Welcome to the Fishing Public, we are here to offer a secret look into the tools and methods used to harvest saltwater fish in the Gulf of Mexico. Tips and techniques from rigging tackle to reading a sonar, from catching bait to jigging artificial. The goal is to create a platform that gives the recreational fisherman an opportunity to catch more fish, when those precious few weather days align with off-days!! In addition, we will offer product reviews, with a goal to offer the viewer the best chance to make the right decision.

Welcome back to the channel! In this episode we take the new boat on its first adventure! We started slow pitch jigging in about 300 feet of water and eventually made it to about the 750-foot depth range. We caught a variety of different deep-water species, including longtail sea bass and barrelfish.

@@thefishingpublic9389 bottom bite has been tough I feel lately, I don’t have good spots but been out there jiggin natural bottom and not getting the grouper like I want. Tiles been easy though.
i’m going to have to start prospecting for Tile since grouper are nonexistent
