You know, choosing Ehren Kruger to write a Disney remake is like if Disney hired Michael bay to write a Disney remake, it a baffling director's choice!
my biggest problem with the trailer thus far is that the human characters will clearly take the spotlight and Dumbo will just be the side animal character. The best part of the original film is that you see the film through his eyes, which is why there is limited dialogue and Timothy Mouse helps him. The original film's characters were perfect just the way they are and the story was simple and it had a pure and simple message. But clearly all of that just might not be happening in this remake.
Enigma Olivia yes that, and that Dumbo discovers that he has a purpose, a reason to embrace his uniqness and bring joy to others and a life with his family. Dumbo also learns that he is amazing just the way he is and what matters most is that he has Timothy and his mother at his side and he was born to soar.
Actually, Tim Burton does kind of fit Dumbo, because some of his films deal with outcasts as main protagonists, like Batman, Edward Scissorhands, technically Ed Wood for being a despised director of incompetence, Big Eyes, and even Charlie & the Chocolate Factory if you count Charlie. Can't say for sure how the final product will turn out, but some of Burton's past works do reflect the more fish out of water plot line that made Dumbo a beloved classic.
BlackCriticGuy I honestly respect your opinion about your thoughts on Dumbo remake. When I saw the teaser trailer, I do praise the visuals and the tone of the film and the things I don't like is that Timonthy Mouse isn't in the film and Ehren Kurger who is credited as a screenwriter for the film. I felt shocked, angry and flabbergasted that Ehren Kurger writing the film. He has never written a good film in his entire life. Just like you, I refused to watch the film too. I would rather watch How to Train Your Dragon 3 The Hidden World or Wonder Park instead. Once the remake comes out, I would rather watch the original animated Dumbo film in my VHS player and sing the classic songs.
(Notices Ghost in the Shell in his filmography) "Okay Ghost in the Shell is harmless compared to the rest of his writing credits, despite the ending twist. I actually liked it alright." (Notices everything else that he wrote on) "Ah crap...well...can't win them all right Disney? This one might be another bomb depending on the writing. Let's hope this doesn't become another Wrinkle in Time lol."
Ehren Kruger did the screenplay for Top Gun: Maverick and everyone knows how that movie is. But out of curiosity, what do you think of Top Gun: Maverick even with Ehren Kruger writing it?
So is there gonna be a “Why I won’t Watch: Dumbo?” But seriously, Disney is running out of ideas honestly. Why do they need to turn their animated franchises into live-action remakes?? I can’t understand this for the life of me. And they got Ehren Kruger to write for it???? Disney is really something else.
David Ray that’s the dude who wrote the dialogue for Scream 3, the last 3 Transformers films, Impostor, Ghost in The Shell, The Brothers Grimm, Reindeer Games....In short he’s the writer behind a lot of shitty films
I've hated every single live action Disney movie. They're all long, boring, unnecessary, and have awful CGI. Like Lion King?!?!? HOW IS THAT A LIVE ACTION FILM WHEN THE ENTIRE CAST IS GOING TO BE CGI!!! IT'S JUST GONNA BE AN ANIMATED MOVIE IN WHICH WE ALREADY FUCKING HAVE!!! This, Nutcracker, and whatever else they're ruining, all look like fucking shit. Reminds me of the awful Alice In Wonderland live action from 2010
Coffee Pot Thats...a pretty good point, i mean its like if Nintendo decided to make a Mario Bros Remake....on the N64 (and i mean literally unchanged except the graphics)
Simple Weirdo Literally the first Mario but with Mass Effects type Graphics...weird XD WAIT i just remember that BOMBERMAN ACT ZERO EXISTS, my joke is pointless noww
I'm kinda getting sick and tired of Hollywood making live action movies based on classic disney movies it's getting old and boring to me in my opinion.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who hates this upcoming remake. Disney needs to stop with their remakes. It’s getting old and this...this will suck! God dammit why Disney!? Why ruin a good thing?!
