- For 40 days I fasted (from food, phone, and society)- it was as much of a wilderness as I could make it. I did eat a small breakfast everyday, but no lunch or dinner/equivalents. Zero social media/movies/or hanging out. This was a time dedicated to prayer, reading God's Word, and seeking His will for my life.
I forgot to mention I did finish reading the whole Bible in these 40 days. I also read 'The Purpose Driven Life' by Rick Warren.

This is what my faith allowed me, being already not in great health. When God calls you, He will sustain you in the way He guides. Submit to Him and let Him lead the way!

I fasted for three days for my addicted husband, on the third night I heard God say " it is done". I thought I was just hearing things so I was ready to keep fasting but the next morning my husband woke up and felt the spirit of God over him and was pacing back and forth through the house because he'd never felt the presence of God before, and he woke me up crying saying I need to talk something is going on,... needless to say, this WAS God setting him free! He was free for three months, but because of deceit and temptation has fallen back. Please pray for his deliverance, i sense God has called me to fast again but this time for a deeper deliverance. Isaiah58, talks about fasting for the right reasons.

Currently he is free again, to God be the Glory again. This time the deliverance has been between my husband and God and seems to be getting to the root of things. Praying God will complete his good work in him!
I once fasted for two weeks and only drank water. On the last day of my fast the Lord healed me completely of a physical illness that I had. He touched my body and there was an intense heat that went through my body and then it lifted out of me and at that instant I knew that God healed me and He did. And that was the reason I fasted to begin with was for Him to heal me. Thank you for your video it was a blessing. Blessings always, God is love.❤

If God truly did bless your fast, you just spit in His face by publicizing it. You all are a bunch of Pharisees. Pit of vipers bragging about stuff that’s between you and God. So much for a trusting marriage to the bridegroom.
Yes. A Total Fast can also bring healing from many diseases. Fasting is good for you to an extent. But even better if done smartly, correctly and for spiritual reasons. I’ve found that we as Americans eat WAY WAY too much and I can see how food/gluttony is or has become an issue here. Fasting proved to me how much more so that food is way overrated. This has always been my weakness, so it’s good for me to do it and overcome that weakness. Although it’s been a while since I’ve done one.
Riele Vill If you want to follow Jesus in the way you see fit, and not the way The Father and His Son have asked us to, that is fine. I, nor any other human, cannot judge you for letting your pride overshadow Gods request. Its happened to many of us, including myself many times. Pride is the hardest part of us to let go. Its always there making us feel good for being recognized for our actions, and the feeling it gives feels amazing most times. But we aren’t to follow good feelings, but follow God, and the blessings He will bring for doing so, will outshine any good feeling our pride has ever given us
44 days and had the most beautiful spiritual experience. Never ate at all. Drank water. Christ visited every day. He is most amazing Shepherd.

