Eagles have been skating by all year and it’s finally catching up to them.
It really feels like San Francisco has an iron grip on the conference now. Dallas can't play on the road, Philly has a super exploitable defense and not enough offensive firepower to cover for it, Detroit has been a clown show for the last 30 years, and every other team is .500 or worse. San Francisco also already crushed Dallas and Philly head to head, and looks like they have the #1 seed locked up.

Drew Lock was the starter most of his time in Denver, he became a backup in Seattle after losing the QB competition to Geno in training camp last year
Drew perhaps played the greatest game of his life. Good for him! Good of him!!! He looked stunned and shocked during the postgame interview and you could tell how all of this was starting to sink in mid-sentence. Good for him!
A team does not want to have a 3 game losing streak in December. The 49ers had theirs in October and have been curb stomping teams ever since. They are my favorite to get to the Super Bowl.

Pete Carroll just does it again. He gets the most out of whatever guy is playing. I mean last year, they had two rooking linemen starting and the washed up Smith at QB. Takes his team to the playoffs. Not to mention the players love him, as he has so much fun. He takes that team to the playoffs every year it seems. Just hats off to him and his teams never quit.

Both teams played hard. The game turned on a couple of incredible plays, the first being that seemingly “out of bounds” interception. That was so beautiful, it look choreographed. That touchdown! Ball placed perfectly!

It was definitely a huge game for lock.
For one I’m sure he felt like he was thinking he might not ever play again, and to come out and win against the eagles, arguably the second best team in the nfc. AND it being a very important game to decide Seattle’s season.

In Philly, the fans and commentators are talking regression with Hurts. He holds the ball too long, can't read a defense and plays hero ball, forcing the ball to Brown when there are open receivers. These are mental problems. Especially last night, when they needed 15 yds for a FG.
But they're also talking about physical problems. Especially underthrowing the deep ball. Add to this his various injuries. If running is an essential part of his game, he's gonna get beat up. And it's always something in December. They're now comparing him to Wentz, but Wentz didn't have Brown and Smith.

Seattle pulled a Philly on Philly..Keep it close, make some stops, have one or two big plays at the end to win🤷🏾♂️ That's how The Eagles played and won all year.
If I ever want to hear commentary on the seahawks, I have to literally go find local seattle radio stations, and usually hope to find them while they're on air. I am so happy that once a year or so you give a really good overview on respecting the organization, their drafting, what they do well, what they need, etc. Nobody else ever does it, and I'm clueless as to why. It's not like they're irrelevant; they make the playoffs OFTEN. They upset a team and win a playoff game somewhat often as well. You're absolutely right Colin; find a solid qb that develops decent chemistry with Lockett (who may be the most underrated player of this generation, seriously that guy is phenomenal) and Metcalf, string together a couple good postseason games in a row and they can beat/hang with anyone with a couple great plays and coaching.

Yeah they make the playoffs often but the past 6 seasons, they’ve made the playoffs 4 times… ok. But only are 1-4 in the playoffs during that span. If they’re lucky to make it again this season probably as a 7 seed, they’ll probably lose again as a heavy underdog.

Hindsight. Denver is a tough and a hard nosed football team. The 80 million isn’t our money to worry about. Wilson will be gone either way and Sean Payton will surely have them really really good next year
Julian Love should be starting over Jamal Adams. Love is much better at covering receivers than Adams and Love is more durable than Adams too! The Seahawks should cut Adams in the offseason and save at least $6 million off their salary cap and use that money to sign players to longer deals like Lenoard Williams who are actual play makers and who truly make a difference on the defense.

The Eagles were extremely lucky to have beaten the Bills and Chiefs though……that’s something that Colin is leaving out….all of the crazy penalties called against the Bills plus missed calls like when J.Allen was horse collared plus two missed FGs and then against the Chiefs, MVS dropping a go ahead TD with under two minutes to go. Then they get stomped by SF and then stomped by Dallas. Now losing to Seattle with a backup QB starting……is Philly really very good??

Great to see Drew come thru. If I were running the Seahawks, I'd simply keep Geno and Drew for the next few years and spend their capital on building up the rest of their roster. That's been the plan the last couple years and I think it's working. Colin wants them to give up picks to move up and draft a QB, 2/3 of which turn out to be busts - big mistake. Keep doing what they're good at, and that is drafting talent which will help build their roster. That's the logical decision. And I must say, Mr. Spock would take severe umbrage at Colin's lack of logic.
I think Seattle ends 10-7. The Rams 'could' finish 10-7 if the Niners don't need that last game for the #1 seed.

I told people all year that the Eagles were not as good as their record showed, and nobody wanted to listen. Deebo called this team out for the whole off season. "If we had our QB, we would have cooked you" he was spot on. This team isn't that good. Shane Steikenbwas clearly the reason for this teams success. I also told people Eagles lost some guys from that original squad, and that was going to be a problem. No one wanted to listen because the media was pushing the narrative that they were this unstoppable juggernaut. Do people actually watch the games?