“Why ruin a good thing”? Exactly, it’s like they think live action is better then animation! Just depends, sometimes stories need it and sometimes they don’t! This is one of those times it doesn’t and they think $$$$ is all that matters! I’m really shocked they are doing this to EVERY animated Disney film as I thought ones like Dumbo are untouchable! “Just wait and see if it’s good”, it doesn’t matter!!!! The first WAS good so why again just with fancy graphics? They don’t care about making it good, they want box office results!
reasons why i didn't like the beauty and the beast remake is because of 1. obviously BAD CGI 2. THE DIRECTOR OF one of the worst films of 2008 and early 2010's the director of twilight the female character is named Bella so yeah, 3. one of the worst remixes ever OF THE ORIGINAL SONG IN AUTOTUNE MIND YOU GOD DAMMIT ALL yeah overall the remake to beauty and beast is a 4/10 for me
To tell you the truth, I'm planning on staying away as far away as possible from this movie. And, before anyone asks, I adore the original Dumbo and its actually a childhood favorite of mine.
Not to be an ass, but when your statement started with "to you, the truth" I was like, "who's this 'Truth' guy?" lol I just got confused and chuckled is all.
I agree I think I will hate it too. It really looks like the took away from the magic from that movie. I have problems with classic animated Dumbo but I still love it. This live action Dumbo looks like it will not be good.
To me the worst writer is the one who wrote Transformers, the Last Knight. I could have written better. I agree with you. They should have chosen another writer. He writes disjointed dialogue.
I can understand rebooting Jungle Book and Pete's Dragon along with Beauty and the Beast, it was good that they beat other studios to rebooting them. But its gone to far. Way to far. i mean, no Timothy Mouse in the Dumbo remake. No mice in the Cinderella remake. No Mushu in the Mulan movie, expecting us to sit through a Alladin remake where Genie will be completely different and having their remake of Pinochio come out roughly around the time Warner Bros does their Gepetto movie.......plus the Lion King remake being a HUGE amount of pressure on Jon Favreau......when will it end? Hopefully Dumbo will do poorly enough that they'll cancel some of the films in there remake slate. I refuse to watch an Alladin movie without hearing my sweef Robin Williams vouce and hilarious delivery i can't.
The H Factor Movie Vlogs you realize that this is mainly executive decisions responsible for ALL these "reboots." I think there are a few exceptions which this works well, but you're completely right about EVERY movie, I mean, is this high cgi to make up for the lack of 2d animation or is this just a continuation of reboot hell
Cosmicgoatee yeah there are exceptions. Like jungle book being one of them, its such a timeless tale and its gonna get remakes till the end of time. Plus, there have been many a good remakes made some even better than the original., It saddens me that the executive decisions that they are making is a selection of remakes instead of striving to get original ideas and get people involved who are creative and passionate about what story they want to tell. That and the fact that 2d animation is being ignored which is heart breaking. Cause Disney's last 2d animated film was The Princess and the Frog and its a great film, the best part of that film is that it was 2d. It was nice to see that art form again. Well that and Disney is remaking films that don't need to be rebooted. (With some eceptions. ) the worse being that the are rebooting movies from the Disney Renaissance.
The H Factor Movie Vlogs in the case of dumbo I can....understand a remake (I love the crows and have tolerance to understand the stereotyping of them, and all of the drinking and other era specific tropes and mindsets) but like, you're not wrong, how long before everything is rebooted, some live action I can see working, Pocahontas (done historically accurate but with the story plot still intact would be great), the Black Cauldron, because it's severely overlooked and you can make a really really cool fantasy reboot of it, and something more modern I can see is Atlantis, as a live action film, like HIRE ME DISNEY 😂
Cosmicgoatee oh yes! I can understand them wanting to shy away from tropes from back then, but that doesn't mean that they should have deleted the crows entirely. It would have been cool to see what they could have done with the crows. And yes, the films you mentioned would be great ideas for remakes down the road. Well, if the storytelling is solid, especially with The Black Cauldron and Atlantis. Disney needs to hire you! Those are Great ideas!
