What an epic day man, I wanna come out with you one day. But hey I feel like my rods would break on even smaller fish, do you have any recommendations for a beefy slow pitch rod that can get the big ones up? I got some goofish rods but they seem tiny.
@@thefishingpublic9389 I rep and import the top 8 brands of rods mainly Japanese brands - with that technique you would break any rod you fish its not the rod. The rod is designed to flick the jig and get the bite, once your hooked up solidly the rod should be fished at the MAX parallel to the water or lower often pointed directly at the fish. I have customers catching 75 KILO groupers on these type of rods but they never lift the rod as high as you did in the video. No ill will whatsoever we all learn somewhere and sometimes the lessons are broken hardware beautiful boat is that an Invincible Cat ?
