College football is way better
@@pyramix7295 Each to their own of course. But I prefer a sport where the lower teams consistently have a chance, and the talent divide isn't so great. In College football there's one maybe two teams with the talent level to seriously win a national title, in college basketball even the top teams see their fair share of struggle and elimination to lower teams, sure the top teams still generally come out on top. But seeing lower teams from lower conferences actually get chances, and make something of those chances, beats Alabama/Clemson/Georgia part 4.

Villanova-UNC is the best by far but Florida-Wisconsin is my 2nd favorite. A perfect send off for one of the best announcers of all time.
The Bryce Drew buzzer beater for Valparaiso needs to be included! That was such a great play design. Also the Tyus Edney game winner for UCLA vs Mizzou where he went the length of the court in 4 seconds. And Suggs game winner for Gonzaga.

Valpo was best inbound play ever. From full court to boot. Princton beating UCLA ON layup. Smarts shot in 87 title game. So many great games i cant remember since 1970.
Bryce Drew for the Valpo win continues to be the BEST EVER March Madness moment✨ Smaller, mid-major taking down a Power school before it was a regular thing. So memorable that Bryce once shared that he felt embarrassed in his gear when he compared it to Ole Miss during the pregame. The Crusaders were my first intro to a Cinderella during that Sweet Sixteen run ✝️
The big one that's missing is the Lorenzo Charles dunk to give NC State the title. No idea how they left that one off.

March Madness is the greatest thing in all of sports.
This video was updated a year ago. That's within about a year after arguably the greatest game of college basketball EVER was played between UCLA and Gonzaga, and you include only the year with Morrison. I hope to see the Juzang/Suggs finish in the future.

I still cannot beleive custer shot vs vols. The bounce of rim to backboard seemed to spin in reverse. Crazy. First ncaa game was year before 2 2nd rd games. Xavier vs FSU. X HAD Bluiett. They hit 6 3s on 7 trips in 2nd half when noles made run. All were as shot clock was under 5. Bill murrery son was a aast on x. He wss there. So next year my friend who was living in Atl. And i bought sweet 16 elite 8 tickets for South regional. We grew up in Chicagoland. His father was a Loyola grad and my sister went there. They ended up playing in south. I was going to buy 2 ticket 20 rows behind a bench top of key. For 750 each. He told me wait. It would have been behind rsmblers bench. Ended up 5 row on baseline other end of court. Saw them 1st half and they killed it last 10 minutes of half. Nevada was nba ready size. The twins were relentlass last 7 8 of game. Then kent vs kstate followed. Kent had 90% of seats. Never hated them. Their crying and blaming refs was pitiful. They got outplayed. Simple as that. They sold back tuckets and you saw Acc fans. Sec fans who got a chance tk see good ball. So the crowd was even but as game went on they became impressed by loyola. K State came out flat and couldnt over come 14 16 pt lead in 2nd half. Plus they didnt have their big man for either game. For 25 years i could go to orlando, jacksonville. Miami. Or tampa for 1rst and 2nd rd games. Cause bike week in daytona was same week. Family restaurant denied me from going. So this year its back jn orlando. 4 games thurs. 2 on sat. Can buy cheapseat for 118 to 150. Thats a goid deal in my book.

You know, the only highlight they ever talk about anymore is the Christian Lattner shot in 1992. They mentioned it in the middle of the game for UCLA and Gonzaga in the final four. Like that shot had nothing to do with the game we were watching. Neither of those teams were playing, it was elite eight rather than the final four. And it was damn near 30 years ago. Let it go people

First year back in the tournament for UK against the reigning champs. UK squad full of homegrown kids against all-Americans...back and forth score the whole game...the ridiculous shot by Sean Woods to put UK on top...then the dagger. Lol. 98 game got me straight over it though.