On another topic, have you seen the trailer for Wonder Park? It is being directed by David Feiss, the creator of Cow and Chicken. It is a great trailer, and the animation looks like it was made by either Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, or Blue Sky.
The thumbnail made me think you were talking about a person standing in feont of your seat in a theater lol I'm not gonna lie, I'm probably not gonna watch this for the fact that I enjoyed the ravens, which they are FOR SURE not gonna include in the movie. Also, I forgot what it was calles, but those ghost elephants dancing around and being creepy would be WEIRD to see in live action/cgi. I think all of dumbo would be weird to see lol.I just might watch it just to see ma boi magnum dong. Ps: Tony pls watch A Quiet Place
Thanks BlackCriticGuy! Although this is the commentary on the new Dumbo I have been dreading. You confirmed that the live action human-centered, modern Disney corporate motif just looks bad. It feels like a shit burrito. And not the good kind. The 1941 version of Dumbo was an important movie for me, and became part of my psyche. I saw it when I was 5, then a few times after. I remember it as overall exciting and engrossing and entertaining (etc.) - AND... the absolutely saddest thing I ever saw. To this day, 60+ years later, I remember the song "Baby Mine." I bawled my little 5 and 6 year-old eyes out (my parents were divorcing at the time) when his mom was locked away, and he was separated from his mother by the jail bars. She did what she could to remain connected to her baby, and to be a comfort to him. When she stuck her trunk out through the bars to comfort him it tore me up as a kid feeling ripped away from my own mother. ALL she cared about and focused on was saving her child. Besides being a gripping story beat, it is also an accurate portrayal of a real mom. Now, decades later, the motif of the movie Dumbo is sort of playing out for me again in real life. My actual mom is 93+ now, and living in care, about an hour away. I have siblings and we all do our own thing, mom-wise. I didn't really visit her over the decades, probably like a lot of guys. Then she declined so much she is now locked away in a "Memory Care Unit" since last spring. She was frightened and worried and in a lot of anguish, which broke my heart. My attitude changed - I remembered that she was always there for me when I had nightmares, or was sick, or scared, no matter how tired she was caring for her family. I felt it was my turn to step up and care for her. So, I visit her 2-3 times a week now, and sit with her, just so she isn't scared, and she knows I remember her and love her. Just so she can hear someone call her "Mom" every few days. If it’s possible to transfer some vibe of relief and love and joy via some vibe-connection thing, I do it. And since those visits started for me last spring, "Baby Mine" plays in my head on visiting trips, and the picture of Dumbo’s mom yearning only for her child haunts me. She gave me her heart and all her energy when I was scared as a little kid - now it's my turn to reach out to her. The original Dumbo tells that story. I was worried the new 2019 Dumbo would not show anything real or important - and your video today, BlackCriticGuy, sadly confirmed my worries and demonstrated that the new Dumbo will be a POS. It will utterly spoil the Dumbo-mom redemption thing for me. So, I will stay home (so to speak). Thanks for sparing me the disappointment and the $ ten bucks. I had a golden experience and memory from my early childhood that I still treasure, and I will keep that. THANK YOU BlackCriticGuy!!!
The only thing about it that disappoints me is the mouse not being in it I'd know a way to put him in that movie and still make it an animal mute movie I like Tim Burton Cheshire cat 😸
So this is the guy that made Kuze some weird corporate assassin and made me decide to not watch the live action GiTS. Huh. Ant Man and Wasp was great tho. I saw some trash trailers before it too.
The Dumbo remake has a unique concept but it was really squandered by hiring a terrible writer. Aladdin 2019 sucked because of the terrible direction by Guy Ritchie, rehashing and terrible CGI effects. The Lion Ling 2019 sucked because it just copies the animated film and lacks originality and the lack of impact heart and soul of the animated film. And worst of all the lack of facil emotions on the characters.