Hey, just in case anyone sees this. I don't know what you are going through, fear, anxiety, trauma, depression, a mental illness, physical pain, incurable disease... I just wanna say. God loves you and God heals... He is a very mighty God and he heals... Sometimes he allows us to go through this things so we can grow. It's tough, yes but don't give up... The Bible says in rom 8:28 that all things work together for good to those who love God.... So if you love the Almighty God then what are you so afraid of... God loves you with everything and that depression, anxiety, trauma, pain... It's all gonna work for your good.. in the Bible Jesus said, you may not see it now but someday you will... And that's factss, you go through this things but trust me it gets better... I used to have really negative thoughts... When I say negative I mean real negative.. I'd be so scared. I thought something was wrong with me. It was so hard then... I thought it was gonna be that way forever...the day lost its color and I was so scared of being depressed I didn't wanna fall into depression.. I was so so scared you guys but there was this morning I woke up and it's like I was sleeping but still awake I don't know how to explain it but I wasn't asleep.. it's almost like when you are about to fall asleep but if someone calls you you'll hear and then this voice said "change the way you see things" he talked about perception and it was so clear... I woke up that morning but didn't realize till like evening and I'm like yooooo, did God speak to me and it's been that way ever since... I've heard a lot he's told me early in the morning and I just write the lessons down... It's not an audible voice but I hear it, I don't know how to explain it but it speaks to my heart, my soul... It's like it passes a message without an audible voice but in the same time it's audible in my mind... I don't know guys but literally everything God taught me in the morning pointed to reading the Bible... Another one was "God is seeking people whose hearts are pure, God looks at the heart not your appearance" in order for my heart to be right with God it needs to be changed and transformed ... You know this poular saying "show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are" well it's the same with God....we are sad, anxious and depressed because we spend more time with the creation and not the creator. When you spend more time with God you begin to adopt God's way of thinking...He transforms your mind...you begin to think like him, which is good news because God doesn't have anxiety or depression,no no he doesn't...you begin to feel like he does, you'll be giving,loving,merciful and more compassionate. When you read the Bible,God transforms your mind..youll have more faith...the bible even says ___faith comes by the hearing of the word...That can only be done by reading God's word... Please, read your bible, don't just listen to sermons... That's not enough... You need to read the Bible yourself, at least a chapter a day. I created a tiktok for bible study... It's gonna be an interactive one, we are all gonna make friends.. literally a family (if one person is in pain, then we are all in pain... If you are praying for something then we are all interceding for you) a real family... I'm gonna be following every single person back cause yes I want to be involved in your life and you can dm me anytime... We are gonna be reading a chapter or two a day, not just reading but an in-depth study then we'll discuss either live or I'll make a video and you guys let me know what you think in the comment section.... You guys are very important to this because sometimes I find it hard to read my Bible but when there's a drive, you and I will be more motivated... My tiktok is davv_debb. Currently homeless and on the street hungry. Trying to get closer to God. It's my time in the wilderness. Been praying for food and other pleasurable things. Maybe God is asking me to fast and the Holy Spirit is pushing me towards that goal. Been a day. Jumping in. Thank you.

If I’m playing the game I might change my gamer tag to represent Christ. I recently discovered God inside of me and realized he’s always been there. I just wasn’t listening.
That’s New Age/New Thought. The true God does not dwell in/with any person except for the converted soul. You cannot “discover” the true God already inside you. Just a loving exhortation to ensure you have accepted the true Jesus ❤️

New Agers are the ones that carry the teaching that God is in all of us. This would mean that God is a lying, cheating, murderous, rapist terrorist-if indeed He can be represented by all mankind. What is causing this pain, can I ask?
God has been urging me to fast. The most I have ever done was a 7 day water fast. By the 7th day I felt like I was in PARADISE. It almost felt like I entered into a new dimension. I was HYPERSENSITIVE to all spiritual matters. Life felt HAPPIER and FULLER. I felt COMPLETE. The GREATEST FEELING was a sense of BELONGING. I remember thinking "I don't ever want to eat again." I am planning on doing another fast. God willing I will do 40 Days like my HEROS in the bible.

I did the 21 day Daniel fast. I felt amazing and have continued to eat much healthier and have definitely gotten closer to God as a result. After a fast, you just can’t come out the same way. It truly does change you for the better!!

Consider wanting to dive right into it, whether that could be turned the wrong direction and pray about that aspect of your (God-given of course) Personality. The snake picked on Eve because it thought it knew her weakness. We are all weak and strong in different ways, so make sure wanting to fast is really coming from Jesus...test the spirits, including what you think is mine...

Just finished my 40day fast yesterday. You inspired me and really gave me good guidance. God is using you. I don't know how old you were in this video but I am much older and the fact that you have the wisdom to lead people older than you is really a testimony of your walk and faith. This only applies to people who are currently on their fast and commenting on here saying, " I'm on day 2 of my fast"...Fasting is between you and God. No one needs to know because you're not looking for validation from man but God.

Your body is the TEMPLE. The entirety of your body is a vessel and the soul within occupies this vehicle...
Our thoughts, words and actions must be in balance. Praying is one thing but our words in our daily lives must also be observed, our thoughts before we speak them must be observed and our actions for they all play an important role in our daily lives and the energy we portray out to eachother...

