    Just started (3-28-2022) checking out your videos; the Vinditka bars sparked my interest, as I'm presently looking to change out the stock bars on my '21RGS, w/RDRS; color is Snake Venom w/Black Pkg. Thanks for making the videos & sharing info.
    Current mods/upgrades as of 3/28/22: S&S 2-1 Sidewinder Exhaust System; Fuel Moto FM3956 Air Cleaner (flows 80% more than Ventilator; retained stock SE ventilator cover); Fan added to oil cooler; Trask M8 Checkvent (ventilate crankcase); Dynojet PV3 Tuner (Map by Fuel Moto); Rockford-Fosgate/HD Stage-2 Audio; SirrusXM; Saddlemen Road Sofa, custom stiching (mega comfort for my GF); CVO Lower Fairing/Chin Spoiler (painted to match bike); HD 4-point docking hardware, HD std. sissy bar & passenger backrest pad; Kahuna grips & Klock Werks 9" Sport Flare windscreen.

      Sounds like a nice build. I'm looking to swap pipes in the future to make some more ponies. You won't be disappointed by the bars I promise

    Awesome video. I have my FXR Division Motowitch bars on order for my 2020 Road Glide Special... Really can't wait. Went with the Rough Rider leds for front and rear for full led light instead of the ring, just personal opinion there for sure. I went with the Tab BAM sticks 4.5 with the mid range baffles... Debating the Zombie baffles for sound but know it cuts a bit into performance.

      My bike had the zombie baffles with stock header when I bought it way long ago now. There's a vid or two with that OG setup but I've really enjoyed my Big Radius pipes. They definitely drone after some time but they sound mean as hell

    • @mmzmunkynutz
      @mmzmunkynutz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perfect reasoning why I went with the mid range baffles... I didn't want the droning on for long trips. Perhaps I'll stay with these and look into cat less headers next. Thanks!

    Just bought a 21 RG in billiard red. Wife said on sunny days when she is riding behind me she could barely make out the tail/brake lights because they blend in with the back of the bike. Just ordered a set of Custom Dynamics Pro Beam taillights. It will be the first upgrade I've done. I had an 06 RG that I traded in for the 21 and in my opinion the newer design is more rider friendly as far as electronics, controls, and aerodynamics for the rider but what I don't understand is why Harley upgraded to LED headlights and not signal/running lights.

      That's beyond me too man. Simple shit that should be standard on all bikes

    I liked your video. It's funny that I've been seeing similar bars recently on TH-cam, and I've wondering why anyone would want them. I'm on a '20 RGS and running the 14" KST Spearhead bars. Your bars look narrow to me, but I'm a little broad shouldered. I think I personally like my bars a little wider. I'm looking at a cam upgrade, and I liked you input. I'm debating the S&S 475 and Wood 22XE, but I do love the lope of the S&S 475.

      Even with my exhaust I made 106hp/119tq with the 475cam. All depends on your riding style so if you want more top end the 475 is good for that

    I have the same bars. I mocked them up and couldn't decide, the T-bar set up I am looking at is on backorder (for the specific setup I want). They've been in the guest bedroom for months and I happen to pull them out and look at them again. I guess I should throw them on, the money has already been spent and they're just sitting there. Ha

    Can i ask you why you decieded to put the mirrors back on the top? Seen previous video where they where under the grips instead off up... Thx

    It sounds like you experienced the blow by issue with the oil blowing off the breather. Did any of your mods help with that? Oil pump swap ect. I love my new RG but hate that it blows oil all over the bag and pipes. Thinking of the same 475 cam and oil pump in the future. Getting the suspension dialed in atm. Any help or advice on the oil blow by issue is greatly appreciated.

    • @MeathedMoto
      @MeathedMoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      The best thing for the blow by is a vented dipstick or Trask's checkmate vented transmission cover. Both take care of it quite a bit. I also only put 4 quarts of oil back in after an oil change instead of the 4.5-5. keep the oil level right in the middle of the dipstick and helps prevent the extra oil from coming up through the breathers

      @@MeathedMoto thx for the the reply. I decided to go w the trask kit. I saw there were some cheaper fixed to vent the top of the crankcase but a lot of the little valves recommended we’re back ordered. Don’t know enough to dick with possible getting valves or parts that are subpar. Trask kit should be solid with the performance baggers running. Thank so much!

    I just noticed you mirrors, they’re up from the last time I saw your video .

    • @MeathedMoto
      @MeathedMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I switched them up after I went to a shorter windshield

  • @chadbobby
    @chadbobby 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What made you put your mirrors on top? Didn't you mount them on the bottom at first?

    • @MeathedMoto
      @MeathedMoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mounted them low before because I had a taller windshield that hit the mirrors. Since I went to a shorter one it wasn't an issue anymore so I put them back upward

    • @MeathedMoto
      @MeathedMoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I couldn't tell ya. I know these bars were $389 when I bought them. All comes down to the style you want I think.