I'm fucking getting tired of these remakes. I hope Bambi 2 will get a sequel and not a remake because I think Bambi 3 will actually be the final sequel to Bambi. I want to see what his children will be like and white their personalities too. But if Disney fucks up, then I will not like Disney anymore. Bambi is my childhood character and he is just adorable too. I will like the animated 2d and 3d films but just not the company's owner or president of Disney. If Tim Burton made another Bambi sequel with Disney again and make it like a Dark Bambi movie like the Original and the second, that would be the best thing in my entire life.
I've said this before, I'll say it again. The only thing Disney related that I'll support is Kingdom Hearts. It's really sad that Disney now has become a shell of its former self that I'm only buying a Japanese Final Fantasy crossover game that treats Disney's works with more respect and dignity than their live action flanderizations of our beloved classics. They ruined Star Wars, the Captain Marvel movie's nothing more than a left wing propaganda film, Disney RUINED Maleficent with that godawful remake with Angelina Jolie, the last "good" Disney films we got were Zootopia and Moana, now they ruin Beauty and the Beast my favorite Disney movie, they're remaking Lion King, I have no faith in Disney anymore. It makes me sad, because growing up, those movies were my childhood! SCREW YOU, DISNEY!
David Timmer 1. How did they "ruin Star Wars" exactly? A lot of people like to say that and not elaborate. 2. Captain Marvel...left wing propaganda...HOW? 3. They didn't "ruin" Maleficent _or_ Beauty and the Beast. Those remakes are only connected to the originals by name. Their existence doesn't suddenly make the originals suck. 4. OK...they're remaking Lion King...your point? The 2016 Jungle Book movie was pretty good, so what exactly is the problem here? Hell, even if it _was_ bad, that doesn't mean that The Lion King remake is _automatically_ going to be bad as well. I'm sorry, but you're _really_ overreacting.
The main reason I think Tim Burton was picked to do the movie for was the "Pink Elephants on Parade" sequence. It looks like it could be at least okay to me.
I enjoyed Antman too Mr Black critic guy. But when I saw the dumbo trailer, I was like no thank you. It was not interested to watch. It’s Disney remaking classic animated films.
When I saw the name Ehren Kruger I instantly thought of your top 10 worst writers and directors video; by the way, I didn’t even notice that when I saw the trailer last night before Ant-Man and the Wasp started! I don’t know how I didn’t notice because the name is huge and noticeable but I know now so yea XD
I stopped caring for these live action remakes after seeing how bad of a reboot Beauty and the Beast. Yes I did go see it (my family really wanted so we ended going anyway), as a movie Beauty and the Beast 2017 was okay. As a remake though; it was horrible, and it barely made any sense compared to the original. With this Dumbo Tim Burton remake; I didn't love the original as a kid (or as an adult that much more either), however it's going to probably be another mediocre somewhat crappy movie that's a boring unimaginative remake of the original. Not only that but's it Tim Burton, he has a terrible track record when it comes to remakes including a box office disappointment that Alice through the Looking Glass was! Other to hopefully make more money I have no idea why the Disney Executives want Tim Burton to remake Dumbo!
Daniel Olynick True, Tim Burton IN GENERAL hasn't been a good director since "Nightmare before christmas" (Frankenweenie is an exception). And also this Remake is really unnecesary for me, compared to other films NOBODY CARES ABIUT DUMBO
If there's one more I would like to add (thanks for replying K don't usually get into that many conversations here) Disney would be better off trying to do anything else but remakes of their classic movies.
Daniel Olynick No problem, and i dont know, i think Disney just ran out of ideas, i mean last time they tried to be original they made "GEMS" like Chicken Little and Home on the range. Im still strongly against these Live action remakes (Live action never was Disney best territory anywahs)
Never really cared for Dumbo. As a kid everyone made fun of it. I may look at now since it's a 1940's classic. The history surrounding dumbo with the the war it's low budget and subtle propaganda.
