combined and goal contributions and followed that up with another excellent World Cup where he was the top scorer and scored a hat trick in the final and even without being at his best in the last 18 months, he still had back to back seasons work 40+ goals and 10+ assists which is impressive for any player regardless of what league they’re playing in.
This is someone who was able to create something out of nothing, beat defenders off the dribble cut inside with his right foot and tuck the ball into the top corner and his speed and pace was unlimited which was an aspect of his game that he will eventually lose as he gets older. As I said before, I don’t want to make excuses for Mbappe’s bad start to his career at Madrid, bro is literally on a team that has “the best out and out left winger in the world” many people see him as the best player in the world as he’s direct skillful and fast and has been doing what he’s been doing for what 3-4 years and Vinicius has consistently improved his game and while as a center forward, he’s not bad as he’s played through the middle for most of his career, we all know that he won’t realize his potential as an out and out striker. On current form, Mbappe isn’t anywhere close to being one of the best players in the world, but can anyone tell me who’s better than him. Vini, Salah to a certain extent (even though his stats are insane, when they’re all in form, peak for peak, is he a better footballer than him), you can’t tell me that Haaland is better same with Lewandowski despite both of their scoring records plus they’re literally out and out number 9s, on current form, maybe Raphinha with the way he’s playing, but anyone who says that he’s a better footballer than Mbappe should never be allowed to watch football again, excellent player, just because he had 3-4 good months it doesn’t mean he’s the best player in the world and that’s what football today has become (by that logic, any player in better form than Mbappe right now is better than him), you can’t even say Yamal as given what he’s done at his age, he could be better than him, but it’s all about consistency, Saka isn’t even close to being better either. None of these players outside of maybe Vini and Salah are better and I can’t wait for Mbappe to silence all of these critics as we’re ready for his redemption arc and since he’s going to be back, we will be there and let’s not act like he’s become a bad player overnight just because things aren’t going well for him at Real Madrid although one thing I would like to add is that he could no one would care if he stat pads and score goals in Ligue 1, since he’s on the biggest club in the world, all eyes are on him, everyone is watching him, he’s under the microscope every game whether he performs or not and unfortunately he’ll be judged by people based off of what he’s doing now, what he used to do and assuming he rediscovers his true self, is he still the best player in the world when it comes to impacting and influencing a game.

People so easily forget who he is man. I will never encourage benching someone who played like that in the World Cup. Because he can unlock that form at any moment. Sure he is trash this season, but let's not overreact on things and ruin the player by benching him.

Madrid fans have every right to be upset with him, they shouldn’t lose their faith in him as it’s better off to keep backing him although patience is running thin and they want to see results from him after failing to hit the ground running, but the saddest thing about this is that their fans have had to wait 7 years for him to arrive at the club, he rejected them twice as they believed that he didn’t want to play for Madrid and basically used them to get more money and boost his contract at PSG and now he repays their fans with a consistent run of poor performances and has also been unable to show up in big games both in La Liga and the champions league resulting in disappointing results that has been a bit detrimental to their season recently. Forgot to mention how one sided this relationship between the 2 parties was as he needed them more than they needed him, for his career, Mbappe needed Real Madrid to win the UCL and get closer to winning the Ballon Dor, not the other way around as no one at the club outside of Perez wanted him and somehow they added the “best player in the world” and they look like a weaker team compared to last season even if he’s not been their biggest problem.
Since modern football is so “stat driven” and fans don’t know how to watch football anymore, people will cover up for his poor level of play on the pitch and bring up the fact that “Mbappe has scored 10+ goals in all competitions, he’s one of the highest scorers in La Liga and has won 6 MOTM awards”, on paper that’s good, but I watch the games with my eyes, not everything is played off the stat sheet and plus, outside of a couple of goals and moments here and there, Mbappe hasn’t had a single performance that was mindblowing or iconic as even in the games where he’s been scoring goals, he’s been average. It’s not even about him missing back to back penalties his wastefulness in front of goal for someone who’s usually clinical or having an “offsides problem”, he’s not playing with confidence, he’s going through a period where it’s just not happening for him no matter what he tries, he looks lethargic in his play, he’s making the wrong decisions deciding to constantly dribble when it’s not working, doesn’t pass to a teammate in an open position and when it does, he loses the ball and a great player going through a slump is nothing new and until his “downward spiral ends”, things will keep going from bad to worse and that’s the reality of his situation right now and it’s honestly sad to see. Given the level of talent Mbappe has despite his struggles, since he’s too good to be on the bench, I don’t see him getting benched anytime soon although Ancelotti as an experienced manager has dealt with situations where a superstar has been out of form and depending on how long this continues, whether it’s the solution for the team or it bodes well for his confidence and makes things worse, it’ll get to a point where he needs to make a big decision as we don’t know how long it’s going to last and if he doesn’t improve in the coming weeks or let’s say in a month or 2, I have a feeling that he’ll spend a couple of games on the bench. They have done everything in their power to get the best out of him and as of right now, nothing has worked. The job of a manager is supposed to make big decisions based off of what’s best for the team not one player and it doesn’t matter if he’s the best player in the world or is big name in world football and this is all about getting the best out of Real Madrid, this isn’t “Mbappe FC”, bro isn’t at PSG anymore, he has to adapt to their system and forget about playing on the wing when even there he was still ass and as we all know, he isn’t making an impact on the team attacking wise, he doesn’t press or move without the ball and when he does nothing with or without the ball, he’s a passenger in the team. An ideal situation instead of dropping him altogether is keep him on the bench for the entire game when he’s playing decently or sub him off with a few minutes to go if he’s doing nothing and sooner or later, he’s going to have to get some rest (since he’s doing nothing on the pitch and is basically a wall and made out of an object, he doesn’t have to break a sweat), anyways, it’s a long season with a demanding schedule as there’s no way that he can play every game in multiple competitions, he won’t get dropped completely, they have to think about resting him more with the games coming thick and fast. I’m hoping that Mbappe bounces back and who knows maybe at the start of 2025, he regains his form and overcomes this bad spell as Madrid got the wrong version of him.

