I watched this after a video of the original west end cast and I love how these Heathers are so in time with each other with the choreo, it really makes them look like a unified force
Yeah some of the newer productions of heathers have the veronica try join in on the candy store. some people like it some people don’t, personally i don’t have an opinion on it but i do love CBs veronica
christina's butt wiggle at 2:11 has me howling I love the playful/sassy vibe to her veronica she's a literal joy to watch and the chemistry between her and Jordan/Jodie is soooo electric
I like of this Vernonica kinda dances along almost as if she's not sure what she's doing. "Guys fall!"-she has that dreamy smile but at "That freak's!" she kinda snaps back into reality. And at "Course if you don't care!" Her legs are moving and when Chandler raises her hands, and Veronica does the same. And when McNamara grabs her wrist again back in real life.
Okay, I get this is, like, American High School, but since when has being a nerd ever been a bad thing? I honestly love being a Nerd - it's way more fun than trying to be 'cool'.
[bear in mind I'm from a southeast asian school so literally all of the popular kids are gorgeous yet freakishly smart nerds LOL] I guess the main issue is how nerds (speaking 2000s sense) have been viewed as people who prioritise academics over having a fulfilling social life and highschool experience™. While in SEA schools it's way more driven on academics and successes, American highschools fundamentally focus more on extracurriculars, clubs, and socialising. It's a cultural difference; for highschool the real success is having a large friendgroup, being known around the school, and keeping up appearances - something the quitessential "nerd", an obvious outlier, may be disliked for. When you think traditional nerd, you think "um, actually 🤓" - the real buzzkill when people are just trying to have fun. Someone who (as unfair as it may seem everyone else) prides themself as being _as good_ as everyone else - ie being in the same classes, going to school everyday, having friends - while not putting in a real effort to actually be liked or known.
Jodie Steele's Heather Chandler is just perfect - all of the other interpretations are good as well, but Jodie's is just something else

Kinda weird how Veronica is kinda vibing with them while they're telling her to fool her best friend but I'm vibing with it also
Overall I think Christina Bennington's iteration is more playful which is different from BWW's but I like them both almost the same

@@mayli9199 Christina Bennington is definitely my top 2 Veronica
She is actually tempted but trying to fight it......hence her joining in the hip wiggle but stopping herself....etc.
Right? It's almost looks like the heathers are puppeteering her, which is really cool and interesting

@@jamie-mv1eb Jordan might be the name of JD's actor, if not, that's sick for jodie

one of the best heather chandlers i have ever seen shes AMAZING

That last light... what an incredible touch.
I saw this cast live!!! it was AMAZING!
i love that "SHUT UP HEATHER!" in some versions that verse is just eh, but i love when the deliver is strong!
I saw jodie in feelgood academy (an underrated musical) and she was really good but THIS, this is AMAZING
I just-
*SHUT UP HEATHER!!*
Sorry it my favourite part of the whole song 😂
H. Duke began to fly when chandler pushed her
Lmao 🤣
“I believe I can fly”-Heather duke,1989
I love this version so much! The only thing that bothers me is how short the sleeves are on Christina's blazer haha
I think this is one of the best trio of Heathers for vocal talent and dancing talent I've seen
I could be be wrong but is this one faster than the off- Broadway version?
( don't judge ) This one is nice but I prefer the broadway one.
jodie isn't a heather chandler she is THE heather chandler
im so happy some of the old cast (actually, only jodie as far as i know) is still playing the role
THANK YOUUUU

Could you post our love is god
*bi panic
Hate this Veronica she’s too into it. I wouldn’t be that into betraying my best friend since diapers.
I don’t like that she’s betraying her bestie either… but on the other hand, her wobbling to the Heather’s dance moves is so darn funny XD
None of them are as good as the original counterparts. Sorry not sorry.
if you want the full bootleg i will give it to u for £100
Wow good price!