Wait a second Tony. Didn't you like age of extinction and those other two transformers films? (Aside from the last knight even though Kruger didn't write that)
Frist of all when saw frist trailer of Dumbo the colors went good, the settings are individuals around the circus is fine feels like an actual circus, But..... the CG on Dumbo is unnatural😒😒😒. I heard what you said about Dumbo I completely understand why you're angry, but (again) that's not the reason I'm ANGRY😡😡😡 about this movie Angry for you oh I don't know..... DISNEY FORGET ABOUT THE HISTORY OF DUMBO WHEN WALT DISNEY LOST TONS OF MONEY OTHER TWO PREVIOUS MOVIES HE CREATED PINOCCHIO AND FANTASIA AND DUMBO SAVE THEIR BUTTS BEFORE CINDERELLA AND AROUND WILL MAKING OF THE MOVIE ANIMATIONS TOOK ON STRIKE! So this movie going have fast ticket and we remember the original animated one.⭐⭐⭐
Disney classic remakes usually suck. Beauty and the Beast might have won a ton of money, but it was pretty lame. I'd say even forgetable. Let's see if Dumbo is also just a forgetable movie.
I hate to sound like a certain individual but, Remember when Disney made Hand-Drawn films I do. Even films like Brother Bear and Home on the Range were better films than these abominations.
Why does this Dumbo Remake exist? LOL awesome video Tony your original Rant from 2015 on the Dumbo Remake is still one of your greatest and inspiring videos on your channel I’m 100% with ya.THIS S**TY REMAKE’S GONNA SUCK! 1 It dosen’t need to exist the original Dumbo is PERFECT and TIMELESS it needs NO REMAKE! 2 it’s directed by Tim Burton who’s style is FAR TOO CREEPY! For Dumbo, 3 The CGI and Visuals look like S**T! Nothing like the beautifully animated hand drawn animation of the original Dumbo, 4 there’s no sign of Timothy The Mouse or The Crows or even Mrs Jumbo or the other Elephants in this entire trailer, the added in human characters SUCK, 5 EHREN FREAKING KRUGER! Is writing the script. Oh boy am I dreading this rehash Of a animated classic this shall be the second worst movie of 2019 second only the EVEN WORSE Lion King Remake!
never doubt tim burton in terms of visuals, but i still have doubts on whether dumbo will be any good, hell, the best song during the original was "i just about seen every thing when i see an elephant fly" and that won't fly this time around with SJW's going on about everything now.
I usually walk out when a trailer I don't like plays like when I saw Spider-Man Homecoming in cinemas, I walked out when The Emoji Movie trailer played and waited until it ended. You should have walked out in the Dumbo trailer.
At first I saw the thumbnail and was like *How the heck does one actor playing as a circus host ruin an entire movie?* And then I watched the video and was like *CJ?* *OOOOOOOOHHHHH......* ^_^
See This is why we should not have Disney life action remakes because there are missing up with are childhood as a live action hybrid without making anything new and original films
While I understand your skepticism, I still think you are overreacting a tad. You don't know how this movie will do. You don't know how it will be. Who knows? He might learn his lesson and it could be a diamond in the rough.
Oh don't worry. When it comes to movies...I hardly complain. I'm actually excited to see them. And why would I cry to you? Do I know you? Nope. Do I care? Nope.
So you have certain 'tastes' separate from BCG; yup, it'll suck for the rest of us. But, you go and enjoy it, like the rest of these live action interpretations. Neither us or BCG enjoyed Tim Burton's films or Krueger's writing, like you, so yeah.
You know, choosing Ehren Kruger to write a Disney remake is like if Disney hired Michael bay to write a Disney remake, it a baffling director's choice!
