That sucks for sure, in my book you didn't zero when you caught your 1st fish even though it was not 2lbs, getting skunked is the worst, but it get will better, a crawfish boil is the bomb, wish I could have been there to help you eat them!✌️
Is that a drop shot ? You set them hooks 🪝 like a jig 😁💪🏻🎣, not that even the best drop shot fisherman doesn’t loose them, but in California most avid to pro fisherman fish a drop shot, and I never seen anyone crack them like you except myself lol 😂, and I used to miss most of my fish or loose them until I started reel setting and using a longer shank robo worm style hooks. But we still loose fish, just land at least 80 percent vs 40 percent 😁🎣👍🍺🍺 Either way who am I to tell you all this champ 😎🎣👍, I’m sure we all learn from our mistakes one way or another 🥳🎣🇺🇸
When my boss is paying for dinner, we go to boiling crab 🦀 and I get crawfish 🦞 and shrimp 🦐 with potatoes 🥔, sometimes we add sausage, but we definitely get corn 🌽 cause my boss loves them 😂, we get the shebang house flavor medium spicy 🥵 and that’s spicy 🌶️ trust 😂, you will find out at 3am lol 😂. Occasionally when we have a really good 👍 day, we spoil ourselves with king crab 🦀 legs or snow crab 🦀 legs, those are definitely 💯 my favorite 🤩 ❤😋🎉
I’d tighten my drag on that spinning reel a bit for the hook set then adjust it once they’re hooked. Chump tip for a pro lol. Love your videos hope you win a couple this year.
This fishing trip is synonymous with my college days of hitting the bars ,wearing my best colors,my best cologne,pocket full of money and trying my best to catch just one that was willing. I still went home saying,damn that was a rough night! I was not a heavy hitter. The grind is real.
