You need in line resistors to fix the fast blink and it'll probably also fix the headlight switchbacks as well when the bike is seeing the correct voltage on the system
@@Kamdorian no problem, there's also a fast blink relay on amazon that may fix the issue. I'm looking to add LEDs to my bike later this year when I get a vulcan
I may not always comment, just because of the sheer volume of videos I watch every day, but I will always leave a thumbs up. As for screwdrivers, you should get yourself a set of JIS screwdrivers to use on your motorcycle. Not saying the Phillips does not work, but most Japanese motorcycles use JIS screws. You can look up the difference in the JIS compared to Phillips. JIS will work well on both JIS and Phillips screws, but Phillips will not work well for all JIS screws. Phillips screwdrivers have a tendency to strip JIS screws. EDIT; Here is a good video explaining the differences. th-cam.com/video/VpqUhIZ-EJo/w-d-xo.html
Wow great to know man! I watched the video, very informative. I do feel the phillips tends to strip the screws on the Vulcan. Definitely going to look for a nice JIS set now.
Yea I know I could have but was lazy haha and didn't feel it was needed. Can barely see the gap. Plus that plastic was very hard would take a while to sand down by hand lol
I did the connection with the posi taps but for some reason they dont turn on, and on the dash it doesn’t show them “on” I have no idea why or what to do to fix it, so yay lol
What happens when you press the turn signal buttons? Double check the connections you made. Grab the original lights and connect them to confirm if they still work. If they don't work then something else might be wrong with your electrical system. Sorry you are having these issues, hopefully we can get it working
14:15, when you switch the turn signal, the white light doesnt activate for a second. Is there any solution to that? Love the signals but if it makes the main light not work properly, my interest drops for sure.
Installing a flash relay might solve the problem. However those white lights are just adding minor visibility increase for cars coming towards you. The headlight beam is still the main light that is all you really need.

Have you tried your four way flashers I changed my signals out with amber lenses and regular bulbs turn signals worked fine but four way emergency flashers would blink once and stop I had too change them back
Do you mean the hazard flash lights? Yes, they work fine for me. Maybe your wiring had an issue? Do you have the flash relay installed? That might help too.
Your head lamp not blinking maybe due to voltage drop used by led's. We get a message in dodge van that the license bulb is out, but it was replaced with a led bulb.

@@Kamdorian hi, were you able to fix the turning signal light with the headlight? To flash at the same time?? Plz lmk I'm having the same issue. Thanks J.R
I don't remember but it was pretty big, you just want big enough to basically shred the plastic away. A smaller drill bit will just take longer to remove the plastic. Takes some trial and error. I also used pliers to pull chunks of the plastic off after hitting with drill. Kind of an iterative process.
Come on. Use a dremell tool to clean up your plastic mount . Blue lock-tite & lock washer . Take the nut put a bolt in heat with a propane torch and push it in place. I've done this method before with a screw driver. Just heat it up and push it thru ( no drilling required).