Bay wouls have made dumbo and the whole circus blow up
Lol, yeah that the alternate ending where Michael bay plays the ringleader and nukes the circus cause he has an explosion addiction.
my biggest problem with the trailer thus far is that the human characters will clearly take the spotlight and Dumbo will just be the side animal character. The best part of the original film is that you see the film through his eyes, which is why there is limited dialogue and Timothy Mouse helps him. DISNEY, STOP RE-MAKING OLD CLASSICS INTO LIVE-ACTION ONES! EVERYTHING DOESN'T HAVE TO BE LIVE-ACTION! FOR FUCK SAKE, *LEAVE THEM BE!!!*
Don't watch it then, watch the original
At least it's not directed by Michael Bay. So, that's something
Theodore A. Watts *adds explosions in every scene
I mean, who was really clambering for a live-action remake of Dumbo?
not me or god himself WALT DISNEY himself is shaking is head furiously in his grave
BlackCriticGuy I honestly respect your opinion about your thoughts on Dumbo remake. You don’t know, it might actually turn out good in the end, and you’ll have actually underestimated Kruger.
In the meantime, just wait till 2019...
TotalBoogeymenH2Oplus He’a still not watching it regardless
che guevara I know. I’m kinda expecting him to do a “Why I won’t watch” video on it when it comes out next year.
(Notices Ghost in the Shell in his filmography) "Okay Ghost in the Shell is harmless compared to the rest of his writing credits, despite the ending twist. I actually liked it alright." Well how about you give ideas to Disney.

Same
Then don't watch it
I’m glad I’m not the only one who hates this upcoming remake. Disney needs to stop with their remakes. It’s getting old and this...this will suck! God dammit why Disney!? Why ruin a good thing?!
Penny P. Pen, u r so right😷
i told you guys there running out of ideas that's why i have a bad feeling just like with the twilight director for beauty and the beast hands down
my least anticipated film/remake of 2019 so far until maybe other crappy films come out
“Why ruin a good thing”? Exactly, it’s like they think live action is better then animation! Just depends, sometimes stories need it and sometimes they don’t! I haven’t seen the video but lemme guess, Ehren Krueger?
They ruin dumbo my chilhood movie😭
It’s 2018 I’m surprised people still watch Disney,I remember watching Disney XD more than Disney itself 😂😂
To tell you the truth, I'm planning on staying away as far away as possible from this movie.
And, before anyone asks, I adore the original Dumbo and its actually a childhood favorite of mine.
Don't forget about The Loin King Live Action version, I have a real bad feeling about this.
Also, I must confess that I actually like the first Ring movie. But I can't deny that its sequel sucked lol.
+francisjairam Same here :/
Not to be an ass, but when your statement started with "to you, the truth" I was like, "who's this 'Truth' guy?" lol
I just got confused and chuckled is all.
Andddddd he was right, the screenplay was one of the main things that was critised lol
You know it will be bad when the writer of Scream 3 is writing the screenplay for Dumbo 2019
.w. 'Dumvo'?
Most likely a joke. Similar to how the elephant was meant to be called "Jumbo" in the original movie, but is called Dumbo, instead.
Oh no
The "Dumbo" teaser reminds me a bit of "Big Fish" cause the way it looks. I'll hold my judgement till I see the film.
Oh yeah, NO CROWS! No reprise of that song. Sad. Just sad.
I don't get angry at noting or trailers but save the angry with the live action lion king in 2019
Why is Disney making live actions out of everything?

On another topic, have you seen the trailer for Wonder Park? It is being directed by David Feiss, the creator of Cow and Chicken. It is a great trailer, and the animation looks like it was made by either Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, or Blue Sky.
Uuuuuum........I actually enjoyed Ghost in the shell. *puts up shield to defend against incoming attacks*
Jeff E
Ignore the people who'll attack you.
They're not worth your time.
Jeff E
I enjoyed the movie too.