Christ pointed out those who wanted attention for their fasting either during or after..
that's why you put oil so not to make it obvious since fasting is between you and God..
But when you are personally asked about your experience you can tell the person.. Not to the world but to them that asked..
If I fast and no one knows and when I'm done I start telling people about how it was without them asking and they congratulate me, I tell you.. I've received my reward from them but not from God..
And if I give also and after giving I start telling people about how much I gave, I tell you I've recieved my reward but not from God..
And I tell you this video, She too has received her reward but not from God..

yes im fasting for 1 week every month and the meal i save i convert into cash and give it to someone who needs it. its wonderful experience because the presence of holy spirit rush into you. you can feel the love the protection the security heavenly father is amazing truly the one living God im praying for our nation to heal so they can open their hearts to the lord

I finished my 40 day 'fast' a few weeks ago. I however, was lead to eat only clean foods; no meat or diary or sugar or processed foods (probably because I have/had bad acid reflux). I wasn't sure if i had the funds to last 40 days but I knew I was being lead by God and God provided. And I too was actually afraid and didn't want the fast to end. I didn't want to lose the closeness I felt with him. No amount of words could successfully describe this experience but it is like no other. God really showed up and showed out for me and I try my best to maintain our relationship.

God loves you and God heals... He is a very mighty God and he heals... Sometimes he allows us to go through this things so we can grow. It's tough, yes but don't give up... The Bible says in rom 8:28 that all things work together for good to those who love God.... So if you love the Almighty God then what are you so afraid of... God loves you with everything and that depression, anxiety, trauma, pain... It's all gonna work for your good.. in the Bible Jesus said, you may not see it now but someday you will... And that's factss, you go through this things but trust me it gets better... I used to have really negative thoughts... When I say negative I mean real negative.. I'd be so scared. I thought something was wrong with me. It was so hard then... I thought it was gonna be that way forever...the day lost its color and I was so scared of being depressed I didn't wanna fall into depression.. I was so so scared you guys but there was this morning I woke up and it's like I was sleeping but still awake I don't know how to explain it but I wasn't asleep.. it's almost like when you are about to fall asleep but if someone calls you you'll hear and then this voice said "change the way you see things" he talked about perception and it was so clear... I woke up that morning but didn't realize till like evening and I'm like yooooo, did God speak to me and it's been that way ever since... I've heard a lot he's told me early in the morning and I just write the lessons down... It's not an audible voice but I hear it, I don't know how to explain it but it speaks to my heart, my soul... It's like it passes a message without an audible voice but in the same time it's audible in my mind... I don't know guys but literally everything God taught me in the morning pointed to reading the Bible... Another one was "God is seeking people whose hearts are pure, God looks at the heart not your appearance" in order for my heart to be right with God it needs to be changed and transformed ... You know this poular saying "show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are" well it's the same with God....we are sad, anxious and depressed because we spend more time with the creation and not the creator. I'm on a 3-day water fast
I really hope to encounter the Lord
I have never fasted until last month. I kept getting this urge to do so. I woke up and decided i would fast. I only did a 3 day fast. And let me tell you it was hard 😂. I’m a foodie. I love to eat. And as an American I tend to over eat. I also have a 1 year old daughter who I’m constantly preparing food for. There was a few times out of habit i almost ate. Each time i felt tempted or weak i asked the lord for strength. Some major things i realized while fasting were 1. You cannot rely on your own strength and must call on Jesus 2. A lot of what we do is habitual (for example eating for pleasure or out of boredom) sometimes we sin out of habit. Each time I fast I plan on going longer and longer

The Lord literally lead me to this video because i was feeling tired and down and because i just came out of a 40 day Daniel fast, the Lord was telling me to write about how this whole experience was and your testimony was very similar to mine, when i first started the fast and got a few weeks in i fellt like giving up, i felt like nothing was working because The Lord lead me to fast for deliverance for me and my family and even my friends and those around me but i my self was still struggling and falling into sin during the fast and i heard the devil saying just give up , it ain't working anyway but then i heard the spirit of the Lord saying...YOUR LIFE and THE LIVES OF THOSE around you DEPENDS on it, so i couldn't give up at all so i didn't give up and i even fasted for Guidance in selecting my subjects as i will be moving into 10th grade Next year, and the Lord gave me revelation that i on my own wouldn't have even thought about. the fast truly transformed me and even those around me in ways i couldn't even imagine and even out of this fast im still awaiting some answers and deliverance but i know its already done in Jesus Name as i can already feel it. If I can remember I think I fasted for 28 days in 2013 of September or October. If you truly want to see supernatural changes, go on a fast it will change things in your life shutting off everything but the bible. I'm on my 16th day of fasting right now and I just came across this wow! My fast supposed to include social media fast. I would alternate reading His Word, worshipping and praying then watching spiritual videos ( as the Holy spirit leads) or prophetic things to help me in my fast. I love that Jesus is calling us to fast this season to draw us more into intimacy with Him. Thank you ♥️

This lockdown has afforded the opportunity to pay close attention to what really matters in life.
And I feel guided by God to seek Him more and align myself to His will.
And one of the first realizations was that most of the time I prayed for God to use me for His glory was so that I, I would be celebrated and praised and add a little to God be the glory at the end.

