Thanks mate, and yes I go to Watermark pretty often. There is one near to you at Walkerville. Think its called Walker Arms or something, jist opposite the ABC building. That's pretty decent as well.
WOOHOO I am finally able to catch up on your videos. Perfect videos to watch over lunch time at work. So, this is GAWLER! I saw Gawler from 35K ft when I flew from MEL to SIN. I havne't been to many buffets of late. At that price, I would def go and give it a try. Seriously, for that price, you really cannot go wrong! Another delicious ep, Ryan!
Nice to see you guys doing a video around Adelaide. The buffet thing not being popular in Adelaide, I don't think it's popular in many parts of Australia, especially around South East Queensland. Probably because of our coffee shop culture and people love their eggs benny or smashed avocado on toast. That's what I think anyway. Could you guys do Adelaide city or Gawler. Maybe Elizabeth or Port Adelaide. Lol.
Ryan, like your youtube videos. We appreciate your candid, honest viewpoints. Can you please review LUCIAS italian cafe at Adelaide Central Market? Order the ravioli-a-la-panne (with bacon and mushrooms) then have a cafe-au-lait. I believe this is the best value italian cuisine in Australia.
Charlies on Brighton road has a large buffet. The old Buckingham Arms in North Adelaide was the original buffet place but Covid killed it and it is no longer open. Such a shame.
I like Glenelg , been there a few times , but never to that buffet . I’m not usually a buffet person , they often present so much variety that I think they are “ Jack of all trades, but masters of none “, however , this one seemed to produce some decent tucker . The ambient noise in there seemed very loud and would have done my head in , I’d have been eager to leave . Love that drone footage of Gawler , I recognise almost all the landmarks , especially that footage of the tree opposite Woolies next to the arcade entrance , it’s a great tree . I’ll be in Gawler again in August . How about a video of Hahndorf , there’s some good German eateries and bars there. Cheers mate .👍
I'm pretty discerning about my buffets, but beggars can't be choosers in Adelaide. Back in Asia, my kind of buffets were Sunday champagne brunches at the Ritz lasting the entire afternoon as we sit and chat over wagyu steaks, coffin bay oysters, foie gras, Alaskan crab claws... You get the idea. There is NOTHING like that here. When I say I flew to Jakarta just to have their Sunday brunch at Ritz Carlton, I meant it. 🤣
Nice video !
Thanks man!
Thanks mate. Love the review of the watermark hotel, one of the staples of Glenelg.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
I would of eaten so much at that buffet. Nice video!