Oh wow, I thought I was the only one, although I do hear whispers of ones who enjoyed it.
Thank you very much, I will.
It was okay, don't understand the hate behind it.
Otherwise, eh.
Ehan Krueger looks like the Nostalgia Critic
He's everything Doug Walker wants to be
I saw it shown in movie theater previews....
Man is like God wanted you to make a video about the dumbo trailer. XD
I'm only supporting Kingdom Hearts when it comes to Disney
David Timmer well shit.
It is still a bad idea.
The thumbnail made me think you were talking about a person standing in feont of your seat in a theater lol
I'm not gonna lie, I'm probably not gonna watch this for the fact that I enjoyed the ravens, which they are FOR SURE not gonna include in the movie.
I remember him in your top 10 worst directors and writers on the no.3 spot
Terrible writer for a dumbo remake.
I can't wait to see this movie!! Like if you you aggre
The only thing about it that disappoints me is the mouse not being in it
I'd know a way to put him in that movie and still make it an animal mute movie
I like Tim Burton Cheshire cat 😸
Yep all those remakes were trash!👎
Give the movie a chance. It might be surprisingly decent. _The Jungle Book_ was.
Tony the only reason why Disney put the trailer in ant man and the wasp so they make sure you watch it
If disney dose the the little mermaid. A classic to this and i say heck no
I'm fucking getting tired of these remakes.
David Timmer
Persian Slashuur
Yeah I agree with you.
Persian Slashuur Yep.
Last Jedi, skepticism, cheap cash ins on beloved classics. Disney's running out of ideas at this point.
My dad watches the live-action Transformers films. I didn't know Ehren Kruger got so much hate for the films he wrote.
The main reason I think Tim Burton was picked to do the movie for was the "Pink Elephants on Parade" sequence. It looks like it could be at least okay to me.
oh dear god no not a CGI pink elephants on parade after the 2018 Grinch film
was Dumbo's mother at least a part of the trailer? she was such an important character in the original
You think the crows made the cut? XD
Tony PLEASE do an ANT MAN AND THE WASP review, Please, I am begging you
Can’t wait to see your ant man and the wasp review I really liked it
I enjoyed Antman too Mr Black critic guy. But when I saw the dumbo trailer, I was like no thank you. It was not interested to watch. It’s Disney remaking classic animated films.
Erin Kruger YOU SUCK AS A WRITER AND DIRECTOR NOW GET THE FUCK OUTTA HOLLYWOOD
Can't wait to see what he has to say about the Lady and the Tramp remake......i love this channel!
Okay I've never even seen the original but I already have low as FUCK expectations.
Thanks Tony for warning us about who the writer is in the live-action Dumbo remake I've never seen any of his films and thank god I never will
Oh and by the way when's your review of Ant man and the Wasp coming? I didn't go see it and won't bother seeing it until I can rent it.
Are you planning to review darling and the franxx and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in the near future ?
When I saw the name Ehren Kruger I instantly thought of your top 10 worst writers and directors video; by the way, I didn’t even notice that when I saw the trailer last night before Ant-Man and the Wasp started! I don’t know how I didn’t notice because the name is huge and noticeable but I know now so yea XD
I knew you were gonna talk about Disney hiring someone like Ehren Kruger to write this film
Beauty and The Beast was alright!
Never really cared for Dumbo. As a kid everyone made fun of it. I may look at now since it's a 1940's classic. The history surrounding dumbo with the the war it's low budget and subtle propaganda.
No crows or mouse to make it tick,
This reboot must be a (new)Disney flick
Ring 1 is actually a good movie but I noticed he wrote the last three Transformers movies. I agree this movie will suck.
Wait a second Tony. Didn't you like age of extinction and those other two transformers films? (Aside from the last knight even though Kruger didn't write that)
Awesome! LOVE THE RANTS.