Errrr, nope. You can live a useless life to the Lord. But your standard will be judged. That doesnt mean Christ leaves you. He never leaves those he has called, or those who have repented and follow him.
Hey, just in case anyone sees this. I don't know what you are going through, fear, anxiety, trauma, depression, a mental illness, physical pain, incurable disease... I just wanna say. God loves you and God heals... He is a very mighty God and he heals... Sometimes he allows us to go through this things so we can grow. It's tough, yes but don't give up... The Bible says in rom 8:28 that all things work together for good to those who love God.... So if you love the Almighty God then what are you so afraid of... God loves you with everything and that depression, anxiety, trauma, pain... It's all gonna work for your good.. in the Bible Jesus said, you may not see it now but someday you will... And that's factss, you go through this things but trust me it gets better... I used to have really negative thoughts... When I say negative I mean real negative.. I'd be so scared. I thought something was wrong with me. It was so hard then... I thought it was gonna be that way forever...the day lost its color and I was so scared of being depressed I didn't wanna fall into depression.. I was so so scared you guys but there was this morning I woke up and it's like I was sleeping but still awake I don't know how to explain it but I wasn't asleep.. it's almost like when you are about to fall asleep but if someone calls you you'll hear and then this voice said "change the way you see things" he talked about perception and it was so clear... I woke up that morning but didn't realize till like evening and I'm like yooooo, did God speak to me and it's been that way ever since... I've heard a lot he's told me early in the morning and I just write the lessons down... It's not an audible voice but I hear it, I don't know how to explain it but it speaks to my heart, my soul... It's like it passes a message without an audible voice but in the same time it's audible in my mind... I don't know guys but literally everything God taught me in the morning pointed to reading the Bible... Another one was "God is seeking people whose hearts are pure, God looks at the heart not your appearance" in order for my heart to be right with God it needs to be changed and transformed ... You know this poular saying "show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are" well it's the same with God....we are sad, anxious and depressed because we spend more time with the creation and not the creator. When you spend more time with God you begin to adopt God's way of thinking...He transforms your mind...you begin to think like him, which is good news because God doesn't have anxiety or depression,no no he doesn't...you begin to feel like he does, you'll be giving,loving,merciful and more compassionate. When you read the Bible,God transforms your mind..youll have more faith...the bible even says ___faith comes by the hearing of the word...That can only be done by reading God's word... Please, read your bible, don't just listen to sermons... That's not enough... You need to read the Bible yourself, at least a chapter a day. I created a tiktok for bible study... It's gonna be an interactive one, we are all gonna make friends.. literally a family (if one person is in pain, then we are all in pain... If you are praying for something then we are all interceding for you) a real family... I'm gonna be following every single person back cause yes I want to be involved in your life and you can dm me anytime... We are gonna be reading a chapter or two a day, not just reading but an in-depth study then we'll discuss either live or I'll make a video and you guys let me know what you think in the comment section.... You guys are very important to this because sometimes I find it hard to read my Bible but when there's a drive, you and I will be more motivated... My tiktok is davv_debb. this is late to comment about fasting..but
i learn fast back on april 2017 i fasted 3 days and no water no food (working not even felt hungry) , read the new testament nd pray 3 times a day..
my fast was a repentance of my soul..and it was like God remove blindness on my eye. that the bible Declare Jesus is God.
i able to read new testament for 2 week. and i got dream that there is fire on my right hand. when i wake up i told myself i can heal?
but before that i worship God the father, singing Again and Again for more than an hours ..
singing God the creator i wish to see Jesus with my own tone . 🙂 so it just did happen.
when i woke up in the next morning i saw Jesus.
the so bright star 5 time bigger than ordinary star showed up at the sky at 6 am in morning lasted for 30 minutes and gone. 🙂
the next morning it appear again.
i knew it becuase in revelation Jesus declare he is the morning star.
i told to my muslim friend i saw Jesus ☺ she was like what?
then her friend came to house looking badly sick. i ask her friend if i can pray for here.
i put my hand on her tummy and pray i just declare in the name of Jesus Christ be healed. then she was healed. she become active as if no pain at all. she has sever ulcer due to lacking of food. 🙂

