I got very poor service here in the country. We called the ISP and asked for the fastest which is what we got. We could also do starlink as an option which you can also do.

Depends. I actually like your router. If you use Wifi 6 you might see better results with the Reyee if you are using multiple devices at the same time. But your router is so good, it might not make much difference
Run a speed test with your current router. If you are getting over 50mbps down, then it's those apps. If less, then yes, this will help. Those apps only require around 25-35 to run effectively in my experience. But keep in mind, there are better apps for streaming. We share these on patreon.
Those apps were the best options in 2019, now with all the streaming servers being shut down, they aren't working as good. You are better off with Heat Live
The router comes with an app with video instructions... basically connect to your modem via ethernet (cord included), then set up your username and password, then connect your devices to the newly created wifi. Oh, and I agree spectrum is not great. Only choice we have here. This router really helped.

I’ve always been given the combo by the ISP. It was never separate. I guess I could ask. I’m thinking they’ll charge me for the modem which is what I’m trying to avoid
The combo units are usually for slower wifi speed plans. Separate is the way to go however in our market, it's only for the "gigablast" plan. But regardless if you have the modem combo, you can still use this router to enhance the range and speed.
When I connect this router to my modem with an ethernet cable, the yellow light comes on which means that the router cannot connect to the internet. This is the same cable and connection that I use with my Syslink router which works just fine. Why?
Ok sounds good but wen I replace my existing router is cable internet ready. I have been trying to read all the details and sure it is wifi but I still have to connect it to the network through cable.
There really is no need. It's super easy and the brand has videos walking you through it in the app. Only takes a few minutes. I love that you can set your own username and password as well as guest networks. Way better router.

So it sounds like you aren't connecting to the extender wifi which will be a completely different log in. It shouldn't drop that much. Did you set up the extenders online and set up the user and password? Yes this router works with those extenders, but it already has a 3,000 sq ft range without it.
I see on your link that there are two models...R6-1 Pack and R6-2Pack. Both are different prices. Please advise as to which one you are using and perhaps advise on the difference between the two models. Many Thanks. Danny.
Yeah, the two will double your range if you want more than 3000 sq ft coverage at the faster speeds. I just use the one and have the rock space mesh still throughout. I get 200-350mpbs until I go beyong 3000sq ft, then I get the slower rock space speeds around 100. Buying two would expand at faster speeds. I haven't purchased a second one. All the important streaming is within 3000
Yes, you will just have two wifi networks. Will split the signal and you won't have the maximum speed, but I don't know what you pay for right now, so it's hard to say if it will help you. This router is great if you have a decent speed coming into your house.
I don't need to know how much you are paying, but the speed you are paying for. I'm paying for gigagblast 1,000mbps - If you are paying for 200 or less, this router will make no difference
Yes, but you will need to set up the router with a new network. DO NOT USE THE CURRENT ONE. Many make this mistake thinking they are connecting to the new router. It's the same process, just make sure not to use the old router log in

I just use the isp modem. That doesn't make a difference here. It's the wireless signal that gets depleted. You can test your model by hard wiring to your device. I just plug my PC in and run a test.
You can still use it, just set up the new router and use that log in. It will be faster with longer range. I bet your combo only gives you 1000sq ft max and very slow beyond that. I've seen decent ones, but rarely from the ISP
I’m using a Netgear router with 2 satellites. The slowest part of my house usually hovers around 350mbps and I still have buffering. Have done all of the tutorials to stop buffering. No luck.

I received the new in sealed box Reyee ax3200 and been messing with it for hours,did speed test before with my nighthawk router and my download speeds were in the 70s and 23 uploads. then did test with the Reyee and downloads are in the high 30s and up loads around 15, You have always been my GO TO GUY to provide best info on maximizing FIRESTICK smoothness, Im sure I must be doing something wrong but cant seem to figure out what. First want to make sure your device you are testing with utilizes Wifi 6 (the new 4k max), Should see much faster. The thing that is interesting is that your firestick isn't picking up the signal as well as with your nighthawk (which is well know as a good reception router due to the antennas). Is your firestick far from the router?

Great questions, you will set up this router and create new log in and passwords. You will need to log into each device (firestick, Android Box, smart TV, etc). But this does not affect any of your apps

If you are asking in general the ax3200 vs ax4200 simply means the max speed. 3.2g or 4.2g - so the question is, what’s offered where you are from your ISP. Mine is max 1 gig, so I won’t take advantage of the max on either router. Effectively making it not matter which I use.
Yes, expressvpn. I also tested with IP Vanish and got half that and Ivacy (similar results to Express). I always try and test with a VPN cause I always run one. Someone else asked about IP Vanish so I ran it on 4 different devices. Always 120-150 (half Express).

The best way to tell is to directly connect your streaming device or a computer via ethernet to your modem and run a speed test.

No, don't get a modem and a router confused. You still need your modem, you are just using this to create the wireless network that you connect to

I haven't tried Google mesh, but I imagine it would work. Works with our Rock space mesh just fine.
In order for this to work you will need a modem too. This is not a combo like the cable company gives you. Not sure if Riyee makes a combo
Correct. However your ISP gives you a modem when you get their service. Just refuse the router (combo units are always a bad idea)

Eero is a good mesh. Better than the rock space I was using. Are you getting good speeds?

No, modem grabs the signal from your provider. Router creates a wifi network. You could have an all in one setup from your ISP. Those are not good.

All depends. Run speed tests hard wired and wireless. See the difference. If it's less than 50% of what you get hard wired, a new router will help