So this movie going have fast ticket and we remember the original animated one.⭐⭐⭐
that elephant looks like a N64 character it makes those nintendo 64 transformers by bay look like citizen kane
What did you think of the second trailer we got yesterday?
Well, just because someone wrote bad films, that doesn't mean that he/she is a hack.
you're right................ CONSTANTLY writing bad films with no signs of improvement means he's a hack.
Yeah, clearly SAO must be written by a *GENIUS* ...
Dumbo deserves better
Dumbo was the focus of his own movie right? Adding in humans destroys the purpose of this remake
Thomasmemoryscentral Well said, that’s where this rehash will fail and the original success👍!
InsideOut Fan2001 I’m with ya 100% buddy👍!
When I saw the trailer when it dropped, I cringed and I was super upset...
If it makes you feel any better, I'll go see the Dumbo remake and talk about it on video.
Ehren Kruger started off alright with Arlington Road, and then dropped off real bad. Hopefully he took this project seriously.
emphasis on HOPE
Great Video BCG
Whats his problem with Ehren Kruger?
He was the guy who is called "The Franchise Killer".
@@LittlePaul1002 I saw The Brothers Grimm and I thought it was ok.
@Anthony Nichols ah, I see. The Transformers movie.
I was summoned
never doubt tim burton in terms of visuals, but i still have doubts on whether dumbo will be any good, hell, the best song during the original was "i just about seen every thing when i see an elephant fly" and that won't fly this time around with SJW's going on about everything now.
Call me crazy, but I'm actually interested in this movie. I liked the original but I still have hope for this one.
That Elfman! :D
I usually walk out when a trailer I don't like plays like when I saw Spider-Man Homecoming in cinemas, I walked out when The Emoji Movie trailer played and waited until it ended. You should have walked out in the Dumbo trailer.
Tony I hope you don't get mad when I said this I want to see this movie good or bad
Edward Sanchez Productions
I want to see this movie too.
I REFUSE to see this garbage!
At first I saw the thumbnail and was like *How the heck does one actor playing as a circus host ruin an entire movie?* And then I watched the video and was like *CJ?* *OOOOOOOOHHHHH......* ^_^
Also sherk 5 come out the same year too
Luke A 119 are sure about that i FIND the shrek 5 poster
Luke A 119 if you say so
Dude, have you reviewed Jurassic world Fallen Kingdom yet? Also are you hyped for the Tomb Raider movie have you seen the trailer?
I enjoyed The Ring but not The Ring two
Norman Rene at less the 1st the RING is good
The trailer reminds me of The Greatest Showman
See This is why we should not have Disney life action remakes because there are missing up with are childhood as a live action hybrid without making anything new and original films
What next Disney gonna hire M. Night shamalamading dong for that jungle cruise movie??
If they are lucky, maybe even Michael Bay.
What do some remakes lack?
Talent, story and great actors
While I understand your skepticism, I still think you are overreacting a tad. You don't know how this movie will do. You don't know how it will be. Who knows? He might learn his lesson and it could be a diamond in the rough.
Oh please....haven't you see Beauty and the Beast and Maleficent Live Action versions? Those were terrible.
Yeah, I enjoyed them
KanekoXLiamB okay well if you complain that the upcoming live action disney movies suck when you see them, don't come crying to me.
Does anyone else watch this multiple times. Just cuz.
I don’t even know the movie ehern Kruger made
Here you go. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ehren_Kruger
Thanks
No problem.
At least we still have the Lion King remake. That sounds genuinely promising.
nope i love the original lion king better
Dumbo looked uncanney valley.
2019 is going to suck big time
I actually do think the movie will be good ( then I watch this) yeah, hope your happy Disney
Didn't you say Shamalan was the worst director in Hollywood?
Silent Protagonist Khruger is a writer not a director like Shamalan.
Neo
Yup.
Do you like The Ring 1?
Have u watched everyday life with monster girls
SuperSpidy3000 i do and i love it oh course
It's an anime
