    Gwendolyn Cardno, Chargé d’ Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Thailand, opened a new U.S. Department of Agriculture project implemented by Winrock International at an event in Bangkok. The Regional Agriculture Innovation Network (RAIN) project facilitates adoption of climate-smart innovations to increase agricultural productivity, reduce environmental impact and expand trade in Thailand and Southeast Asia through creation of a Climate Hub. At the event, RAIN celebrated the signing of MOUs between Winrock and five distinguished Thai and international partners: 1) Digital Economy Promotion Agency; 2) Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency; 3) Harmless Harvest Co., Ltd.; 4) Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture; and 5) CPS Weather Co., Ltd.

    Keep up the great works WINROCK.... I recall your good works in Central Asia (1998-2000). My Rotary Club took the lead, gathering funding to build 101 small family farm ponds in NE Thailand, and created an ESRI map of the locations. Getting more collaborations for development is essential.