Something I learned that I would love to share.
So many people forget the about the Will of God. What’s God’s Will for one person, in a given season, will not be the same will for someone else, because He knows where we are spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically... So when someone is called for a 40 day fast ( no matter how they do it) doesn’t mean that YOU have to do a 40 day fast. You just feel it in your spirit when you are called to a fast, and you pray about it and God will reveal the rest.
Knowing when to fast or how to fast has been my struggle, especially in this season of the pandemic because I’m home with 4 kids and all the mommy duties I have.
I’m in a prayer and meditation challenge for 30 days . Like every two hours I pray for 2 minutes and meditate the Bible for 5 mn . Why ? Because I want to get closer with GOD but I want to make it a habit to be praying anytime without ceasing ... Feel free to start 😉
Fasting is really fantastic. I recently did a no food no drink 3day fast and the closeness you feel to God was remarkable.
God is really great ,he saw danger that was coming a head of my family,so he instructed my family and i to fast for 40days . This instruction was through a dream from the youngest child of the family ,so we prayed as a preparation for the fast .Amazingly we started noticing miraculous signs in the first week, as we went on we started noticing different Revelations in the Bible as we fellowshiped everyday and more.
God is truly raising this generation for himself !

The MOST important thing is focusing your heart towards Jesus, falling in love all over again....Just delight and have joy in him. And Then just be led by the Spirit of God.

The longest I have done a fast w/o eating is 7 days. This is one of my spiritual goals in life but I must admit that I am nervous about doing this with work as well. This is my first time fasting, I thought I would try a 3 day fast. For dominion over my weed addiction (I smoked so many times everydah for 7 years) No food, no social media, no weed and no alcohol. Now I think I might need to do a ten day fast. I already feel results but because it’s only been a day 1/2 almost I still feel a craving for it and it hasn’t been long enough to get consistent to be real. I think I might have to do a few 3 day fasts then work my way up to 10 days
Have you received Jesus as your Lord and savior? If your answer is yes, Then fast, Jesus will break every yoke and loose the bands of wickedness in your life read Isaiah 58:6..vs 8 then your light shall break forth like the morning (new life in Christ Jesus), your healing shall spring forth speedily( physical and spiritual healing) and your righteous ness shall go before you( in Christ Jesus). The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard, then you shall call and the Lord will answer, you shall cry and He will say " Here I am".(purpose and Benefits of Fasting for those who are born again).
But if you have not received Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Fasting will not help you break the addition. Repent and ask Jesus to forgive.

I love weed, I love my Father and creator God, I love my son too.. when I smoke, I’d rather be smoking than around him. I grew up with an addict dad. I chose not to smoke till 27- and I’m mentally addicted to it. It’s an escape, I’m self medicating. I don’t know know what’s best, God does, so I hope one day I run to my bible more than I run to my pipe, bong, or joint. You don’t know my sitch dude.

I started my fasting prayer like many times now.. Ended up breaking it.. I found this video randomly here.. And all these beautiful comments here made me feel ashamed of myself. God loved me every day,though i did many sins. If not now, it is never from tomorrow i am starting my 150 days fasting prayer.. Ill mark here everyday..if anyone come across please pray for me.

There is a huge blessing in fasting. The most I have fasted was 5 days straight no water and no food. The experiences I had were amazing. I can imagine how Moises felt 40 days with no food or water talking to God in the mountain, how Jesus felt communion with the Father. The is a blessing in fasting and it should be part of every christian.

I experienced it only by reducing the food I’m eating , spending more time with his words and I am shocked by the revelations , I feel connected to the holy spirit by knowing about the difference of the spiritual and worldy things , I feel how powerful the word of God is , Hunger for the God’s word is better than hunger of the flesh .
