Just to get a perspective on how property values have changed. my 2003 home is 2,800 sq. ft and purchased for $185k when I bought it in 2003 which I likely overpaid at that time for like $5k. This 1,600 sq. ft home is $261k in 2023.

I have a question 🤔 ..I was talking to a friend about how I would like to move to Texas; she asked me why that location. I said, bc of the beautiful homes;...she said that the homes here are known to be built with cheap materials...is that true!?😟

You can see certain things yourself such as if the siding is stucco, hardiplank or vinyl, foundation of blocks or poured, built on slab or crawl space etc.*