You're not wrong at all for criticizing him because he has been trash all season, he maybe had 1 good performance which was against Celta Vigo. And you're right it's not Mbappe FC, but right now Carlo has no choice but to start him. Perez definitely doesn't believe Mbappe should be on the bench.

Anyone who is enjoying Kylian Mbappe’s downfall at Real Madrid is honestly a sick and given how reactionary and fickle football fans are, the same people who are calling him “washed and finished” “flop” “next Eden Hazard” and aren’t supporting him during his worst moments are the same people who will get on the hype train and start glazing him once he starts cooking consistently. Football needs Mbappe back to his best. First of all, he can’t be worse than Mr. Burger King especially since he barely even played and even when he did, was he even on the pitch, he can’t be as bad as him plus, he didn’t put any effort.
No in all seriousness though, Mbappe is one of my favorite players and irrespective of how he plays, I’ll always back him no matter what since at the end of the day regardless of what the fans think, he’s still a world class player when he’s in form as we shouldn’t be too quick to forget that just because he’s had a couple of bad months, but at the same time, he’s getting very difficult to defend him and on top of that, it gets to a point where people need to stop making excuses for him and look deeper into the problems he’s dealing with at Madrid. “Oh, he’s in a new team in a different country new league, it’s an adaption period, he’ll come good once he settles in their system, wait until he plays in his natural position as he’ll be back to his best on the left wing”, as I said before, no more excuses for him, even when he does nothing all game, Ancelotti won’t drop him because we’re in December and it seems like every time he looks as if he’s finding momentum and scores a goal even if he plays poorly, the next game, he drops an absolute disasterclass and this has been a recurring cycle for him at Real Madrid and I honestly don’t know when that’s going to end as it seems like he shows no signs of improvement, and even after getting a run of games in his natural position, it’s very clear that he’s out of form.

This is why you're the goat🐐. Of course Mbappe is not even nearly as bad as the king of burgers, matter of fact he has scored more G/A than him in way less games. And I'm happy that you didn't turn on Mbappe just because all the other fans did.

So we should sacrifice whole season so that a 25 year old grown ass diva don't loose confidence😂. Remember he got 150 million signing bonus. Bro cannot dribble and create chances like Vini, salah or yamal and neither can be the Target man like Ronaldo, zlatan, haaland neither can linkup like Benzema and kane. And players usually don't improve these things after 25. Finishing can be improving even after 30s but not these things i mentioned. He can improve but never reach a level we expect. And don't forget the attitude of not helping defence and pressing . Whatever you say Perez got this one wrong. We never needed this guy. I hate this guy with my heart
